What a lovely stay we had at the Lakeside. We were just there for one night, but could easily have stayed a couple more. The rooms were beautifully updated. The beds were super comfortable (supportive and cosy), the bathroom was very efficient (spotless, plenty of soft towels, great shower) and well stocked (fridge/coffee area with glasses/cups & keurig). Even chocolates & lavender pillow spray! You also get access to a private beach (accessible thru a convenient tunnel beside the hotel). We also booked a session at the sauna/cold plunge which was fabulous!

We booked a king room and really enjoyed the room amenities. It was nicely renovated and very cute. We also booked the spa which was lovely. It was a private experience and we really enjoyed the sauna, plunge pool and firepit area. Would really recommend it.

Lakeside Villa is located across the street from Skaha Lake. The new owners have done a great job renovating the units. We stayed in the Family Suite. It had a full kitchen with a large stove, fridge, and microwave. The little kitchen was well appointed with everything a cook would need. It also provides grills for BBQs in their lovely green space. Julie, the manager is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We enjoyed several delicious apricots right from the tree. You're just a 5 minute drive to main street, and lots of shopping and restaurant choices. We will definitely stay here again.

Such a gem!! Gorgeous rooms. Set up with everything you need and more. So many nice details. Terry at the front desk was incredible!! She took such good care of us! The private beach access was amazing. We had beach fire one night (they even sell snore kits!) And the on-site Nordic spa is an absolute must!! I will be back FOR SURE!!!

Stayed 2 nights at the Lakeside Villa as I was in town for a trade show. The staff were very good, the room was very clean and surprisingly quiet (as it is right on the highway). The free parking was a bit challenging only because they were full up so it was grab a spot wherever you could. I didn't get a chance to enjoy their BBQ area but it looks like it would be fun. No pool but beach access so you can still cool off on hot days. Overall I would recommend the Lakeside Villa especially if you want a reasonably priced location with full kitchen a right near the beach. It's not a Hilton but is good value for money for sure.

The rooms are nicely renovated and clean and well equipped. Both of the owners that I spoke to were welcoming and very helpful. It's nice to see a small locally owned motel that cares about its guests. There is a nice yard/patio area with seating and BBQs, and it really is a short walk to a very nice private beach area. There's even a small pub (Beach Cider) and a local ice cream place a very short walk away. Lakeside will be my new go to place to stay when I visit my family in Penticton.

WOW This place is special!!! My husband and I were travelling BC visiting hot springs for our 5th Wedding Anniversary and decided to continue one more day away, when i found this GEM. A Nordic Spa was the best way to end our journey. The 4 of u have done some amazing things with this property. The room was Fantastic and the bed super comfy. We stayed in the best room in the house an upgrade to #7. Unfourtunately i didnt get either mens names that worked there but both were very friendly and check in was a breeze. I did steal one of ur key cards its in the mail. The Nordic spa was very special. Private session of 90 mins to enjoy a barrel sauna cold plunge and closed in gazebo with firepit and beverages. I did suggest a hot tub would be the icing on the cake as a sauna is what all the Hot Springs are missing. Thank u for our 1 night stay it was the cherry on top of a fantastic weekend

The private beach is awesome. The motel rooms are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Hotel toiletries and chocolate are nice. Some rooms are dog-friendly, but not all the hotel facilities. It gets difficult to find parking at night, it would be great if each room would have an assigned parking spot.

A true hidden gem! This charming little motel exceeded all expectations. The beach-inspired decor is fresh and welcoming, and the room was spotless with every convenience thoughtfully provided. The lavender pillow spray was such a lovely touch - it made the whole experience feel extra special. The outdoor garden area is a peaceful oasis, complete with a cozy fire table and a swinging chair perfect for relaxing. The woman who checked us in was warm, friendly, and so helpful. And the access to a private beach area? An absolute bonus. We loved everything about our stay and will highly recommend to all our friends!

This property was recently renovated and was spotlessly clean. The gentleman at check-in was very friendly and helpful. We asked for extra mugs and we're given them promptly. My only negative would be that the room was very small. Our group consisted of three adult ladies and there was not enough floor space for all three bags. However, the positives outweigh the negative and I would book there again. Thanks for a nice stay.

Very sweet little room, friendly staff, and definitely a lot of care taken with the property. Biggest detriment was that it was a rainy weekend in June and the AC unit was not enough - I would imagine in the peak of summer that it would not be sufficient for a comfortable stay.

We had a good stay. We had two queen beds. It would have helped if there was a bit more room for stuff. The only dresser was loaded with stuff. Good stuff, like coffee maker, plenty of wine and coffee mugs. Julie was awesome, very pleasant and friendly. We are big coffee drinkers and she gave us as many Keurig cups as we wanted. Room was very clean and nice fluffy towels. The shower had all the typical stuff mounted on the wall with pumps so easy to use.. Windows open which is what we like however there is a good amount of road noise but better than AC for us. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Newly renovated suite. Great sitting area in the back and quite a few special little touches. Really enjoyed the staff super friendly and responsive. Beds were comfortable and very little highway noise. We look forward to our next visit.

Unique. Recently renovated. Nice motel room for the price and location. Beach right across the road. Was hoping for a hot tub. There was a sauna and cold plunge.

Second time staying and will always stay here when in Penticton. Great location, Claude was extremely hospitable and the rooms are comfortable and updated.

Such a gem!! Gorgeous rooms. Set up with everything you need and more. So many nice details. Terry at the front desk was incredible!! She took such good care of us! The private beach access was amazing. We had beach fire one night (they even sell snore kits!) And the on-site Nordic spa is an absolute must!! I will be back FOR SURE!!!

Spent five days there while visiting family. I received a warm welcome and owners were super friendly. I booked the Nordic spa and it was fantastic. I’d encourage everyone to experience it while there.

The hotel is under new management and they are renovating and giving the place a new life. When we drove in, we weren't sure what to expect but it was a great stay. The rooms are a bit dated, but they fresh paint and furnishings and they are very clean. They have added a beautiful oasis where you can go, relax, eat and picnic. They also added a spa which we didn't have time to check out but it's beautiful and will be something we do next time. The private access to Skaha lake beach is not something we knew about and was a wonderful surprise. The new management is super friendly and accommodating. They offered to let us park our car even after checkout if we wanted to spend more time at the beach and we could use thei private bathroom to change. We didn't end up staying that long, but the offer was wonderful.

What a pleasant surprise! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms were beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed, and the yard with games and a fireplace was such a treat. The location is unbeatable, too! Right across from the best beach

I really liked this motel. Updated rooms, private beach across the road. Owners/staff very friendly and helpful. There was some road noise during the day due to my room location, but I really didn’t mind. Amenities are all within a 5-10 minute drive and you’re right off the main highway.

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was great, good beds, clean, lovely courtyard. Only downside was the location if you like to walk you had to walk along a busy highway with no sidewalk for about 300m to get to a more pedestrian friendly location. But if walking isn't your thing this place is perfect. Nice private beach area too.

We spent three nights at the hotel and enjoyed every moment of it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The service was fantastic. The amenities close by were easy to get to and we were able to enjoy the lake on some very hot summer days. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone 💖

Had the owner contact us to make sure we didn’t need a late check in which was much appreciated. Got to chatting with him and he was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Lakeside Villa as your choice of stay in Penticton right across the street from the beach.

Notre séjour était très agréable, la chambre avait une literie impeccable. Le personnel était gentil et à notre écoute. Nos enfants ont été ravis de jouer avec les jeux mis à disposition. À refaire si l’on revenait dans la région. Merci pour votre accueil l’équipe.

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners have upgraded the classic Penticton motel and modernized it. The decorating was fantastic. There was lots of outside seating in the rear of the Villa. Conversation area, numerous patio table and chairs sets. With corn hole game for entertainment. It isn't the modern hotel with the grand lobby, but if you are looking for a homey atmosphere, and a updated take on a blast from the past, I would highly recommend staying here. I would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay, with a comfortable bed, a full-size fridge, and a stove in the first-level apartments. They're right across the street from Wright's Beach. The staff were amazing and accommodating, and the park area was beautiful to relax in and barbecue.

Amazing little motel in Penticton with the friendliest staff. So welcoming. Great private beach, wonderful outdoor courtyard with BBQ, tables and chairs and a nice lounge area. Rooms have a full size fridge and stove, very comfortable king size bed.

This is a clean and functional property. But people need to know the spa facilities are up to $100 and you need to prebook your time slot. We didn’t know in advance. The beach is accessible across the road and quite nice but the road is busy. The rooms have very bright glaring overhead lighting without lamps to soften the feel of the space. But they are clean and functional.
