Nice 1860 house, well preserved. Walking distance from the lake and a lot of restaurants and pubs. The owners are very nice and the included breakfast fabulous with plenty of local food and homemade dishes.

We loved our stay here. The Victorian home is charming and lovely outside and inside. Outside is landscaped with pretty plants and trees in the front and back yard. Good parking. Inside the house is tastefully decorated with antique furniture, period colors and interesting items. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed, warm comfortable bed. The shower was great. No noise heard at all throughout the entire evening and night even though the B&B was full. The house is in walking distance to restaurants and the downtown area for shopping and to the lake. The breakfast we were served in the morning was amazing, every bite was delicious with home made jams, pâté, bread, and gorgeous fresh fruits, farm fresh meat and egg - the breakfast alone was worth the stay. The hosts are very pleasant and friendly and bilingual. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Troisième visite à ce gîte magnifique! Salon cosy avec foyer, sofas en cuir, parfait pour relaxer et lire un bon livre. Le Manoir est vraiment très bien entretenu. Les hôtes sont sympathiques et ouverts aux discussions. Les déjeuners sont vraiment excellents! J’ai hâte à demain matin! Il y avait une bonne odeur de cuisson de repas du temps des fêtes dans le petit salon! À distance de marche du bord du lac, marina, des boutiques et restaurants.

We had a great time during our stay. It is a old house but well maintained and beautifully decorated. Benjamin was very helpful and accomodating. We were able to check in earlier and stored our luggage after checking out. The room was clean and comfortable. Caroline is a wonderful chef and the gourmet breakfast was delicious.

This property was in a very good location and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I feel that the rooms were decent size but a bit dirty and need to be cleaned more thoroughly and maintained better for guests. It is nice that breakfast was included but they should offer guests a choice of different breakfast options, all the plates served were mainly breads and croissants, lacking protein, so it wasn’t very filling. Overall it was an alright experience.

Adored our one night stay at the Manoir de la rue Merry. Beautiful bedroom with very comfortable king sized bed and very quiet at night. The piece de resistance was the sumptuous breakfast!!!! oh my goodness...delicious home-made preserves, fresh orange juice, fabulous food!! You will not need lunch after this very generous meal. Hosts are extremely gracious and helpful. Will definitely return when in Magog.

We loved our stay here! We were only in town for one night and this was the perfect place to lay our tired heads. Our room was cozy and the bed was comfy. Breakfast the next morning was amazing!!! The location is perfect - so close to a beautiful park and plenty of dining options. We highly recommend this lovely place.

I would go out of my way to stay here again, just for the breakfasts that come with your stay. Caroline serves a delicious 3-course breakfast every morning that includes pates and jams that she makes herself, and slices of around 10 different fruits artfully arranged on the plate. It's a luxurious and lovely way to start the day. The location is fantastic - walking distance to the main streets for restaurants and shops, and the park. There's a wonderful walking path through the wetlands of Marais de la Riviere-aux-Cerises, and you can loop back along the Rte. Verte 1 walking path to make a great morning walk. The B&B itself has lovely flowers and a wraparound porch to hang out on, and is pretty quiet. The room was comfortable but small, with adequate but not fantastic lighting. The bathroom was small with a stall shower. I was pleased that there was a small fridge in the closet that included a tiny freezer that could keep our freezer pack cold for the car ride back. It wasn't a room to hang out in, but it was clean and neat, and met all of our needs.

The room was wonderful, the home was cozy, the hosts were lovely, and the breakfast was the best I have ever had anywhere. The proprietress is an exceptional chef. She was also able to accomodate my Gluten Intolerance and the food was just as good as the regular. HIGHLY recommend.

We had a pleasant stay. The only exception was communication. Though I appreciate that the primary language in Quebec is French, the owners don't have an excellent command of English. Unfortunately, my ability to converse in French is minimal. I usually like to engage with hosts and other visitors, and unfortunately - that really isn't an option. It would have been better if they indicated that French is the primary language of this B&B.

We had a great time during our stay. It is a old house but well maintained and beautifully decorated. Benjamin was very helpful and accomodating. We were able to check in earlier and stored our luggage after checking out. The room was clean and comfortable. Caroline is a wonderful chef and the gourmet breakfast was delicious.

Tout simplement fabuleux. Premier B&B pour ma fille et elle à adoré " Tellement mieux qu'à l'hôtel" sont ses mots. Le déjeuner est tout simplement sublime, confitures maisons, cretons et que dire de la variété de fruits. Caroline en Benjamin sont, sans contredit, des hôtes parfaits!

Nice 1860 house, well preserved. Walking distance from the lake and a lot of restaurants and pubs. The owners are very nice and the included breakfast fabulous with plenty of local food and homemade dishes.

We loved our stay here! We were only in town for one night and this was the perfect place to lay our tired heads. Our room was cozy and the bed was comfy. Breakfast the next morning was amazing!!! The location is perfect - so close to a beautiful park and plenty of dining options. We highly recommend this lovely place.

We loved our stay here. The Victorian home is charming and lovely outside and inside. Outside is landscaped with pretty plants and trees in the front and back yard. Good parking. Inside the house is tastefully decorated with antique furniture, period colors and interesting items. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed, warm comfortable bed. The shower was great. No noise heard at all throughout the entire evening and night even though the B&B was full. The house is in walking distance to restaurants and the downtown area for shopping and to the lake. The breakfast we were served in the morning was amazing, every bite was delicious with home made jams, pâté, bread, and gorgeous fresh fruits, farm fresh meat and egg - the breakfast alone was worth the stay. The hosts are very pleasant and friendly and bilingual. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The room was wonderful, the home was cozy, the hosts were lovely, and the breakfast was the best I have ever had anywhere. The proprietress is an exceptional chef. She was also able to accomodate my Gluten Intolerance and the food was just as good as the regular. HIGHLY recommend.

This property was in a very good location and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I feel that the rooms were decent size but a bit dirty and need to be cleaned more thoroughly and maintained better for guests. It is nice that breakfast was included but they should offer guests a choice of different breakfast options, all the plates served were mainly breads and croissants, lacking protein, so it wasn’t very filling. Overall it was an alright experience.

I would go out of my way to stay here again, just for the breakfasts that come with your stay. Caroline serves a delicious 3-course breakfast every morning that includes pates and jams that she makes herself, and slices of around 10 different fruits artfully arranged on the plate. It's a luxurious and lovely way to start the day. The location is fantastic - walking distance to the main streets for restaurants and shops, and the park. There's a wonderful walking path through the wetlands of Marais de la Riviere-aux-Cerises, and you can loop back along the Rte. Verte 1 walking path to make a great morning walk. The B&B itself has lovely flowers and a wraparound porch to hang out on, and is pretty quiet. The room was comfortable but small, with adequate but not fantastic lighting. The bathroom was small with a stall shower. I was pleased that there was a small fridge in the closet that included a tiny freezer that could keep our freezer pack cold for the car ride back. It wasn't a room to hang out in, but it was clean and neat, and met all of our needs.

Everything was, quite simply, wonderful. It is in such a convenient, walkable location in Magog. The house is beautiful and the owners were very kind and thoughtful. Our room didn't have a TV, but we didn't need one - we were so tired from sightseeing during the day. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The most amazing part was the breakfast! The food presentation was gorgeous and it tasted yummy too. Each course came with an explanation of what we were eating, much of which (except the fruit) was grown by the owner and resulted in homemade jams, patés, and breads. Simply amazing. Highly recommend staying here if traveling to Magog!
