The location was great, right on the beach, the staff were really friendly, there was something sharp in the pool that cut two of our kids feet and our room didn’t have hot water, otherwise the room was great, Family room with 2 queen or king beds, nice breakfast, variation of pancakes, omelettes, scrambled eggs, toast, juice tea and coffee, super affordable

The first thing you notice is how run down the reception and restaurant area are. But it was a budget hotel. If bohemian is your thing , it is quaint.

The staff are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The ocean and beach views are spectacular and even better when sitting in the infinite pool. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and massages all in walking distance. I highly recommend Tamarind Beach Bugalows 😊🏝️🌺

Værelset var beskidt og kun overflade rengjort.. armaturet på badeværelset sad ikke fast og det var rigtig beskidt undt om vasken.. faktisk hele badeværelset generelt var ulækkert.. der kom kun to små stråler ud fra bruseren som gjorde det umuligt at tage et bad.. så man skulle stå i det ulækre badekar og forsøge at skulle sig.. Der var også pletter på langerne og de kom ikke og gjorde rent eller skiftede håndklæder.. poolen var også klam og vi brugte den ikke fordi den var beskidt. Billederne er taget ud fra en video jeg optog fordi det var ulækkert der..

When we arrived I said we were checking in and he then said my name, not a good sign we must of been the only check in that day. At reception a mouse ran past. Walking to room the path was covered in caterpillias. The bathoom stunk and toilet was not clean had poo on it. There was mould on the walls The safe was not secured to anything, could pick it up and walk out with it. The doors were not secre once locked could still move them to open. The light flickered. The pool was murky and had a closed down deralict pool bar. Was no vibe at or surrounding hotel Did not end up staying Was refused a refund

We lucked out staying here. The property is older, needing a bit of upkeep. But as far as the rooms go, they were great, the bed was comfy. We had a beautiful view of the sunrise and the ocean. The pool lounges were comfortable and rarely full. The staff were so friendly and helpful, arranging trips and tours for us. We would recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing holiday.

Staff tried their very best to make you feel welcome- 2 young men are there from dawn to dusk. Property in need of upgrade- just getting very tired. Towels, sheets etc need to be replaced as they are old, and the rooms aren’t cleaned during your stay. Small water provided on first day but no replacements.

Around hotel was not clean and smell.location was end of street and bit far to the beach. Breakfast was included but not enough…as better than nothing. We bought return boat ticket but it was open ticket and did not know we had to book a departure time one day before but we booked in the morning of departure day by hotel staff. Hotel staff said booking was okay so that we checked out hotel and went to the port but staff of boat company told us that it is fully booked today and next one will be tomorrow morning…….we already checked out hotel and it was 4pm…. Fortunately, we could find a available seat other boat company but paid almost same amount as return ticket.

Naja, wir hatten ja die Bewertungen vor der Buchung gelesen und hatten jetzt keine großen Erwartungen, aber einige aus unserer Gruppe sind schon an ihre Grenzen gekommen und wollten am ersten Tag gleich wieder abreisen. wir haben dann doch eine Woche durchgehalten, aber man muss schon mit einer verfaulten Einrichtung, Kakerlaken, Holzwürmern, Muff und vielem anderen Getier umgehen können. Hier heißt es durchhalten und lieber in die schöne Gegend fahren. Das Personal ist wirklich super nett und hilfsbereit, kann bei dem schlechten Zustand der Anlage aber auch nicht viel ausrichten. Frühstück, sehr spärlich (1 Pancake)- wir sind dann woanders hingegangen. Fazit: Nur für Leute, die nicht zimperlich sind!!!!

Vi leide en bungalow som viste seg å ha to separate soverom, med privat svømmebasseng mellom. Helt perfekt for oss. Noe slitte bad, men en nydelig beliggenhet med utsikt mot ha havet. Ingen strand, men 100m til Secret beach. En liten betonghylle førte til en klippe med liten lagune. Veldig idyllisk. God mat og vakker utsikt fra restauranten ved siden av. Vi var veldig fornøyd med rom og opphold. Veldig hyggelig og søt betjening. Vi gir hotellet 7/10.

The staff are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The ocean and beach views are spectacular and even better when sitting in the infinite pool. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and massages all in walking distance. I highly recommend Tamarind Beach Bugalows 😊🏝️🌺

Our few days here made the entire holiday to Bali worth it. Don’t go here if you are a snob. Backpackers delight. Clean, safe digs with air con & breakfast too. Who needs hot water anyway?? We travelled with our 2 teenagers & our biggest regret was not booking longer

Staff tried their very best to make you feel welcome- 2 young men are there from dawn to dusk. Property in need of upgrade- just getting very tired. Towels, sheets etc need to be replaced as they are old, and the rooms aren’t cleaned during your stay. Small water provided on first day but no replacements.

Around hotel was not clean and smell.location was end of street and bit far to the beach. Breakfast was included but not enough…as better than nothing. We bought return boat ticket but it was open ticket and did not know we had to book a departure time one day before but we booked in the morning of departure day by hotel staff. Hotel staff said booking was okay so that we checked out hotel and went to the port but staff of boat company told us that it is fully booked today and next one will be tomorrow morning…….we already checked out hotel and it was 4pm…. Fortunately, we could find a available seat other boat company but paid almost same amount as return ticket.

The location was great, right on the beach, the staff were really friendly, there was something sharp in the pool that cut two of our kids feet and our room didn’t have hot water, otherwise the room was great, Family room with 2 queen or king beds, nice breakfast, variation of pancakes, omelettes, scrambled eggs, toast, juice tea and coffee, super affordable

Vi leide en bungalow som viste seg å ha to separate soverom, med privat svømmebasseng mellom. Helt perfekt for oss. Noe slitte bad, men en nydelig beliggenhet med utsikt mot ha havet. Ingen strand, men 100m til Secret beach. En liten betonghylle førte til en klippe med liten lagune. Veldig idyllisk. God mat og vakker utsikt fra restauranten ved siden av. Vi var veldig fornøyd med rom og opphold. Veldig hyggelig og søt betjening. Vi gir hotellet 7/10.

Definitely a budget hotel, food was good , breakfast which was included, consisted of a single egg omellette or scrambled and 1 slice of bread, pretty average stuff, No tv , which is a good thing, unlessyou want one. No fridge. No glasses or coffee and tea facilities, no housekeeping, no hot water on first day. This place has huge potential with investment and some care. The first thing you notice is how run down the reception and restaurant area are. But it was a budget hotel. If bohemian is your thing , it is quaint.

Naja, wir hatten ja die Bewertungen vor der Buchung gelesen und hatten jetzt keine großen Erwartungen, aber einige aus unserer Gruppe sind schon an ihre Grenzen gekommen und wollten am ersten Tag gleich wieder abreisen. wir haben dann doch eine Woche durchgehalten, aber man muss schon mit einer verfaulten Einrichtung, Kakerlaken, Holzwürmern, Muff und vielem anderen Getier umgehen können. Hier heißt es durchhalten und lieber in die schöne Gegend fahren. Das Personal ist wirklich super nett und hilfsbereit, kann bei dem schlechten Zustand der Anlage aber auch nicht viel ausrichten. Frühstück, sehr spärlich (1 Pancake)- wir sind dann woanders hingegangen. Fazit: Nur für Leute, die nicht zimperlich sind!!!!

The location and ocean view is all these bungalows have going for them. We were place up many flights of stairs along pathways to get to our room at the far back of property. Many things were sadly lacking, drinking glasses, coffee mugs, coffee, tea. Towels were with holes, duvet cover on bed had holes. Bathroom tub was filthy. Balcony was the only thing going for this 2 bdrm bungalow. Breakfast was included, what a joke! 1 egg scrabble and toast with coffee had to pay for juice. My friend had banana pancake 1 pancakes and coffee. We only lasted 2 breakfasts and went somewhere else as that wouldn't even be enough for kids. Pool area was beautiful and clean and very enjoyable. Only 1 extremely small complimentary bottle of water on arrival for each person and the rest you have to buy.

I definitely expected something much different from the photos. I was disappointed with my room and I guess should’ve read every little detail of the property. I left the night early. I was not enjoying my time. I will also note that the property seems to be under construction and it was very creepy for the first two nights. Will not be staying again. If you have low standards for your stay, it would be OK. Just not what I wanted or needed.

Tamarind Beach Bungalows was a wonderful stay. Close to other restaurants with a nice kitchen on site. The bungalow was spacious and cool after a day in the sunshine. The pool was spacious and relaxing. On the beach where we could watch the waves while relaxing. Staff were kind and engaging. We would stay here again.
