Property was homely, warm and inviting. Beautiful astetics both in the room and around the property. Pool was lovely and the staff friendly. All around it was such a lovely find for us and very very well priced. We tried to book another nights stay we loved it so much. We will be back.

Wedding anniversary weekend with our kids. There was space for them to run around and even kick a soccer ball around. The boys made friends with another boy when playing soccer. The grounds are beautiful. The weather was amazing. Would have been lovely to have dinner there too. The included breakfast was perfect.

While the rooms are similar to other motel rooms Malanda Lodge stands out with its extensive, well maintained gardens and its breakfast facilities in an impressive main building which also serves as a restaurant and reception centre. Floors were still wet after mopping when we arrived at 3pm, sticky feet for kids. Room ok but no grab rail from basic slippy shower, high step. Continental breakfast was the worst I've come across despite my travels on a budget in Eastern Europe.

I feel terrible for having to state this as staff was very nice and accommodating, but we were BOMBARDED with bugs inside our room all night. The doors to the room are not sealed and hundreds of bugs (large and small) were crawling through the cracks. They flew around the room, crawled around the walls/ceiling, and fell into the bed. It was literally a nightmare for someone like me and I almost left and found another place to stay at 10pm. My husband killed/cleaned as many as he could and I mummified myself in a sheet until as early in the morning as we could leave. I noticed piles and piles of bugs around the entire lodge that morning, don’t know if I had missed them when we checked in or if they’re just cleaned everyday. Even if there are a large number of bugs in the area, the rooms really need to be sealed properly at the very least.

Beautiful grounds and room layout, only problem was with the water pipes in the ceiling having a water hammer issue and we were awoken at 6:30am by the sound of banging pipes because another person was having a shower. The town Malanda is lovely, the Pub is a must for dinner.

We have stayed at this property several times before and we are never disappointed. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The only suggestion is to have a pillow menu as the pillows were too hard and too high.

Perfect staycation! Property is beautiful. The receptionist on check in was welcoming and very helpful, booking us courtesy bus to the pub for dinner. Waking up and seeing such lush greenery outside the patio was very satisfying. The room was cosy. Will definitely visit again.

Wedding anniversary weekend with our kids. There was space for them to run around and even kick a soccer ball around. The boys made friends with another boy when playing soccer. The grounds are beautiful. The weather was amazing. Would have been lovely to have dinner there too. The included breakfast was perfect.

The property was very clean, in good condition and well presented. We had a lovely dinner and drinks in the restaurant and a great continent breakfast which was inclusive of the room rate.

A very beautiful and well-maintained lodge surrounded by greenery. Clean rooms with beautiful decor. Comfortable beds. The rooms are serviced daily. Very friendly staff. We absolutely loved staying here and wished we had stayed longer. Great value for money with a continental breakfast included in the price! Read a lot of reviews saying the breakfast was OK. I challenge you to find accommodation which has the fantastic standard this lodge has, where the rooms are serviced daily, which also includes a continental breakfast for that price, within a 100 kilometer radius. Note our breakfast included: 2 Juices & water, 4 breads, 3 cereals, butter & 3 jams, honey, vegemite, Tea, coffee, milk and fresh fruit, watermelon, honey melon, Cantaloupe, strawberries & blueberries, Would highly recommend this lodge! We did find that 8.30am start for breakfast was a little late.
