Great location. Quick walk from everything. Right beside Château Frontenac, toboggan rides and Citadel. Parking is not on site. Closest lot is 2-3 mins walk. Avoid taking large/high vehicle if you can. If parking lot is full, street parking is free between 9pm and 9am, which might save you in a bind. We were on the third (which is actually 4th) floor. No elevator, but if you're fine with the climb, it's a perfect spot. The room is so cozy and very romantic feel to it for couples. The other bonus for me is the coffeemaker was in the room, which I was surprised to see was hard to find in other places. I recommend it.

Prepare alternatives for parking. The hotel only have 3 street parking slots which is first come first serve. Alternative parking is 5 minutes away. If we would have known, we opt somewhere else as we have an elderly person who cannot do long walks. We have to go and bring the car out the parking garage we found to fetch her which is 5 minutes away by walking. Fortunately, we only stayed one night. Hotel itself is charming, great location.

Everything was nearby. The parking is two blocks away at $25. a night plus a $20. deposit for a key to the gate in a church parking lot. Very old building! Small rooms, only one single on first floor all other rooms are up a tiny winding staircase to 2nd and 3rd floor.

Excellent location in 200 year old property. Cleanliness is not great, dust under bed, smelled like smoke. Dusty carpets. Old furniture. Front staff grumpy. Across park from Chateau Frontenac. Easy walk to all attractions in Old Quebec City. If you can overlook the condition off the property it is an affordable stay.

Location is excellent as it is right next to the Frontenac Chateau. There is no parking and the closest parking is about 10 minutes walk near St. Jean st. That was not really a problem for us as we are familiar with the old town. The building is a beautiful old building couple hundred years old at least. I love staying in these buildings. Unfortunately our room was the smallest I've ever seen and this was not our first stay in the area. Bathroom was not too clean and drain was clogged which I reported.

Location is excellent as it is right next to the Frontenac Chateau. There is no parking and the closest parking is about 10 minutes walk near St. Jean st. Ce Manoir a un potentiel incroyable mais est est entretenu au minimum. Personne n’est disponible à la réception d’au plus tard 19 h jusqu’à 9h le lendemain matin. La réception est minuscule et en désordre. Des cheveux d’autres pensionnaires gisaient dans la douche à notre arrivée et le couvre couette autrefois blanc est désormais grisâtre. Pour 300$ la nuit plus le stationnement de 20$, c’est pas donné et décevant

Fantastic location! Great bathroom with excellent shower. They made parking very easy by offering a garage. Housekeeping was prompt. Only drawback: Bedding could use some updating - it's a little dated and the mattress was thin and lumpy. Overall, I would recommend it.

Very quaint, historic hotel with an amazing location. Room location in the attic was a bit rough with the 54 steps and clunking our head on the roof beam, but otherwise a great stay.

We booked the cheapest room because it was quite expensive. There are 3 small rooms at the cheapest price Room 12 was the smallest on the 3 rd floor Our friends were on the 4 th floor which was bigger than ours. They moved to a lower floor, room 8, same price but MUCH bigger and renovated bathroom. So ask for room 8 NO elevator but I guess it said that on their website What was REALLY great was the location! Just a stones throw from the Chateau and Terrasse Dufferin. Walking distance to many restaurants in old town

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Old Quebec. It faces a lovely little park and has a view of the famous Chateau Frontenac. It is quiet, a few blocks away from the busy tourist streets but very close to. the river walk. . And there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The hotel is old and the rooms have character but ours was small with not much room for luggage, toiletries etc. The bathroom was surprisingly modern and nice. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and the hotel’s great location outweighed any inconvenience caused by the age of the building.

Great location. Friendly front desk person with great suggestions for dinner and breakfast. Fun historic Building. The beds were not very comfortable. Suggest new bedding and definately new pillows.

The staff went out of her way to be helpful. We were earlier there than expected and since our room was not ready yet, she suggested another room that was more suitable for my wife. Greatly appreciated. Recommend !!!

The room was much more smaller than we expected with the door almost touching the bed. The pictures did not show the room as that small. The receptionist lady was very rude when we called her because our flush was not working. When it started working after she came, she was quite rude to us asking why we called her even though it was working. Obviously, we would not have called if it had been working. The lady also told us that parking would be free and we can ask for a pass but when we asked the next day, they first said they have no parking available and then callex again to say if we want parking, we have to 25$. Crazy hiked up prices! Overall, did not have the best customer service here but the location was convenient and walkable to every spot on our trip list.

We fond Manoir Sur-le-Cap to be a joy. The staff was very helpful in coordinating a late check-in to accommodate our travel schedule. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and quite close to all the "action" in the upper city.

Very inflexible staff and charging for every small thing possible. Didn’t allow us to park even 5 mins beyond the checkout time (even though we were checking out early at 9 AM) although we parked after 2PM checkin time.

This property is ideally located for visiting Old Quebec. You can see the Chateau Frontenac as well as the Dufferin Terrace from it. It has character which adds to its appeal. We loved the location!

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Old Quebec. It faces a lovely little park and has a view of the famous Chateau Frontenac. It is quiet, a few blocks away from the busy tourist streets but very close to. the river walk. . And there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The hotel is old and the rooms have character but ours was small with not much room for luggage, toiletries etc. The bathroom was surprisingly modern and nice. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and the hotel’s great location outweighed any inconvenience caused by the age of the building.

Very near the action but not in the middle of it. Basically quiet at night. Not many services are offered so I would recommend for a short stay. Although you'll find plenty of services at a short walk distance. Food and drink. I don't know if they offer clothes washing though. I only stayed 2 nights.

Fantastic location right on the Governors Garden and 1 minute walk to the chateau Frontenac which we had a great view of from our room (room 7 Romantique). We had requested 16 or 14 so was disappointed when we were given 7 which was much smaller; too small. But it did have a great view, huge bath for 2, and comfy bed. So overall was great. No breakfast options and surprisingly not that easy to find nearby.

Arrived late at night around 11pm, we were very tired and just wanted too go to bed, first impression of the building and the location was good, but once we weren't into the room we couldn't believe what we saw and smelled, the smell was misty like the towels and the bedspread was wet and now they smell humid. The bathroom was was too small, the toilet was right next too the door and next to the sink with no room to turn around. If you sir on the toilet and try to pickup something Infront of you, you will hit you're head against the wall Infront of you, that's how tight a space it is. The floor was dirty, our socks became dark gray just walking from the bed to the bathroom, the rug is old, dingy and dirty. We were not happy at all, the next morning we contacted hotels.com and expressed our unstatisfation, and they tried to work with the hotel manager, but the manager refused to cooperate. We had to walk out on our second night there and found another hotel to accommodate us. The front door doesn't close right and when you try to open it is a struggle, the door for the bathroom also too low it runs against the floor and hard to open or close. It is sad how neglected this place was. I'm not sure how they got this high rating but it is misleading.
