Fireside Motel

Comfortable, clean, very pet friendly

This is a pleasant but dated hotel that offers secure parking by the shore. The rooms are clean and comfortable and staff is eager to serve. The hotel is approximately 1 mile from downtown Yachats. That said, the hotel offers limited services. Their coffee is not available until 7:30 am. There is no breakfast. Other than your room, there is no central area for guests to gather. The registration area doubles up as a gift shop with limited processed food. Would I return? I think so because I was there for outdoor activity and I would hope that the hotel would improve on the coffee maker in the room (it is small and when one pours it, it still spills) and they would add some paper plates.

I love staying here! The pet friendly rooms are great! The staff is great. You can’t beat the view and location!

Great location

As always, the room at the Fireside was spotless and well stocked. It was a rainy night so we ate in...I love that the room has a little kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave and dishes...and chose a free dvd at the gift shop to watch in our room. A perfect, cozy night.
