Crackheads, hookers, shootings. Rooms NOTHING like pictured on listing. Checked in, went to venue, came back our keys would not work and all of our belongings were thrown out on the walkway in the rain. Someone else in our room. Ate all of our food and they went through our belongings and took my spare car keys from bag. Cops called. Man removed and we were moved to another room where we had to carry all belonging to and from room every time we left the room. Staff “had no idea how it happened” and were less than willing to find out how someone had done this. There was a camera that showed our room but would not review to see when and who our room was accessed. 3 available channels on tv that didn’t work in either room upon entry. Midnight at that point so trying to find another hotel in an area not familiar with was not an option. Attaching pics of original room and where we ended up. First room was supposed to be a king, it was NOT! No coffee station, broken and stained furniture. NOT A SAFE PLACE TO STAY. Parking was barely possible. Small SUV and not enough room to pull into or out of parking space in 1try and I can park a dump truck almost anywhere so it’s not my driving or parking ability in question. Having to sleep with a knife under my pillow every night bc I feared for our safety. What was supposed to be a relaxing fun filled weekend turned into 2 people with PTSD and exhausted from lugging belongings 7/8 times just to leave the room without worry of theft 0 stars!

I have a long list of dislikes (not in any particular order): -No soap dish in the bathtub area -Tub faucets runs-can't shut off -No cold water-sink faucet -No hangers in the closet -We booked a smoking room. There were no ashtrays. We asked for two ashtrays. They said they do not have any. We were brought a candle holder to use. -It was advertised that there would be coffee in the lobby. I asked how I could get into the lobby to get the coffee (the door is locked). She said that we haven't offered coffee since the pandemic. -No toilet paper holder -I couldn't connect to the Wifi even though I obtained the password from the front desk. -There is no phone in the room so you can call the front desk. I had to call the hotel using my cell phone. -The outside stairs to the second floor are extremely treacherous. -I went to turn on the TV with the remote. The TV didn't turn on. I checked the remote. There were no batteries. I called the front desk on my cell phone. She checked the drawers and found two. I had to walk to the office to get them. -We only had one working lamp. The other lamp had no bulb. -I was told that they do offer ice. I would need to come to the window and they would buzz us into the lobby. The next morning, my husband went to the window to get ice for our cooler for our perishables. He was told that she would not let us in to the lobby until Noon. It was 9:00a and we had to leave for the race track. -No space to continue.

The entire property was a massive construction site. The photos online did not match the rooms or facility. In August, the heat was on in the small registration area. The first room given to us had exposed electrical wires on both sides of the head board and the sink was held up by wood boards. The second room's AC unit has a ripped electrical cord, exposing the wires. The fridge was full of dead bugs. The dresser was missing the front panel. A MOUSE kept rubbing from the bathroom to the other side of the bed. The entire area smelled horrible. And we were told no refunds for any reason. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Do not , I repeat do not stay here ! It’s like staying at the bates motel …when I arrived I was given a room 221 it had no door lock ,there was no telephone , mold in the tub and even on the rags and towels ..I was told I couldn’t be refunded because I booked online instead I was given a different room 105 which wasn’t completely an upgrade but compared to the dump I was offered I guess I had to settle . I didn’t feel safe nor comfortable

2nd floor held up by makeshift support beams. Bathroom door looked like they shot "Here\'s Johnny" clip.

Deteriorating outside, filthy and disgusting inside. Drug addicts swarming the place. Didn’t stay more than 2 minutes before handing the key back in… we decided it was worth wasting what we payed to get another hotel.

I came to spend the night at Pennhurst Asylum and the scariest part of the trip was this hotel. The front desk lady was quite nice but this seems to be the one block in a quaint little town that was very run down with highly suspect folks hanging about all night. When we opened the door we were hit with the overwhelming smell of cat urine, like the room had been used to house a feral cat colony for at least six months. It was so bad we had to go out to buy air freshener just to tolerate it (pro tip if you have to stay here, the Circle K nearby for some reason has a large array of air fresheners). The room seemed clean enough but the fixtures were old and everything was falling apart with sloppy updates and repairs. The toilet seat came off, the tub/shower was too suspect to even use (hence the eco friendly rating, we did save water!), and then there were the beds. My friend's bed sounded like a dumpster being kicked every time you got in or out or moved (least you be able to roll yourself out of the hole in the middle), and mine sounded so much like thunder that we kept checking outside to see if it was raining. There are stains and cigarette burns on the bedding. We woke up in the morning to a shirtless guy trying to beat a rat to death in the parking lot. We would have absolutely gone anywhere else if anything in the area was open - it definitely wasn't worth the $100+ a night we paid for it... Maybe about $30 if you bring your own bedding and a big bottle of febreeze.

Unpleasant stay, you get what you pay for. Non working outlet, hair, bugs, unclean.

THE ROOM WAS FULL OF ROACHES THE BEDS WITH BED BUGS ROOM SMELLED LIKE NICOTINE ASH TRAY AND DOOR DIDNT LOCK WELL. WE REQUESTED OUR MONEY BACK AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT YET. WE HAD TO RESERVE ANOTHER ROOM AT COMFORT INN AND SUITES.

The staff were nice but they have cockroaches and thats a no for me.

The stay at America's Best Value Inn was okay but nothing to brag about. My television was out for 9 hours. I got a friend to fix it because they took to long. There was no stopper to fill the bathtub. I had to get one myself. I am disabled and i cant take.showers due to the fall risk. The other thing they put me on the second floor it was hard getting up the steps since i have MS. The motel just needs to show that they care about the guests and they didn't in any way. I am disappointed. I stayed there a lot over the years and this was my worst experience.

Shower was nice. Toliet was new. Worked well. Lighting was kinda dingy in room. Bed frame was noisy and made a kind of metal pop sound when you sit or move on bed. Pillows were flat and not pillows. My neck is killing me. Complete junk sleeping situation but no bedbugs. Saw a few roaches in bathroom first thing in the morning. Place was in walking distance of lots of cool spots. Nice place all in all and staff is friendly.

Worthless, I will never comeback again, it’s terrible situation by all means, the beds are in a very bad condition

All the above n no heat either! Staff needs to be trained for cxs service I would definitely fire Kay she was the rudest front desk person. Our power to our room went out 4 time again at 315 I'm the am no heat 1e degrees outside!

Upon my arrival there were people hanging out the back doors , the police had to be called on the property, to get the group of people of the property, there was trash on the top floor outside the room, I did not stay at that motel, I left and book another facility at 12 am in the morning, Horrible place, the building needs to be renovated, furniture is outdated, Bad experience

We arrived at the room and immediately booked a different hotel. Most everything in the room was broken and the surroundings felt extremely unsafe.

The afternoon staff who checked us in was really nice, but the staff in the early morning was not very friendly. The police were out three times that night. People are heard talking really loud, smoking outside of the rooms and the smell was coming into our non smoking room. There were roaches, furniture outdated, headboard damaged.

Run down and gross. Did not feel safe staying here. Very noisy, did not get any rest as other guests were up all night making noise. Our room smelled of pot as well and it wasn’t from us!

No heat.. no hot water…shady people walking around..felt unsafe..we didn’t even stay. We checked in, went for dinner, came back and checked out. Not worth 90 dollars a night. Not even worth 50 in my opinion.
