The property is well kept & the house is beautifully decorated. While I did not use the pool during my stay, I did use the hot tub & it was a lovely escape after being in the cold river training all day. Also, you are provided with actual keys for your room. I love that feature. The breakfast was also very tasty.

Wow! The perfect place for a romantic getaway! The grounds and rooms are just gorgeous with spectacular views. The breakfast was the best! So delicious! We just loved the pool with a waterfall and slide. Every touch was amazing - super comfy bed, robes, arriving with the mini fridge already cool, wine glasses and pool towels ready. Our only regret was not booking another night. Can’t wait to return!!

I really loved the property. I loved the balcony off our room with beautiful views. The room was very nice and the bed comfy . It was good location for us. Only thing that would have made it perfect was a pool that was warm enough to swim in. It was freezing! So I could not use. But the hot tub was lovely

What a gem! This place has everything you need for a weekend away. There was a private entrance to the room with a porch set up with chairs and a table overlooking the unique pool, featuring a waterfall, seating area and built in rock slide. Off in the distance the american river with rolling hills. Inside the room didnt fall short either. With robes

Our room was stunning. We walked out our patio door and stepped into a beach, pool, waterfall and incredible views of the valley. We loved our three-day stay. The breakfasts were also delicious and delivered to our door.

It was so unique in so many ways. The property was beautifully landscaped and easy excess to all areas. There were so many places to relax and enjoy the views. The pool and spa were unbelievable! The “beach” was wonderful and a nice touch to the surroundings. Breakfast was delicious and very filling. Bella Vista was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. We loved our stay! A couple of notes: the vaulted ceiling and draperies they have up there aren’t being dusted/vacuumed, but if they were we’d have literally nothing to say except how much we loved our stay! Make sure to reserve the pool and spa area!

An amazing property with a beautiful view. They have definitely put a lot of love into the house and done a great job with decorating etc. The check in was also very easy and seamless. The room did look clean, however, the sheets definitely need to be updated and there was a slight smell of mold. The breakfast was also a bit disappointing, for one it was served at 9 am which for us personally is way too late but I know that’s just our preference. The ingredients they used for the breakfast were lovely and fresh but it was a very very small serving and with all the reviews raving about the breakfast I think we just expected more.

A short but wonderful stay, with an amazing view! The location is great, and so nice and quiet. The bed was cozy, with lots of pillows, and soft sheets. And the room was clean, and had everything you need. I was pleased to see that the soaps provided were cruelty free. The inn keepers were very kind, and accommodating with our plant-based breakfast request, which was very yummy! Very impressed with our stay.

This property is beautiful and well-maintained. Just lovely throughout, and the grounds are wonderful. We saw deer wander through, a resident peacock (but never heard him!), a gorgeous red-shouldered hawk all from our balcony. Each morning at 9:00 they leave a basket outside your door with a lovely breakfast - VERY nice! The only suggestions I might have would be replacing some of the antique/vintage furniture (Buena Vista Suite) with more practical/comfortable items. A nice ruby red love seat and two comfy armchairs would still fit the theme but offer some more comfort to guests. Overall, though, it was a wonderful time away.

Such a great time we had in Coloma, visited the state park then made our way to Bella Vista BnB for the night. It's a quaint and cozy place to stay. Each room is decorated with it's own, unique style, ours was the world adventurer/traveler (I think). We didn't even have to leave our room for breakfast, it was brought up to us in a basket and was very tasty, the perfect amount of food! We met the owners who were wonderful people, so courteous and easy going. The reason I gave a rating of 4 instead of 5 is because of the traffic noise we could hear from the nearby road. Other than that, we had a great stay!

I loved everything about this place and did not want to leave (stayed until checkout time). My room’s (Arbor) door/wall was a sliding glass door with key lock. The room is right above the beachy backyard/pool and had an amazing full view of a forested valley. The 10ish stairs up to door are narrow and kinda steep. Large bathroom, TV, great AC, mini fridge, coffee/tea maker, iron/board, comfy chairs, folding tables. Slept really well both nights. Breakfast (2 for 2 nights) were served right at 9am on sweet patio table and both delish and filling. Sorry, no pic of room but it was spacious and cozy at same time. Total privacy. BnB was always quiet when I walked thru.

Beautiful bed and breakfast with spectacular views. Very close to mining museum and downtown Placerville. My room was elegantly furnished, bed super comfortable. Bella Vista feels like you stepped back in time, with modern amenities. I will definitely be back.

I was in town for a wedding and Bella Vista was the perfect stay. The rooms are unique, breakfast was different and amazing each day, and I felt safe in the property. The atmosphere and views can’t be beat!

What a nice, hidden gem! We loved our stay, and the pool/relaxation area overlooking the valley was so peaceful. We wish we could have stayed a week! The property is close to several wineries which is very convenient so you don’t have to drive far. Just what we needed for a little getaway! The only issue we had was that we did leave a breakfast allergy recommendation but it wasn’t adhered to. Otherwise everything was easy and we will be back!

This is a property designed for B&B enthusiasts; every room has its own porch for enjoying the view. Rooms are unique, interesting and comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious and well-equipped. Breakfast comes in a basket and is elegant and tasty. Proprietors are wonderfully helpful and accommodating. Terrific stay!

From checking to breakfast they didn’t miss a beat . We were notified about the smoke of the continuing fires in advance so we surely did appreciate that . It was surely not as bad as I thought it would be and we had an amazing stay ! My partner and I were celebrating our three year anniversary and we could not have asked for a better spot to celebrate and add to our wonderful memories together.

From checking to breakfast they didn’t miss a beat . We were notified about the smoke of the continuing fires in advance so we surely did appreciate that . It was surely not as bad as I thought it would be and we had an amazing stay ! My partner and I were celebrating our three year anniversary and we could not have asked for a better spot to celebrate and add to our wonderful memories together.

A short but wonderful stay, with an amazing view! The location is great, and so nice and quiet. The bed was cozy, with lots of pillows, and soft sheets. And the room was clean, and had everything you need. I was pleased to see that the soaps provided were cruelty free. The inn keepers were very kind, and accommodating with our plant-based breakfast request, which was very yummy! Very impressed with our stay.

What a nice, hidden gem! We loved our stay, and the pool/relaxation area overlooking the valley was so peaceful. We wish we could have stayed a week! The property is close to several wineries which is very convenient so you don’t have to drive far. Just what we needed for a little getaway! The only issue we had was that we did leave a breakfast allergy recommendation but it wasn’t adhered to. Otherwise everything was easy and we will be back!

Such a great time we had in Coloma, visited the state park then made our way to Bella Vista BnB for the night. It's a quaint and cozy place to stay. Each room is decorated with it's own, unique style, ours was the world adventurer/traveler (I think). We didn't even have to leave our room for breakfast, it was brought up to us in a basket and was very tasty, the perfect amount of food! We met the owners who were wonderful people, so courteous and easy going. The reason I gave a rating of 4 instead of 5 is because of the traffic noise we could hear from the nearby road. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Absolutely wonderful stay! So peaceful and relaxing, my Husband and I really needed a getaway. We loved the perfect basket breakfast delivered to our room every morning. The view from the property is breathtaking, overlooking the Coloma Valley and American River. I highly recommend this place for those wanting to truly relax.

This place was just at Oasis and very close to the wineries and historic museums. It was a 20 minute drive to downtown Placerville. Some of the wineries have deals for those staying at Bella Vista so that was a wonderful surprise. The views alone were worth the trip. And breakfast was delicious

me and my fiance wanted a nice relaxing weekend away and we love apple hill. we just randomly found this place and loved the views so we booked the monta vista suite. it was roomy and comfy with a fun little surprise. the pool was perfect durring the hot day and the views were to die for. i will say the foliage is a tad over grown from the pictures but other than that we had an amazing time. the cute little breakfast was a perfect starter to our day!!! and we enjoyed the movies and games selection. would 100% stay here again. ot to mention its like a 5 minute drive to the river.

Beautiful bed and breakfast with spectacular views. Very close to mining museum and downtown Placerville. My room was elegantly furnished, bed super comfortable. Bella Vista feels like you stepped back in time, with modern amenities. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful property with lots of places to sit outside of your room without feeling crowded with other guests, clean and comfortable room, great view from balcony, great breakfast, great location near where the gold rush started and finally, very peaceful. We loved it!

Lovely stay at this bed and breakfast! Gorgeous view of the American River valley and delicious breakfast. Less than 5 minutes' drive from American Whitewater Rafting and the Gold Discovery Museum!

An amazing property with a beautiful view. They have definitely put a lot of love into the house and done a great job with decorating etc. The check in was also very easy and seamless. The room did look clean, however, the sheets definitely need to be updated and there was a slight smell of mold. The breakfast was also a bit disappointing, for one it was served at 9 am which for us personally is way too late but I know that’s just our preference. The ingredients they used for the breakfast were lovely and fresh but it was a very very small serving and with all the reviews raving about the breakfast I think we just expected more.

This is a lovely place to stay, with beautiful grounds, outstanding views, lavish accommodations and ample amenities. It would be nice if some sort of breakfast option was available for early risers (9am is a bit late) and if there was a little more flexibility for dietary restrictions.

The property is well kept & the house is beautifully decorated. While I did not use the pool during my stay, I did use the hot tub & it was a lovely escape after being in the cold river training all day. Also, you are provided with actual keys for your room. I love that feature. The breakfast was also very tasty.

I was in town for a wedding and Bella Vista was the perfect stay. The rooms are unique, breakfast was different and amazing each day, and I felt safe in the property. The atmosphere and views can’t be beat!

We stayed for one night at this darling bed and breakfast located in a secluded area in the mountains of Placerville. Our room was comfortable and had the most amazing view of the surrounding valley. The bed was comfortable and we had wine glasses and a wine bottle opener to enjoy our treasures picked up at local wineries that day. Their pool area is amazing! Such a gorgeous spot, very clean all built into rocks with a water slide, waterfall and a hot tub. There's plenty of lounge chairs and even sand has been brought in to make the experience even nicer. We ended up getting pizza and enjoying our dinner by the pool with gorgeous views. We had to leave earlier than breakfast time the following morning, so I reached out to the B&B manager, and they brought us our basket earlier so we could enjoy on our patio before we left. Fruit, toast, bacon, eggs and juice. It was lovely. I would absolutely stay here again and as a travel agent, will definitely recommend this property to my clients.
