We stayed to celebrate NYE & for that did its job , room was only small & cold on arrival but soon warmed up when heater turned on , breakfast next morning was good & fresh , as for parking we parked in side road about 5 minutes walk away up the hill , all in all did its job but one or two nights would be enough as would need more room

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have a great cafe and breakfast is included in your stay. You can park at the railway station close by and take a shortcut to the property. Room was lovely. You need to be able to go up stairs.

Stayed one Saturday night in room number 7, booked as 2 person room but felt more like 1 person (small bed, one mug). Received text/call on day to let self in, which was fine. Room was cold on arrival but warmed up quickly enough with heater. Managed to street park around corner without any difficulty. Quiet and good breakfast in the morning. Homely feel.

Great place for an overnight stop in Bewdley. Fitted my needs exactly. No good if you’re after an accessible option, but for character and budget absolutely bang on. Staff very helpful and love the subtle connection with the SVR.

Apart from the noise of the traffic in and around the guest house it was a great place to stay unfortunately the nearest parking was either on some estate 2-5mins up the road and in bad conditions not ideal or parking at the Severn Valley Railway which Station it’s self(£4 charge for 24 hour parking) however gates are locked at 7:30pm. Otherwise a nice place friendly staff

The only problem is the parking but you can park at the Seven Valley Railway for £4 for 24 hrs and only a short walk so no worries

Came here because we visited west midlands safari park ,this accommodation is only 5 minutes drive from west midlands safari park ,car parking is in street 2 mins walk away-Maypole Close Brilliant staff ,who were very friendly and welcoming . Jaycee was amazing ,she was happy to help with anything .Breakfast was delicious and my son was given a slice of cake with a candle and the girls sang happy birthday to him . Room cleanliness and standard was overall very good . The only issues were minor things like the bathroom lock didn't work and there was dust on top of the kettle...but that really didn't affect our stay . If ever we return to the area we will stay here again . Thank you so much .

Lovely guest house, we had room 7 downstairs just off cafe/restaurant, quiet and comfortable, small room, more than enough for a night or more. Slept well, bed and pillows comfy and soft, very clean. Parked on the railway station £4 for 24hr, excellent, just a short walk across alleyway. Lovely choice of cakes and other foods in cafe, breakfast was fabulous, full English inc in price. Overall great time and staff were so pleasant and helpful

Communication from the venue was via text, which was helpful for reference on our travel anx to gain access to the building. Once inside the entrance to our room was a little cramped and blocked by a folding bed, but we made it work. The room was clean and we all had a good nights sleep. We had plenty of evening meal choices a short walk away. Breakfast was excellent and my daughter really enjoyed the pancakes. We enjoyed and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

I quite enjoyed my visit to this village, however it was only as a mid-point rather than changing hotels. Food and service was lovely, shame I missed on trying out some of the cake! Breakfasts were good, plentiful and freshly made. Service warm and friendly. It hurts me to say the room didn't quite have the same impact as the business did in general and thus I had to mark down my score. The room evidently hadn't been used for some time, or just hadn't been cleaned; grime evident on the surfaces and kettle lid gave it away. (UHT milk slightly opened and soured!) Not to mention the carpet hadn't been vacuumed in some time; still not done whilst I was there. The bed was in need of new linen, the mattress is passed its best by a long way and the same applied for the floor mat in the bathroom.(ripped and barethreaded at the edges) The door fitting to the shower was as good as it will ever be, but should have a note to tell any occupant about the 2mm gap by the hinge meaning the water will flood out during any showering. I cleaned up and realised afterwards by pointing the shower head more vertically. If it had been priced in accordance with the state it was in, I would have forgiven the above, but at the price offered, it was disgraceful. (Premier Inn is available at these prices for two nights) Im hoping the other rooms were in a better state than 1a, but at least the owners have the impetus to get that room refurbished. Otherwise a friendly stay.

It was lovely to see the steam trains going past the windows but the noise from the road under the bridge was disruptive. We slept well, on comfortable beds and had enough space. The breakfast was tasty but little things (like really dirty sauce bottles and a sticky table) put us off a bit. The staff in the cafe were friendly and helpful.

I wasn't aware checkin was via a code until getting there, which was a bid fiddly. Texting breakfast time didn't seem relevant. The bedroom was cramped with no window. Otherwise, really great, with top location, well done out room and excellent breakfast and cafe space (love the green train theme).

Kayla and Molly were lovely and friendly, well informed about not just the guesthouse but also the local area. The room, though compact, provided everything I needed and was well equipped. A perfect fit for my requirements.

Kayla and Molly were lovely and friendly, well informed about not just the guesthouse but also the local area. The room, though compact, provided everything I needed and was well equipped. A perfect fit for my requirements.

Clean room and good value as it slept the 6 of us. Breakfast was included and they took individual orders for cooked items. A lovely stay for a good price. Great access to Severn Valley Railway and the Great Western pub was friendly and good value.

Great place for an overnight stop in Bewdley. Fitted my needs exactly. No good if you’re after an accessible option, but for character and budget absolutely bang on. Staff very helpful and love the subtle connection with the SVR.

I recently stayed at this lovely B&B and it was a truly exceptional experience. Greeted by a friendly young lady at the coffee shop who went above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcome. She provided me with excellent advice on a safe and affordable local parking, even texted me later to ensure I had found it. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the delicious biscuits, tea, and coffee provided for guests, as well as the plenty of clean towels. The breakfast was an absolute delight, featuring high-quality ingredients. My children loved the fantastic pancakes and delicious apple juice, while my spouse and I enjoyed the best cappuccino we had ever had in the UK, along with freshly toasted bread and bins on toast. It was the perfect way to start our day before exploring the beautiful surrounding area. This B&B is situated in a stunning location, just a short walk from the West Midland Safari Park and the historic Severn Valley Railway. Surrounded by lush green countryside and rolling hills, it's the ideal place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life enjoying and exploring the local area. Came here because we visited west midlands safari park ,this accommodation is only 5 minutes drive from west midlands safari park ,car parking is in street 2 mins walk away-Maypole Close Brilliant staff ,who were very friendly and welcoming . Jaycee was amazing ,she was happy to help with anything .Breakfast was delicious and my son was given a slice of cake with a candle and the girls sang happy birthday to him . Room cleanliness and standard was overall very good . The only issues were minor things like the bathroom lock didn't work and there was dust on top of the kettle...but that really didn't affect our stay . If ever we return to the area we will stay here again . Thank you so much .

Great welcome, comfortable bed but poor facilities in room. Heating unable to control and noisy. Poor sleep due to road noise and inconsiderate guests next door. Disappointed with breakfast quality.

Communication from the venue was via text, which was helpful for reference on our travel anx to gain access to the building. Once inside the entrance to our room was a little cramped and blocked by a folding bed, but we made it work. The room was clean and we all had a good nights sleep. We had plenty of evening meal choices a short walk away. Breakfast was excellent and my daughter really enjoyed the pancakes. We enjoyed and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Check-in was easy and the room was basic but clean enough, although, the shower needed a good scrub. It was lovely to see the steam trains going past the windows but the noise from the road under the bridge was disruptive. We slept well, on comfortable beds and had enough space. The breakfast was tasty but little things (like really dirty sauce bottles and a sticky table) put us off a bit. The staff in the cafe were friendly and helpful.

What a lovely experience! The service was outstanding - lovely friendly staff and breakfast in the morning was delightful. The kids loved the pancakes and the extras!! Gluten free and other options were offered for my sensitive food issues without a problem at all - refreshing!! Perfect cosy place to stay and nice to find somewhere that easily accommodates a family of 5. Room was comfortable and clean. Excellent, will definitely return if we are in the area again 😀

We stayed in room 1 and the double bed was comfortable but my grandchildren could not get to sleep as the bunk beds were uncomfortable, I checked to see what they were talking about and you could feel the springs, maybe some mattress toppers would help. The room was at the front and very noisy from the traffic. The café was closed when we arrived to check in and I was informed they closed early as the weather was to hot (disappointing as we were wanting to eat). Breakfast was very good and the waitress that served us was lovely and a credit to the guest house.

This is our second stay this year. Our room this time was much smaller, myself and my 3 children, 9yo, 12yo and 14yo. Bunkbeds were very squeaky and the top bunk slats were very bendy and a little worrying, I thought my son was going to fall through. Bathroom had weird steps and floor was not completely flat. I reported an issue with the keys on our arrival, messaged the host and had no response. The location is perfect and the breakfast is lovely. All 3 children wanted a hot chocolate, I thought it was a little pricey to be honest. Our room was on the 1st floor, very noisy, it was hot, so we left the windows open, alot of noisy traffic. We always park at the station, its a short walk to the property and costs £4.20 for a day. Checkout was at 10:30am, which we were bang on time with but the cleaning lady was banging on our door reminding us of this at 10:29am. I thought she was very short in temper with us and for my 3 children to pick up on this, said it all.

Room was small but perfect for us. We were a family of 5 and had a double bed, bunk beds and a blow up airbed on the floor - ideal for the one night we were staying. No issue of noise from outside. Room and ensuite was lovely and clean. We were planning on turning up after 7pm and communication was brilliant with all details given on how to get in, where the room, where to park and number if we had any issues. Breakfast in the morning was ok, it was very busy with people staying and locals coming in and deliveries at the same time that our order was lost/forgotten I think, I chased this up after 40mins as I noticed other people who came in after us had received their food, the girls were very good apologised and had ours out within 10 mins. We would happily stay again
