All paths within the scenic area are stepped; you will still need to walk to the hotel after taking the cable car. It is not recommended to bring suitcases or large luggage up the mountain; please travel light. Vehicles are restricted from entering the Huangshan Scenic Area; you must take the designated shuttle bus within the scenic area from the transfer center. To ensure the safe operation of the Huangshan cableways, the Yunggu, Yuping, and Taiping cableways will undergo annual equipment maintenance in batches. The cableways will be closed during the maintenance period; please plan your trip accordingly. Closure dates: 1. Taiping Cableway: November 24, 2025 – December 8, 2025; 2. Yuping Cableway: January 4, 2026 – January 28, 2026; 3. Yunggu Cableway: January 29, 2026 – February 13, 2026. Given the large area of ​​the scenic area and the long time required for sightseeing, the ticket checkpoints for hiking trails will close at 3:00 PM. After 3:00 PM, all hiking trail ticket checkpoints will implement an "exit only" policy, and no further entry will be permitted for hikers. Reservations must be made before travel; please ensure the identity information on your reservation ticket matches the identity information of the person entering the park, and enter the park according to your reserved time slot and direction of entry. During the Spring Festival Golden Week, the opening hours of the scenic area, transportation transfers, and cable car operations will be announced separately. Operating hours may be adjusted and optimized depending on the situation, such as during cultural and tourism marketing activities or when reservations are high. Tiandu Peak requires a real-name reservation system; please learn more and make reservations in advance through the "Huangshan Tourism Official Platform" WeChat mini-program. Lianhua Peak is currently closed for rotational rest and is not open to tourists. Temporary closures due to extreme weather such as thunderstorms, strong winds, snowfall, and freezing temperatures will be announced separately.
