The good thing first. The staff was very helpful, me and my companion got smoking rooms by mistake, but the staff solved it by giving us a shared non-smoking room. The bad thing is though that the room we got wasn´t so great. You could feel the springs from the mattresses and the aircon couldn´t be adjusted or turned off. It got really annoying, because the wind from the aircon was too cold for us and the noise made it impossible to sleep well. A solution was to block the wind with our luggage and try to sleep on the blankets to soften the springs a bit, while wearing full clothes so we wouldn´t freeze. We didn´t really sleep though and found another hotel the next morning. although we knew we couldn´t get a refund. Besides that my travel companion found the place dirty and I think that it smelled like an old uncle. I would find other places to stay in Hikone, there are plenty of them.

キレイな部屋でした。 1階のレンタカー屋と一緒のチェクインカウンター、2階がチェックアウトカウンターなので注意です。泊まった部屋はベッドサイドにコンセントが無かったので寝そべりながらスマホいじりは出来ません。予約の際に喫煙、禁煙の記述が無かったので問い合わせたら予約は喫煙部屋だが禁煙部屋が空いているので変更可能とのことで変更してもらえました。2階に懐かしのマンガがズラリと並んでいたので、部屋に閉じこもって読み耽るのも良いかも？
