come cose positive sicuramente la pulizia e lo spazio della camera oltre che la posizione centrale. Da rivedere assoutamente la colazione al bar, l'insonorizzazione delle camere e il fatto di non potere chiudere la porta dall'interno. Anche il parcheggio segnato come di sponibile, essendo in una zona molto centrale della città, si fatica a trovare ed è sempre molto costoso. Inoltre un grosso problema è il check-in fatto on line e disponibile solo dopo le ore 17, davvero troppo tardi.

Location in centro, attorniata da ristoranti,. Stanza non grandissima, ma comoda e fornita del necessario. Buon bagno con bella doccia. Ambiente piacevole e ben riscaldato. Unica nota negativa, la mancanza di parcheggi gratuiti nelle immediate vicinanze. C'è n'è uno vicinissimo ma a prezzi folli anche di notte( €2.20 ora)

Établissement bien situé à Monza, Propre mais le gros soucis c'est qu'il avait été choisi pour sa piscine et quel déception quand le réceptionniste me dit qu'il n'y a pas de piscine, surtout que ça faisait 1h qu'on attendait que la réception ouvre sous 40°... D'ailleurs sur hôtel.com c'était indiqué 17h30, sur la porte 18h et il n'est arrivé qu'à 18h30, impossible de le contacter, le numéro indiqué sur la porte n'était pas attribué...

The room is spacious, nice, with plenty of light. I booked the suite on the last floor, under the roof. However... there is no proper air conditioning, only a mild cooling coming from fancoils (floor mounted). They are very efficient at hearing, but cooling is not within their reach. The place is right in the heart of Monza, in a pedestrian area. There is a nearby parking (less than 5 minutes walking), but if you do have luggage it may be a bit trying. Amezing for winter, not so enjoyable in Summer, hence the title of the review.

However... there is no proper air conditioning, only a mild cooling coming from fancoils (floor mounted). They are very efficient at hearing, but cooling is not within their reach. The place is right in the heart of Monza, in a pedestrian area. There is a nearby parking (less than 5 minutes walking), but if you do have luggage it may be a bit trying. Amezing for winter, not so enjoyable in Summer, hence the title of the review.

It was a very nice place to stay in Monza. Situated in the centre of the town not far from the railway station. Very clean and warm, with all the necessary conveniences like a hair-dryer, an electric kettle, WiFi, towels/soap, ecc. Moreover, it was a really pleasant surprise to find out that the Locanda provided with a free breakfast in the nearest bar. Really satisfied with my choice!!

The space was large with several view windows, and the view was overlooking the plaza and church bells. The location was excellent although it was difficult to find when we arrived at the plaza. The check in instructions were clear although it felt strange to let ourselves in without speaking to a receptionist. We didn’t see anyone for a day or so, except for a housekeeper who was very sweet. I felt that the bedcover was soiled. I didn’t want to use it so I looked around in drawers and found a clean pressed white sheet that I triple sheeted the bed in; that felt better. I thought I might be charged for it but so far I have not been. Room service was provided, we received clean towels etc.

Locanda San Paolo is a fantastic hotel. The location is perfect being right in the city centre, with bars and restaurants on the doorstep and only a 5 minute walk from Monza train station. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The rooms are always kept clean. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Monza!

Die Locanda San Paolo ist ein angenehmes Hotel. Die Lage ist absolut zentral, direkt im Stadtzentrum, mit Bars und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Bahnhof ist 10 Gehminuten entfernt, es gibt aber auch einen Bus. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind stets sauber. Es wurde angefragt, ob das Zimmer gemacht werden soll oder ob neue Handtücher benötigt werden - eine sinnvolle Sache. Die Rezeption ist nur morgens (7.30 bis 12.00 Uhr) und abends (17.00 bis 20.00 Uhr) geöffnet, was ggf. etwas unpraktisch ist. Der Aufschlag von 10 bzw. 20 Euro, wenn man nicht erst um 17.00 Uhr ins Zimmer möchte, ist doch sehr fragwürdig. Ein ziemlich italienisches Frühstück (Kaffee, Croissant, Saft) wird in einem nahegelegenen Café serviert. Ein Wermutstropfen in den ansonsten sehr positiven Eindruck war allerdings das Bett. Die Matratze machte den Eindruck, dass sie schon vor ein paar Jahren hätte ausgetauscht werden müssen (merkbare Sprungfedern). Wer diesbezüglich empfindlich ist, hat vielleicht ein Problem. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel aber durchaus weiterempfehlen.

I enjoyed my stay here. The purpose of my trip was to visit Milan. The Locanda San Paulo is not quite in Milan, but it’s not too far using public transport. If you stay right across from the Duomo, you will pay 5 times what Locanda charges; I’d rather save some money and just travel a bit on a train to get to the tourist areas. My main disappointment is that the second floor, where my room was located, had zero WiFi for the first few days. However, the issue was eventually fixed once I told the front desk. The breakfast at the cafe was pleasant. It was my first time ever eating breakfast outside and the weather was lovely. The jam croissants were incredible…the best thing I ate on the trip by far. The room was clean and very quiet. You could hear a pin drop. But the one exception was Friday night. It was NOT Locanda’s fault at all, but right outside the hotel a band played VERY loud music until 12:15 am. Again, I am not blaming Locanda. But whoever is in charge of things like that in the city should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen. I checked out today, Saturday, so I have no idea if that’ll happen again tonight. I hope for the guests’ sake it does not.

I can’t believe how beautiful this room was. Amazing location and a lovely breakfast nearby. Carolina the reception lady was very helpful. The suite we stayed in was absolutely stunning.

Have stayed here many times over 10 years .. great location .. I would just suggest maybe they check the facilities all work , as TV was not fully working and whilst it did get fixed just a little inconvenient for us and staff. Air con was set too warm and staff had to reset lower for us as could not be changed in the room. Having said this I would still happily stay here again.

La chambre était vieillotte, assez mal insonorisée par rapport au bruit de la place. Notez bien les horaires du check-in: 17h-20h. Même si vous prévenez que vous arriverez plus tard, 10€ vous seront facturés, alors que personne n'était là pour nous ouvrir, seule une enveloppe nous attendait.

Place is amazing: in the heart of Monza (pedestrian area) where everything is handy. The room i choose was simply stunning. The only downsides: Check in pre-checks: too much information and complexity. Arrival: also very complex, having forms to fill in anew. If it had a keypad with access pin texted the day before it would be the best place hands down.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the La Conda San Paulo. It is small charming boutique hotel in the Center of Monza. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. I originally reserved a regular (one double bed) room for one night. When my airline schedule changed just three days before arrival I reserved another day and at that time the only room available was a suite so I took it and it was a beautiful room. There were four small Juliet balconies and I had great views. I was prepared to move to my regular double room for my second night (as reserved) but they upgraded me to the suite for the second night so I didn’t have to change rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing I didn’t know before arrival is that their Reception is open only in the morning (7:30 AM to noon) and evening (5:00 PM to 8:00 PM), so when I arrived I had to wait to check in. I stayed Jan 24 and 25, 2023. Their hours may be different in busy season. My wait wasn’t bad because there were shops and cafes and public seating areas in the square just in front of the hotel. I loved my stay there and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We arrived around 15.00, called the phone no. to ask if the reception was only open at 18.00. Instead of the owner to say that for the early checking 15.00, was 20 euros per room, he offer to open the door. We left our bags there and went for shopping. Just to find out on the checking out, that we needed to pay 20 euros per room for the early checking. Note: no body in the reception at 15.00, no welcome, for 20.00euros!!!! A ripoff. Beside the noise outside all night, overall not recommeded.

Établissement bien situé à Monza, Propre mais le gros soucis c'est qu'il avait été choisi pour sa piscine et quel déception quand le réceptionniste me dit qu'il n'y a pas de piscine, surtout que ça faisait 1h qu'on attendait que la réception ouvre sous 40°... D'ailleurs sur hôtel.com c'était indiqué 17h30, sur la porte 18h et il n'est arrivé qu'à 18h30, impossible de le contacter, le numéro indiqué sur la porte n'était pas attribué...

Locanda San Paolo is a fantastic hotel. The location is perfect being right in the city centre, with bars and restaurants on the doorstep and only a 5 minute walk from Monza train station. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The rooms are always kept clean. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Monza!

We really enjoyed our stay at Locanda San Paolo in the heart of historic Monza. Its location is walking distance to the train station, as well as the Palazzo Reale and park, Duomo, shops and cafes. The only drawback is the noise from the cafes at night that lasted until 1:00 am. The service was exceptional- Olena and Matias were so helpful as were the owners who helped us when we first arrived and made sure we had a taxi for our transport to the airport. We would love to come back and stay again!

Die Locanda San Paolo ist ein angenehmes Hotel. Die Lage ist absolut zentral, direkt im Stadtzentrum, mit Bars und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Bahnhof ist 10 Gehminuten entfernt, es gibt aber auch einen Bus. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind stets sauber. Es wurde angefragt, ob das Zimmer gemacht werden soll oder ob neue Handtücher benötigt werden - eine sinnvolle Sache. Die Rezeption ist nur morgens (7.30 bis 12.00 Uhr) und abends (17.00 bis 20.00 Uhr) geöffnet, was ggf. etwas unpraktisch ist. Der Aufschlag von 10 bzw. 20 Euro, wenn man nicht erst um 17.00 Uhr ins Zimmer möchte, ist doch sehr fragwürdig. Ein ziemlich italienisches Frühstück (Kaffee, Croissant, Saft) wird in einem nahegelegenen Café serviert. Ein Wermutstropfen in den ansonsten sehr positiven Eindruck war allerdings das Bett. Die Matratze machte den Eindruck, dass sie schon vor ein paar Jahren hätte ausgetauscht werden müssen (merkbare Sprungfedern). Wer diesbezüglich empfindlich ist, hat vielleicht ein Problem. Place is amazing: in the heart of Monza (pedestrian area) where everything is handy. The room i choose was simply stunning. The only downsides: Check in pre-checks: too much information and complexity. Arrival: also very complex, having forms to fill in anew. If it had a keypad with access pin texted the day before it would be the best place hands down.

In pieno centro di Monza, parcheggio comodo e al sicuro a pochi metri (a pagamento, ma ci sta). Camera con spazi giusti, bagno spazioso e pulito (solo qualche difettino nelle fughe della doccia), in generale rapporto qualità/prezzo notevole!

In the heart of Monza, this place is so fun and convenient. Note that Google Maps is not accurate. Search instead for Piazzo San Paolo and you will be there! Restaurants very close by. Several choices. 10 minute walk to train station. About 1.25 hour walk to Autodromo for Grand Prix. Everyone working at Locand0 San Paolo is very nice and will go out of their way to help make any kind of arrangement. Grazie!

Location in centro, attorniata da ristoranti,. Stanza non grandissima, ma comoda e fornita del necessario. Buon bagno con bella doccia. Ambiente piacevole e ben riscaldato. Unica nota negativa, la mancanza di parcheggi gratuiti nelle immediate vicinanze. C'è n'è uno vicinissimo ma a prezzi folli anche di notte( €2.20 ora)

come cose positive sicuramente la pulizia e lo spazio della camera oltre che la posizione centrale. Da rivedere assoutamente la colazione al bar, l'insonorizzazione delle camere e il fatto di non potere chiudere la porta dall'interno. Anche il parcheggio segnato come di sponibile, essendo in una zona molto centrale della città, si fatica a trovare ed è sempre molto costoso. Inoltre un grosso problema è il check-in fatto on line e disponibile solo dopo le ore 17, davvero troppo tardi.

I enjoyed my stay here. The purpose of my trip was to visit Milan. The Locanda San Paulo is not quite in Milan, but it’s not too far using public transport. If you stay right across from the Duomo, you will pay 5 times what Locanda charges; I’d rather save some money and just travel a bit on a train to get to the tourist areas. My main disappointment is that the second floor, where my room was located, had zero WiFi for the first few days. However, the issue was eventually fixed once I told the front desk. The breakfast at the cafe was pleasant. It was my first time ever eating breakfast outside and the weather was lovely. The jam croissants were incredible…the best thing I ate on the trip by far. The room was clean and very quiet. You could hear a pin drop. But the one exception was Friday night. It was NOT Locanda’s fault at all, but right outside the hotel a band played VERY loud music until 12:15 am. Again, I am not blaming Locanda. But whoever is in charge of things like that in the city should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen. I checked out today, Saturday, so I have no idea if that’ll happen again tonight. I hope for the guests’ sake it does not.

It was a very nice place to stay in Monza. Situated in the centre of the town not far from the railway station. Very clean and warm, with all the necessary conveniences like a hair-dryer, an electric kettle, WiFi, towels/soap, ecc. Moreover, it was a really pleasant surprise to find out that the Locanda provided with a free breakfast in the nearest bar. Really satisfied with my choice!!

Muy buenas instalaciones y excelente ubicación! En pleno centro histórico de Monza y muy cerca de Milán. La chica de la recepción muy amable, habitación limpia y grande. Lo único que no nos gusto fue el desayuno que lo sirven en una cafetería junto al hotel, y es tan solo un croissant con jugo y cafe, adicional a que las chicas qué atienden lo hace de mala gana. Estamos recorriendo Italia por 1 mes de norte a sur, nos hemos quedado en 7 hoteles y este es el único con un desayuno tan básico, deberían mejorar eso.

A pleasant room above a lively square in the beautiful town of Monza. A really neat small hotel setup, the the staff are all very pleasant with room cleaning done every day. A simple breakfast is provided at a nearby cafe on the square and makes for a really nice way to start the day. If we can we'd love to come back! Late check in was very easy, although a fee is involved, this is fair as the rest hours of the owner/reception clerk are disturbed by this.

la struttura è in ottima posizione ed è ottimamente mantenuta. qualche piccolo miglioramento può essere apportato, dalla qualità della colazione in convenzione con il bar: se si deve uscire sceglierei un bar più caratteristico. - non farei sovrapprezzi per un ora di late check out il titolare e le responsabili del ricevimento sono stati/e tutti/e molto gentili. tornerei sicuramente!!!

I love staying here - I stayed 3 or 4 times now - great location . Room I book is lovely and spacious! When I left the reception lady was slightly abrupt for some reason which was odd because usually staff are very friendly- maybe she had a bad day ?! Great for walking and feels nice and safe . Breakfast also at the cafe down the road is nice (part of the booking ) and it’s nice to sit outside and watch the locals .

Die Locanda San Paolo ist ein angenehmes Hotel. Die Lage ist absolut zentral, direkt im Stadtzentrum, mit Bars und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Bahnhof ist 10 Gehminuten entfernt, es gibt aber auch einen Bus. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind stets sauber. Es wurde angefragt, ob das Zimmer gemacht werden soll oder ob neue Handtücher benötigt werden - eine sinnvolle Sache. Die Rezeption ist nur morgens (7.30 bis 12.00 Uhr) und abends (17.00 bis 20.00 Uhr) geöffnet, was ggf. etwas unpraktisch ist. Der Aufschlag von 10 bzw. 20 Euro, wenn man nicht erst um 17.00 Uhr ins Zimmer möchte, ist doch sehr fragwürdig. Ein ziemlich italienisches Frühstück (Kaffee, Croissant, Saft) wird in einem nahegelegenen Café serviert. Ein Wermutstropfen in den ansonsten sehr positiven Eindruck war allerdings das Bett. Die Matratze machte den Eindruck, dass sie schon vor ein paar Jahren hätte ausgetauscht werden müssen (merkbare Sprungfedern). Wer diesbezüglich empfindlich ist, hat vielleicht ein Problem. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel aber durchaus weiterempfehlen.

Amazing location with a large clean room. Heavy rain caused a leak on the stairwell that was being worked on during the stay. The breakfast is very basic so keep expectations in check. Staff were friendly.

-The location was great. Right in between a restaurant and gelato place in the square. About a 15 min walk to the train station -The instructions given for location and how to check in when it was closer to the time were clear and simple -The room was clean and had the simple necessities -A great view over the square from the window 'balcony' -Breakfast wasn't bad. You get tokens which you redeem at a local cafe downstairs - hot drink, cold drink and a pastry / hot sandwich (at time of writing) -I wasn't impressed with the air con. Luckily it wasn't peak summer, so I am not sure if that would have been a problem or not - Staff were pleasant enough *Note: A bell would be rung in the morning as there is a local church or bell tower but we couldn't figure out timings as we found they were so random to figure out. At one point the bell rang really early in the morning for about 2-3 minutes, the next it woudl ring for about 10 seconds, then 30 seconds.
