The beach across the street. I like the location where the hotel is not right in the middle of crowds but not far from them. Parking is a bit tough but still okay. The room was good just too compact with the big dining table. The bathroom for sure need a fan. Customer service is great. Overall it was a good stay. Will for sure comes back!

The parking was not great. Twice we had no place to park.

We stayed three nights. The room was clean and standard. We were pleased to have a refrigerator and microwave. Check-in was easy. The location is excellent, right across from the beach. It was a bit difficult to find parking inside the hotel if you're returning late. There's more parking at the back of the building, but it seems very isolated. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance and activities for children. The price we paid was reasonable considering it's summer.

Old hotel on a busy strip with a great lake view...but... not enough parking spaces in parking lot to park guests ...bathroom tub taps in need of replacement (couldn't adjust temperature so basically couldn't use shower...or bath tub as it was without a plug)... bedroom matress okay, but very old worn-out fold-out couch that had collapsed in the middle (like sleeping in a bed with a gaping hole in the middle)...clean linens and nice pillows, though...

Great Stay! right on the beach. Typical motel no frills. Great Value for Price. Only Negative was our room was above the BBQ station and every night was huge group there partying and BBQ and blocking the Stairs to our room. Was a little annoying and the Garbage bin by the BBQ station was overflowing and not changed in the 4 days we stayed. Hot weather very Stinky

Property was just across the beach. Parking inside the property might be limited specially at night but overall it was a nice stay.

Great little stay. Very busy area and place. The parking lot was challenging at times due to uncaring guests. Coffee makers could use an upgrade.

The motel is old & a bit 'tired'. Saggy curtains etc, But the unit was clean. Towels & bedding very tidy & clean. Wrinkled pillowcases, but they were fresh & clean. Bed & pillows VERY comfortable. Deep bathtub was a bonus. It had definitely been updated. Both wine glasses were dirty, but all other glasses & coffee cups clean. Check-in was all done via text messaging/online. Room number & door code sent by text message. The room numbers were a little confusing at first and my door code didn't work the first couple times I tried it. Then I saw a 'check-mark' icon on one of the lower buttons & tried it after the code. Open Sesame. I did receive a personal phone call the next morning asking how everything was. That was a nice touch. I suggested my confusion with the room numbers & door code check-mark and the gal apologized that I was not sent the 'email' at check-in explaining those details. I guess the person 'checking' me in online & texting forget that step. It turned out alright for me. Parking in the courtyard was well lit & I felt safe getting into my room. The unit was quiet even though I was at the very front of the building facing the street. I slept soundly.

The appeal on the outside was not appealing and parking was limited.

The staff were pleasant, accommodating & helpful. The parking stalls are narrow. The location is ideal.

This motel is filthy. Lots of dust bunnies. The glasses were water stained and finger printed before I touched them. The bathtub sink wasn't draining. The tv cables were disconnected. Silverfish everywhere but I suppose that gave the spiders something to eat. I wasn't expecting much for the price but I always expect clean. Oh and the rooms are not cleaned for the entirety of your stay!

Spanish villa is a great location, unfortunately ownership is either new to the hospitality industry or simply don’t care. The cleanliness of our 2 queen room with kitchenette was awful and we had to ask for dirty footprint marks to be removed from the walls, the bathroom cleaned especially behind the door where there was a MOUND of dirt, dust and sand. The kitchen is stocked VERY basic. We had 3 forks for a family of 4. There was never any room cleaning apart from what we did, no cleaners knocking on the door asking if we wanted our room done and we stayed for a week. This problem could be mitigated with cleaning supplies left in every room. Unfortunately our story is not unique as when neighbours on each side checked in we saw them go to management with the exact same complaints and threaten to leave if it wasn’t up to there standards after the room was requested to be cleaned. One family visiting from Iceland did just that, saw the room and refused to stay in it and booked elsewhere. Location GREAT! Cleanliness needs serious work.

Bed was comfortable. Nice to have a kitchenette if you want to cook. Our bathroom had mould on the ceiling. They have a narrow check-in window. They even phoned me to check in early as they wanted to go home (even though we would arrive well within the window). Office closes early. The worst part was that our room wasn't even cleaned yet. Dirty floor, dirty dishes, hair in sink, towels in the tub and a USED CONDOM ON THE FLOOR IN THE BEDROOM when we went in. Parking is extremely tight so be advised. The biggest draw is being across the street from the beach, so sweet location in the summer (lots of families hanging out in the parking lot).

The entire property is very run down. Spider webs and mold in the room. No cleaning service available

Room was dark and very dated. Bathroom was gross, very neglected. Booked 2 nights but only stayed one as so bad.

The code to open the door did not work, but they promptly provided a traditional key. Lots of silverfish in the bathtub at arrival! Once I washed them down and kept the light on at all times, they never reappeared. There is no fan in the bathroom.

Good for a night's stay. Right across from the beach. Grimy shower so waited until we got home. Had to plug the coffee maker on the ground to reach the outlet, very annoying.

The view of the lake was great Cleanliness of rooms horrible. Staff was unresponsive to our request to clean the room. Sound could be heard. Will not return.

WE HAD A BIT OF AN ISSUE THAT HAD TO GET FIXED. WE SHOWED UP AND THE TOILET WAS BROKEN. THEY COULDN'T FIX IT SO WE GOT UPGRADED TO A DIFFERENT SUITE THAT WAS A BUT BIGGER THAN THE ORIGINAL. WHICH IS GREAT BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL ROOM WE WERE IN DEFINITELY NEEDED TO BE CLEANED BETTER ANYWAYS. THERE WAS A COUPKE SHORT CURLY HAIRS IN THE BATHTUB AND AND THE DIMPLES IN THE LINO WERE FULL OF OLD DIRT. THIS WAS THE THIRD OR FOURTH TIME STAYING THERE AND GENERALLY OUR STAY IS 100%. HOPEFULLY THIS WAS JUST A TEMPORARY OVERSIGHT THEY CAN CLEAN AND NEVER BE AN ISSUE FOR ANYBODY ELSE. THE BEDS KIND OF SINK IN THE MIDDLE AND MAKE YOU ROLL TOWARDS THE MIDDLE. I HOPE YOU LIKE TO SNUGGLE WITH THE PERSON YOU ARE SHARING A BED WITH LOL

it was a great stay, loved the view, my only complaints are the bathroom fan sounds like a jet engine and being on the bottom floor i could hear everything above me, the bed creaking, coughing, walking. it was hard to sleep

The hotel is super dated and very very noisy. You can hear the people in the room beside you and every door slams super loud. The only positive we found was that it was close to the water.

We stayed in the room with two bedrooms and a kitchen with the lake view. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom had a leaking tub faucet and the exhaust fan did not work but that was minor. The knives in the kitchen were extremely dull so I would recommend bringing your own if you plan on cutting vegetables. For the first night we had a parking spot right outside our door which was amazing but the last two nights over-height vehicles snagged our spot which was unfortunate. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice and cool, but we could hear people above us easily. The location was unbeatable. We will definitely stay here again!

You get what you pay for, room was quite dated and walls were very thin, could hear people talking and banging on walls for a few hours before falling asleep. But for the price it checked all our boxes, great location

We had a 1 bedroom suite with a kitchen for a very reasonable price and it felt very spacious. I had a great night's sleep. The bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet. Just one thing that we didn't like was that the bathroom fan was very noisy.

This is a decent beachfront property. Large rooms, easy check in, check out. Great location. Dated but clean rooms.

When we arrived at the motel, the office was closed. There was no answer when I called the contact number posted on the office door. Finally, I went to the Motel website and called the number listed and a lady answered. She was very helpful from that point on. We managed to check in and out with no further issues. There were also some sort of bugs in the room. They looked somewhat like small earwigs but they were something else. I found a few on the floor and in the tub. Otherwise the room was well stocked and clean.

The location was perfect for what we required, however the staff & the over all management of this place was terrible. They were lazy, their hours of operation for an almost full wknd was awful. You had to go to them for everything, now I know that daily room cleaning is in the past but this place is just lazy. Not to mention whoever does their laundry needs to be fired! Pulling long black hair out of towels is not ok! The pillows smelt musty so I went & bought my own. There was dirt/dust bunny’s through out the place & the mirror looked like someone cleaned it with oil. Over all location was what we needed but I would never spend another $ at this dump.

Check in was a disaster. There is nobody at the desk. I was looking around because I had already booked and paid for this through Expedia. Finally a guy comes out who is just staying there, said he is helping the owners. He was the only one on site. The was no record of me booking that he could see so he phoned the owners which also said they had no record of me booking. It was a good thing that I have the receipt on my phone which said the property owner has already received funds. Also the door locks didn't work very well as we have someone enter our room at 2:30 am.

Our visit was really nice. Place was clean, easy check in/check out and parking included. Nice staffs, but was not able to reach anyone at night/ weekend. Walkable from the beach. The place did not mind noise but some neighbours complains when loud. Overall, it was still a nice place and actually planning to book again with them.

Great location in the village

It's kind of like self service motel. The office hour ends at 5 pm but door code will send to you. The area is super, 0 meter to the beach. Room is quite at 2nd floor.

Clean and across from the lake. Parked the car when we got there and didn’t use it until we left a few days later.
