Pool was out of service, hot tub was pretty much the same! Light switch in bathroom faulty electrical loose in wall and had to wiggle switch to get to work! Toilet was a rocking chair and beer caps on the floor beside the bed from previous guest. All the issues with this stay I was pleasantly surprised on how comfortable the bed was. Not very much for a breakfast option but they had something!

A double queen bedroom was booked, but got 1 queen bed in a very small room. Pool and hot tub were closed for my entire stay. Disappointing to my kids as there wasn’t a lot to do.

If you were the person that I dislike most in this whole world, I would not invite you to say at the Budget inn. There is one man who runs the whole building but maid service breakfast and clerk. The pool has been down for unclendliness for over a year and a half. Be ready travelers horrible stay.

\The pool was cold, the hot tub was nroken, some at the front desk did not speak English, coffee pot was nroker, I reserved a handicap room (bot insurance to mahe sure i got this< I did NOT, ftrr brealfast was toast, peanut butter, box cereal-no milk, no nothing!

Decent rooms! Clean, didn't see any bugs. Plenty of towels provided, and even a bath mat, which not all hotels provide. Perfectly decent place to rest overnight! The breakfast was pretty sad, it was toast and cereal and instant oatmeal. There was a mini-fridge with labels for yogurt and frozen waffles and pancakes, but they were out of yogurt and there was just one packet of frozen pancakes left. The good thing: multiple options for coffee, creamers, and juice. No decaf though. The hot tub was not very hot, but it was better than none.

Pools broken even though its advertised on the sign out side. Couldn't use hot tub because they had not checked chemicals. Rooms are old and WELL used. Furniture kind of dirty and decrepit. Carpets dirty. I put my shoes on to walk from bed to bathroom. Would not walk in the room without my shoes My wife wouldnt sleep in the bed. She put her sleeping bag on top and slept in that. Bathroom floor trim falling off and mold in behind it.

DON'T DO IT!!! Oh it was a HORRIBLE place (think flop house) and I felt terrible for even taking my family there. If it hadn't been so late we would have left. It's dirty, stank like cigarettes and dogs, and noisy. Boogers (or something) on the walls, filthy mattress, bathroom too disgusting to shower in. I didn't even take my shoes off because I didn't know how filthy the carpet was. We didn't do the breakfast because after the state of the room I didn't even trust the cereal they probably had. The pool and hot tub were too disgusting to use. The only thing positive was that the staff was friendly.

Not sure if my room smelled of pet odor or body odor and some kind of spray mask odor. There was something running down every wall. The night stand had drink rings on it, the lamp had a film of dust and crust. The microwave was discussing on the outside wasn’t about to look inside. The bathroom sink had something spilled in the countertop. The stool needed clean. The tub spout and shower head had so much lime build up I was surprised they worked. Despite that it was 101° outside the air was not on but the window that had human and animal prints all over it was open. Ppl were just sitting around in the parking lot. I was worried about my car. Was gonna take photos but could get out of there fast enough.

The hotel itself smelled musty. The tub, sink, and bathroom floor had hair. The tub had brown scum along the inside, did not look like it had been scrubbed clean. The lining from floor to tub was torn about 4in off. Shower curtain needed to be bleached or thrown out because it was stained so bad. The brown blankets had big holes in them. There was an excessive amount of dust in the room. Very limited breakfast.

The place smelled horrible, the hallway smelled like pet urine, the room not quite as bad. Luckily, I had a bottle of Febreeze in my truck to spray the room down. The shower had hairs in it, the tub was very badly stained. The bed sheets appeared dirty/stained so I asked for a new set of sheets. The front desk man was very polite and nice, he got me a new set of sheets. When we took off the old sheets, I noticed some blood stains on the mattress pad. I requested a new one but he didn't have one to fit the king so we put a queen size one on it. The mattress seemed pretty new, it was comfortable but I would never stay here again. My wife was mad at me for getting such a disgusting room.This is my 2nd bad experience with a Budget Inn, I will never stay at one of their properties agian.

The staff was really lovely and friendly. But the room was dirty and everything in it was so so old. One lamp shade literally fell off the lamp because it was just so old and disintegrated when I turned on the light. The beds were not comfortable - again - old.

This hotel was filthy!! Dirty bathroom/shower, grimy walls in the room and bathroom, dirt and hair on the floor, under the bed had a used cup and trash, the chair was dirty and stained and the comforter on the bed clearly hadn't been washed in a while. I checked out after one night and didn’t get a refund for the 2 nights I didn’t stay.

Staff were friendly. Nice pool for small family to use. Beds were older than me and uncomfortable and toilet screamed. And people with dog above us were incredibly loud, probably the animal jumping on and running around, but staff asked them to keep it down and it improved.

I guess the best way to put it would be you get what you pay for. The facility is old and run down. Non-smoking room smells like smoke. It definitely needs upgrading. Nice people however.

The staff were excellent. The hotel is older and an update to the blankets and chair in the room would be of great value. The water pressure in the shower and bathroom was excellent. Overall, I would recommend it.

The owner is so unbelievably friendly and helpful. We both have some disabilities and did see the point that this hotel does not have an elevator. So, first of all we were put on the 3rd floor and he had the desk clerk change is to the 2nd floor (the layout of the hotel is up and down, not level). Then he saw we were struggling with getting our luggage up the stairs, told us not to worry about it, and the next thing we knew he had taken all of our luggage to our room for us, even opened the room door for us. The hotel is very clean, but is a little outdated. All of the staff is extremely friendly amd helpful as well. There is plenty of on-site parking and easy access to many area businesses.

Hotel staff and manager were yelling at eac h other the lobby. Employee was using fowl language. Very dated. Only reason for 2 stars vs 1 was the manager gave us a room with 2 beds even though we made a mistake and reserved for 1

Imade and paid for a room with 2 beds, I paid in april 2023 for august 2024 at $125 a day When I get there last week the man in charge wanted me to paid $136 extra so I could get the room. I refused and get some help with Expédia. Some one told me the rooms arenot that clean an smell cigarettes

And management was price gauging, charging is $100 over the reserved price. Even to people that had already paid. 0 stars for this hotel, some people coming out complained room smelled bad and had to keep windows open, thru the day and night. Not recommended.

honestly felt like i was gonna get kidnapped or murdered. sounds of back at like 3 in the morning and banging noises on windows that sounded like someone was trying to break in. probably one of the most scetch places i’ve stayed at but also one of the cheapest

Cheapest hotel in gillette, you get what you pay for though, there was hair in quite a few places in the bath, and the bathtub's anti slip mat was disintegrating. The staff are pretty alright though, and its a very easy walk to the greyhound bus stop.

For the price it was a good place to stay. It is old and dated.....needs some maintenance. Bed wasn't real comfy, but wasn't horrible either. Could use a little better cleaning, but again, not bad for the price. Staff was very friendly. Location is good

Stair access to rooms. That being said, these are new owners working with an older property. My room on the second floor was ok. I heard people who'd been on the first floor day it smelled. Considering the low part and location I think it was acceptable.

Pool was out of service, hot tub was pretty much the same! Light switch in bathroom faulty electrical loose in wall and had to wiggle switch to get to work! Toilet was a rocking chair and beer caps on the floor beside the bed from previous guest. All the issues with this stay I was pleasantly surprised on how comfortable the bed was. Not very much for a breakfast option but they had something!

I absolutely love staying at the budget inn. The staff are always friendly and I love how it’s pet friendly. This is my go to place every time I’m in Gillette. If you’re looking for a comfy bed a small breakfast and pool that isn’t going to break the bank, then this is your place.

The hotel was ‘cheap and cheerful’ which is what was expected. When it came to breakfast time the cheerfulness was gone. The breakfast itself left a lot to be desired, seriously. But there is an obnoxious old drunk that is living there, he was dressed in his pyjamas being in everyone’s face and spoiling the peace. The staff simply left him to it. Before we left he even tried to hit me up for $10. The management really need to do something about him, he isn’t good for business.

\The pool was cold, the hot tub was nroken, some at the front desk did not speak English, coffee pot was nroker, I reserved a handicap room (bot insurance to mahe sure i got this< I did NOT, ftrr brealfast was toast, peanut butter, box cereal-no milk, no nothing!

Decent rooms! Clean, didn't see any bugs. Plenty of towels provided, and even a bath mat, which not all hotels provide. Perfectly decent place to rest overnight! The breakfast was pretty sad, it was toast and cereal and instant oatmeal. There was a mini-fridge with labels for yogurt and frozen waffles and pancakes, but they were out of yogurt and there was just one packet of frozen pancakes left. The good thing: multiple options for coffee, creamers, and juice. No decaf though. The hot tub was not very hot, but it was better than none.

The hotel was very clean. We loved the soft sheets. It was nice for the price. I read online that the breakfast wasn’t great, so I brought instant oatmeal and instant coffee. That worked well, as they had a big tub of peanut and Nutella for patrons to share. That was pretty gross. We took our own pillows. We slept well.

Our room smelled like a wet dog. The sink drained very slowly there was no stopper in the sink. The window wouldn’t open. The pool was out of order. Looks like it’s been out of order for a while, completely dry. Yet. they still had a sign on the outside. That said the pool was functional. Ice machine was also broken. I didn’t realize that what they considered the 1st floor was basically a walkout basement-littlle to no natural light. Towels an sheets and other bedding were dingy and old looking. Chair in the room had tears in the fabric. When I moved the chair to access the window and air conditioner/fan in my attempt to air out the room, there was fruit loops and popcorn under the chair. I would’ve asked to switch rooms due to the smell, but when I walked on the other floors looking for the ice machine but they either smelled like smoke or dampness… I did not ask to change rooms as I feared getting something worse. We did not do the breakfast. Positive thing the shower was hot and worked well, curtain was proper sized for the shower/tub. The location is great. Just needs a major update, I would suggest if allowing pets have tile or laminate flooring, might help with the smell.
