We absolutely love the Grand Hotel. Everyone that we meet or works at the Grand Hotel make you feel like you are at home - away from home. The attached cafe offers a great variety of snacks to sandwiches and natural items for sale. You should try their Reuben’s! We can’t wait to come back!

The room looked exactly as it did online. I love everything about our stay. Safe environment, complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, and tea all night. Live entertainment at the bar. Enjoyed every bit of our stay.

The Grand Hotel is a classy old style hotel with beautiful rooms, an attached market place, and the 1890 room for a later night relaxing beverage and entertainment. Had jazz the night we stayed there. The jazzz was nice and not so loud you couldn't talk to each other. The hotel has an awesome balcony that wraps 2 sides of building. Great place to sit, watch town flow by, play games, and hav3 a glass of wine. Highly recommend a stay at the Grand Hotel!

The Grand Hotel is a classy old style hotel with beautiful rooms, an attached market place, and the 1890 room for a later night relaxing beverage and entertainment. Charming, quaint hotel. Loved the area, room was terrific. Hotel bar was also great, warm and cozy. This property is not for everyone as there is no television but it very much to our liking. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is wonderful and furnished beautifully reflecting the time period of the 1800s. The staff were great and extremely helpful. We were able to check in early and do some shopping before returning to our room for a rest. Later we enjoyed going downstairs to the restaurant for some amazing food, drinks and music.

This hotel was nice and clean, elegant, and quiet! It was an overnight stay for my boyfriend and I before traveling home and it was a nice relaxing space. The bathroom was redone and modern and the bed had a memory foam mattress. 5 stars!!

We loved this place. Took my wife for a weekend getaway. Really like that they have preserved much of the origional structure and architecture. The high ceilings, heart pine interior wood workings, early era furniture, fixtures, and in-room fire places set this place apart. Stepping inside is akend to stepping back in time to when things were slower and simpler. The 1890 Room is a gem as well, featuring live music, drinks and a really nice sitting area. The fella running the hotel (Pablo) seemed to be a genuinely nice family man who takes cares of his guests. This will become a regular stop for us and we look forward to going back.

The staffing, specifically a person by the name of Vickie Brown. Her demeanor and attitude towards myself was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. I felt belittled and not accepted at this venue. This was an embarrassment if this is how she runs the "event planning" of this venue.

The Grand Hotel is a classy old style hotel with beautiful rooms, an attached market place, and the 1890 room for a later night relaxing beverage and entertainment. Had jazz the night we stayed there. The jazzz was nice and not so loud you couldn't talk to each other. The hotel has an awesome balcony that wraps 2 sides of building. Great place to sit, watch town flow by, play games, and hav3 a glass of wine. Highly recommend a stay at the Grand Hotel!

Charming, quaint hotel. Loved the area, room was terrific. Hotel bar was also great, warm and cozy. This property is not for everyone as there is no television but it very much to our liking. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is wonderful and furnished beautifully reflecting the time period of the 1800s. The staff were great and extremely helpful. We were able to check in early and do some shopping before returning to our room for a rest. Later we enjoyed going downstairs to the restaurant for some amazing food, drinks and music.

I'm so glad we chose The Grand Hotel for our stay. The staff were very kind and helpful. It was super clean, quiet, and very secure and safe. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. It's a beautiful hotel with lots of charm. We would love to go back and stay again sometime. Highly recommend!

Biggest heads up? They don't have staff on site in the late evenings. I was there for a wedding and made plans late. I didn't see my e-mail that said I needed to call them if I was going to be in late. When we got to the hotel at 11 p.m., there was only the bar guy closing up. Fortunately he was able to provide me with a phone number of someone who could answer and tell me how to get into the room. So all ended well, but a little stressful there. Make sure to call ahead so you know how to get in! The hotel itself is adorable and while it obviously had to be retrofitted for a/c etc, they did an excellent job. We stayed there in late May 2026 and it was HOT. We were able to get the room cooled down so we slept well. THANK YOU for the ceiling fan! And while the hotel is VERY close to the train tracks, we didn't find them obnoxious. They went through a couple of times, but it was fast and they were quiet with the horns. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. And furnished like you would expect for a historic hotel! But don't think you'll sneak in. LOL Stairs are a bit creaky - as you'd expect for a hotel of that age. All in all, a very nice place to stay. We weren't there long. We would recommend it though!

We booked for one night with our two boys and Jessica was so accommodating and helpful. The property is a dream, we will be coming back as often as possible especially on a night when the 1890 room is open!

If you are into throwbacks with some upgraded amenities then this place is for you. It sits in a beautiful little town and you can imagine how it was at the turn of the century. We can’t say enough about this place from the price to the bed. Best mattress we have ever stayed on. We will be returning at some point and look forward to it until we do. Highly recommend.
