We had a fantastic stay here! The owners are very nice, and were happy to provide suggestions for wine bars, shops and restaurants. They even made our dinner reservations for us. Free parking is available a short walk away, and you can walk to pretty much anywhere in town from this centrally located inn. Our room was large (two bedrooms!), clean and comfortable. Our one regret is only planning one night in Montepulciano. Next time, we’ll plan on a longer stay is this charming town and would happily stay at Vicolo dell’Oste again.

A great location and excellent service from the owner himself. Parking is free but can be a bit tough to figure out. All in all a fine establishment and I fully recommend staying there.

The owners are very friendly and nice. The location is right on the main street (No Trafic Zone), next to restaurants, wineries etc., so it's very convenient. Because it's on the street, there was noise from people, from time to time. The bed was a bit small, for my taste and NO AIRCONDITION, so it was hot during the night in the room itself. It was a specially hot week, so it felt like that... It's really good value for money! Service was great, hotel's parking is very important and they provide that, ncie room with saloon and small kitchen... Recommended!!!

Location was fantastic, and the hotel was as cozy as a hotel in a medieval town should be :) People in charge made us feel part of them, welcoming and very interested in our comfort. They know what they are doing, kudos for that! Maybe other hotels are similar in terms of beauty, but service is what makes the difference. Notes: parking is very close to the hotel, very convenient.

This property was great. It was conveniently located, close to restaurants and shopping, and also walking distance to parking. The owner was very nice and even made dinner reservations for us. The room was actually an apartment with refrigerator, small kitchen area, couch, and dining table. It was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Ottima posizione nel centro storico, abbiamo soggiornato nella mansarda cosi il nostro cane ha avuto molto spazio per muoversi. Ottima pulizia e soprattutto ospitalità. Cosa non scontata e da sottolineare, animali ammessi, e se incontrano i proprietari un biscottino lo ricevono sempre.

Ottima posizione nel centro storico, abbiamo soggiornato nella mansarda cosi il nostro cane ha avuto molto spazio per muoversi. Ottima pulizia e soprattutto ospitalità. Cosa non scontata e da sottolineare, animali ammessi, e se incontrano i proprietari un biscottino lo ricevono sempre.

From the moment we stepped out of the taxi until we got in the hotelier was welcoming, friendly and made sure we had everything from our room to places to eat and drink. On top of that the rooms were comfortable, large in size, beautifully decorated, quiet, cool. The bathroom with jetted tub was particularly nice! Location was excellent with many food and wine options nearby. Will definitely be back for a week next time!!

The offsite breakfast was a very affordable and abundant selection from options. Free parking available with this apartment nearby was very convenient.

The stay at this property was incredible! The husband-wife duo who run this quaint bed-and-breakfast right in the heart of the town of Montepulciano were so welcoming and offered so many wonderful suggestions for great meals and wine tastings within walking distance. I also loved the amount of space in my room, and it overlooked the main street, which allowed for a fun people-watching experience! I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Montepulciano!

The hotel was centrally located and the proprietors -- Luisa and Giuseppe -- were absolutely wonderful. They went out of their way to help us in any way they could -- from reataurant recommendations to finding us drivers from Florence airport to their hotel and then from Montepulciano to Naples. We couldn't have done it without them. Wonderful people!!! Grazie!

A lovely B&B in the heart of charming Montepulciano, it’s located close to all the town’s attractions and restaurants. Our hosts Luisa and Giuseppe went out of their way to help us get there (the train-bus connection can be tricky) and to find transportation during a train strike. If you’re looking for a special place to spend a few days in heaven, this is it.

The entire stay was amazing! Because of our late connections and arrival, Giuseppe picked us up at the bus station! Luisa was so helpful with transportation questions. Highly recommend.

Giuseppe was a wonderful host! He is welcoming, helpful, and provided recommendations for dinner & wine tastings. The location of the property couldn’t be be better! There are several view points which are quick to access and a popular breakfast restaurant with view and patio seating right across the street. We loved our stay and would happily stay here again.

Nice place, good service. It's in a historic part of town and isn't easy to get to by car, but is worth the trouble. Right near everything, including a wonderful art nouveau style cafe that's practically across the street. Good service. The only complaint is you could hear other guests thumping around above, but this is a small, residential style building, so that's something you'd expect. Montepulciano is a great historic town.

A lovely B&B in the heart of charming Montepulciano, it’s located close to all the town’s attractions and restaurants. Our hosts Luisa and Giuseppe went out of their way to help us get there (the train-bus connection can be tricky) and to find transportation during a train strike. If you’re looking for a special place to spend a few days in heaven, this is it.

Parking was hard to find. Hotel was in town with much shopping and dining near by. Stairs to go up are steep. Room had all we needed and was clean.

The owners are very friendly and nice. The location is right on the main street (No Trafic Zone), next to restaurants, wineries etc., so it's very convenient. Because it's on the street, there was noise from people, from time to time. The bed was a bit small, for my taste and NO AIRCONDITION, so it was hot during the night in the room itself. It was a specially hot week, so it felt like that... It's really good value for money! Service was great, hotel's parking is very important and they provide that, ncie room with saloon and small kitchen... Recommended!!!

We had a fantastic stay here! The owners are very nice, and were happy to provide suggestions for wine bars, shops and restaurants. They even made our dinner reservations for us. Free parking is available a short walk away, and you can walk to pretty much anywhere in town from this centrally located inn. Our room was large (two bedrooms!), clean and comfortable. Our one regret is only planning one night in Montepulciano. Next time, we’ll plan on a longer stay is this charming town and would happily stay at Vicolo dell’Oste again.

Giuseppe was a wonderful host! He is welcoming, helpful, and provided recommendations for dinner & wine tastings. The location of the property couldn’t be be better! There are several view points which are quick to access and a popular breakfast restaurant with view and patio seating right across the street. We loved our stay and would happily stay here again.

This property was great. It was conveniently located, close to restaurants and shopping, and also walking distance to parking. The owner was very nice and even made dinner reservations for us. The room was actually an apartment with refrigerator, small kitchen area, couch, and dining table. It was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Very convenient location. The apartment we had was well appointed, and Giuseppe was very helpful booking a restaurant after making recommendations of dining options. The offsite breakfast was a very affordable and abundant selection from options. Free parking available with this apartment nearby was very convenient.

Louisa the manager was terrific. She took the time to help us with directions, recommendations for dinner and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I’d highly recommend this property.

Excellent experience, owners fantastic at helping us with tours and dinner. Parking is unique but owners provide great instructions with pictures. Incredible to stay in town over night!

Our host was wonderful providing his recommended restaurants and info on Cantinas (wine cellars). Room was huge, beds comfortable, clean bathroom with a nce shower. Definitely recommend.

Bed & Breakfast Antico dell'Oste is located in the historic center of Montepulciano, a beautiful and ancient Tuscan hill town. There areany restaurants, wineries, and boutiques nearby. I had a wonderful tour of the historic De'Ricci winery and tasted some marvelous Vini Nobili de Montepulciano. The owner of Antico dell'Oste, Giuseppe, was very kind. Between my broken Italian and his partial English, I managed to figure out thatvI should have driven directly to Parking Garage 6 (P6), not through the Limited Traffic Zone, P6 is only a five-minute walk from the B&B. Prepare to carry your bags up two or three flights of stairs, since there is no lift. Also, note there is no air conditioning, which made it very difficult to sleep in the current severe heat wave, even with fans blowing constantly. My room was modern, spacious, and stylishly renovated. However, the name "Bed &:Breakfast" is inaccurate; there was no breakfast. You need to eat out. Giuseppe should change the name to Locanda instead.

We had a wonderful experience ! The rooms were quaint, clean and in the Peter t location to walk to everything and enjoy the beautiful town of Montepulciano The innkeepers were there each day to assist with anything we needed and recommend restaurants and sights to explore 10/10 ! Excellent

Uma coisa que muito me preocupou antes de ir foi com o estacionamento. Contudo, seguindo as orientações do Giiseppe, foi tranquilo achar o estacionamento P6 (só botar no waze). Fiquei em um apartamento familia, com dois quartos, um banheiro e uma sala. Ficava no primeiro andar, sem elevador, mas com poucos degraus pra subir, é tranquilo. Estava tudo limpo e é bem espaçoso. Logo no check in os proprietários nos ajudaram a fazer uma reserva em um restaurante mto bom que infelizmente esqueci o nome. A dona inclusive foi mto gentil, pois voltei ao restaurante para comprar uma água cerca de 1 hora depois e ela simplesmente nao aceitou que eu pagasse. Com relação a hospedagem foi tudo ok, minha decepção ficou mais com a cidade em si, como eu estava vindo de Sam Gimignano ficou dificil a comparação. Montepulciano tem grandes subidas e ladeiras, a praça fica no alto, mas fora isso não há mto mais oq ver.
