We had a truly memorable stay at the beautiful Kinsuikan in Miyajima. The property itself is in an incredible location, a very short walk from the ferry with spectacular views. The amenities are excellent and include a complementary streetside coffee bar, as well as a rooftop terrace with free beverages and snacks. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We were lucky enough to experience several different rooms and suites. The suites are spacious and luxuriously appointed. It was wonderful to come home to the Kinsuikan after a day exploring the island and I would highly recommend this ryokan to anyone visiting the area.

桟橋から神社までの間の立地で便利。送迎もあり。レストランもあり食事もよい。お風呂が地下で少し狭いですが、お部屋についてるのは広く、鳥居も見え海も目の前で景色最高でした。朝ご飯も部屋食に出来よかったです。

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Onsen im 4. Stock mit Blick aufs Meer, es war der Wahnsinn. Das Zimmer war groß und hat jeden möglichen Komfort geboten (Massagesessel, verstellbare Betten, Bar). Wir durften uns nach dem Check-in selbst unsere Yukata aussuchen. Es gibt eine Lounge auf dem Dach (toller Ausblick) und einen Loungrbereich darunter, beides läd zum verweilen und entspannen ein. Im Keller gibt es Gemeinschaftsonsen (getrennt nach Geschlechtern), diesen haben wir allerdings nicht genutzt. Sowohl im Erdgeschoss als auch im Loungebreich gibt es freie Getränke. Das schwimmende Tori Tor und der Schrein sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Fährterminal nur wenige Gehminuten und die Seilbahn ist auch fußläufig erreichbar.

Je m'attendais à passer un agréable moment mais ce séjour fut au-delà de mes espérances. Les bains qu'ils soient privés ou publics, la chambre et la salle de bains spacieuses avec une vue magnifique, sans oublier le personnel aux petits soins, ont fait que j'y ai passé l'un de mes meilleurs anniversaires. Merci.

The hotel is very dated. Sink toilet bathroom look depressing. The room we booked did not have the four futon BEDS describes in the Expedia website. There are futons bet not during beds and they have to be arranged every night in the floor by displacing the table that is in the middle of the living room. Food was nicely presented but not at all at par with other Japanese meals we have had in other ryokans, restaurants or hotels. The location is excellent. The island being small it is close to everything sites. The floating tori is being renovated otherwise the rooms facing the ocean would offer a terrific view of the gate.

We had a truly memorable stay at the beautiful Kinsuikan in Miyajima. The property itself is in an incredible location, a very short walk from the ferry with spectacular views. The amenities are excellent and include a complementary streetside coffee bar, as well as a rooftop terrace with free beverages and snacks. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We were lucky enough to experience several different rooms and suites. The suites are spacious and luxuriously appointed. It was wonderful to come home to the Kinsuikan after a day exploring the island and I would highly recommend this ryokan to anyone visiting the area.

A little challenging to get to but once you’re there you understand why. Really beautiful location. Tough to get food at night because most of the restaurants cater only to the daytime tourists which was tough and the ferry only runs so late so you can’t get dinner late and head back. Would suggest two nights at most and hotel should be a bit more proactive about suggesting offsite food options. Staff was nice when we got there and accommodating. Loved the daytime adventures. We had two rooms — one was a great temp but the other was very muggy which we couldn’t figure out how to fix. Nice outdoor tub and massage chair in rooms too.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Onsen im 4. Stock mit Blick aufs Meer, es war der Wahnsinn. Das Zimmer war groß und hat jeden möglichen Komfort geboten (Massagesessel, verstellbare Betten, Bar). Wir durften uns nach dem Check-in selbst unsere Yukata aussuchen. Es gibt eine Lounge auf dem Dach (toller Ausblick) und einen Loungrbereich darunter, beides läd zum verweilen und entspannen ein. The room was in good condition, and the onsen functioned very well. The staff, however, for the first time since our 21 day trip began, were completely without English basic proficiency. So, even the most minor request took too long and was overly formalized (“please have a seat over there, while I work on your request” was sometimes ridiculous and time consuming. Secondly, it’s concierge to help us with restaurant reservations was inefficient and, again because or very poor English language skills, challenging. At least one manager and one desk person needs to speak Basic fluid English. You charge $900+ per night. Find properly skilled professionals.

Amazing place! I highly recommend. Staff is top notch, room was spotless and had every amenity you could want. If you're looking at booking, don't think about it just do it. You'll be glad you did.

We were extremely well taken care of and enjoyed experiencing a more traditional stay. The location was excellent. The service, especially Hurumi were lovely and attentive. The chef did an amazing job making two incredible dinners for us. We loved the roof top bar.

Fantastic location in the heart of Miyajima village. Just know that it's a bit of a walk from the ferry terminal, and part of the path is gravel, so might be a bit rough if you have rolling luggage. On check-out, they offered to drive us to the terminal, which was very welcomed. The hotel was fantastic.

El personal amabilísimo. Las habitaciones amplias y cómodas, el hotel con muchos servicios y amenidades. Excelentemente ubicado, a un par de minutos del Tori de Miyajima. Nos recogieron en el muelle del ferry (sin haber tenido que solicitarlo) y nos llevaron de vuelta a la salida. Ampliamente recomendable.

桟橋から歩いていける距離にあり厳島神社へ行くもよし、表参道通りで買い物するもよしの便利な場所にあるのが魅力で予約しました。夕食と朝食をいただきましたがどのお料理も見ため美しく大変おいしかったです。お料理でお世話になったスタッフさんが感じの良い方で食事の時間が良い旅の思い出になりました。また宮島へ行く機会がありましたら錦水館で宿泊したいと思います。

Wonderful modern Ryokan. Spendy but the service was superb. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Could see Torii from the room. Free drinks and icecreams were nice touch, except Wine was not offered. Just beer, hard liquor and soft drinks

The views from our room were spectacular. The staff were very friendly. Lots of free amenities for the guests. The only draw back was that they did not have options for vegetarian. If you have specific dietary restrictions please let them know in advance so they can accommodate. When I booked the hotel there was no option for me to mention’s dietary restrictions.

A first rate Japanese experience complete with robes, slippers, hot mineral baths, traditional Japanese breakfast, slipping on the floor mats/mattresses. Great rooftop bar with harbor views and free drinks and ice cream. Great location in the center of town on the waterfront. 1) this town has few overnight guests and the bulk of the visitors are day trippers via mainland ferry. The town absolutely closes up by 6:00, not a single bar or separate restaurant remain open. The only places for dinner are the few dining rooms associated with hotels. In this hotel you need to make a reservation during the day so the restaurant can order enough food, if you don’t make a reservation your only other option is a separate less elegant public dining room with a more limited menu.

The hotel also offers all you can eat ice cream, sodas, coffee, wine and spirits while enjoying this on the roof top with impeccable views. We stayed at the Royal Twin Room, Private Bathroom, Ocean View and loved it! Staff were so kind and helpful. Location was perfect as well. There’s also a rooftop lounge with complimentary ice cream, snacks and drinks.
