The beautifully renovated room is fully equipped. The bed is comfortable; the sofa bed is squeaky. Bedding and towels were of good quality. The location is top notch. You can walk everywhere. The apartment was excellent. Clean, lots of amenities (coffee machine, washing machine, dryer etc). We loved coming back to the apartment to relax after a day of sightseeing in beautiful Quebec City. One minor thing, and definitely not a deal breaker, but an electric kettle would be useful instead of using a saucepan to boil water for a cup of tea.

Exceptionally clean, impressive array of kitchen items, reasonably good WiFi, good sound proofing. Room was smaller than we expected. Not much space to store belongings (luggage, outerwear, food) and a tiny table that barely works for 2 people to have coffee, but definitely not share a meal. Parking spaces are inconvenient. If you don't get 1 of the 2 spaces in front, you're stuck with 1 of the 3 small spaces (don't bring a pickup) in back and guests can not use the back/side door so it's about a 2 min. walk from your car. We were grateful to have the spot, but wished the side door was usable. The back parking area is a little scary and we encountered a person digging in the dumpster next to the parking area and flinging trash items they didn't want into the parking spots, which made us worry about our car, but everything was ok. We liked not having to check in at a front desk upon arrival.

Pros: good, central location. Good value Cons/issues I faced: online doorkey didn’t work, had to use a 6 digit code instead. Both towels initially provided were dirty (was able to grab a clean towel easily from across the hall). Cleaners tried to enter the room prior to the 11am checkout time, waking me up

This was an amazing apartment, lots of space and it had all the dishes / pots/ pans that a person could need. The only downside was the digital keys - - I lived in fear of my phone running out of batteries and not being able to get back into the apartment.

Lovely place in a great location near enough to the action to walk around but far enough to get a good rest and no noise around. Property managers are beyond responsive and professionals. There is underground parking within a couple of blocks (not noticeable but the hotel people will send you instructions) and also a few spots on site, outside (extra charge, but convenient). they have kitchen utensils, Keurig coffee machine, detergent, salt and pepper ( no oil) and also detegent for washer and dryer. bed and sofa are super comfortable. very homey, modern vibe. Pillard bakery (from croissants and coffe to ellaborated sandwiches, saladas and desserts) a couple of streets up. grocery store is 6-7 blocks away, totally walwable.very clean renovated apartment. board games in the reception area.The only thing I missed was a full body mirror. im short so i could only see myself from the ribs up inthe mirror of the washroom (only mirror in the apartment)

We enjoyed our stay here. It is a very beautiful building and the rooms are very big and clean. If you are looking for a longer period of staying, it also comes with a full kitchen and washer and dryer in our room. Only recommendation would be if you need anything, call directly. They are very helpful over the phone! If you text, or leave notes when booking, they will not respond.

This is a great place to stay with clean rooms, comfortable beds and an ok shower. The hotel was a short walk from all the attractions and the location was very quiet. There was a good range of amenities in the room and the kitchenette was well equipped. The WiFi based room key was a bit of a pain but you got used to it.

We stayed at this property during a recent trip to Quebec City and overall had a pleasant experience. The apartment was very clean and clearly recently renovated, with a modern feel throughout. The kitchen was especially spacious and well-equipped, which made it great for cooking and relaxing. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the main tourist area, restaurants, and shops, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient without needing a car. Parking on the property was also very convenient, which we appreciated. That said, there were a few downsides. One of the room locks had an issue that caused it to beep throughout the night, which unfortunately kept our third guest awake. We also noticed the bathrooms didn’t have fans, which made them feel a bit stuffy after showers. A small detail, but the toilet paper quality could definitely be improved. It's also worth noting that the back alley near the property had some occasional homeless activity. While we didn’t feel unsafe, it’s something to be aware of. Despite these minor issues, the property was comfortable, well-located, and convenient. With a few small improvements, it could easily be a five-star stay.

It was a very clean and pleasant apartment setup, just as described. Staff communicated daily. Just a few minor issues that we ran into - slow drains, which we communicated right away (shower still slow in our last day) and a chirping smoke detector. Either of these issues weren’t deal breakers, and our time there was a success.

It was a great location in old town. The room was dirty, hair and dust on the floor. We also felt very mislead by the pictures online, the room was very small (uncomfortably small for the price), the bed was terrible and felt like a cheap pull out couch, and we were ground level next to the parking lot so it didn’t feel very safe or secure. It was fine but very overpriced and would not stay again.

The apt. was great, clean, and stylish, and had everything I needed. It is in a fantastic location in the heart of the old city. A couple minor problems but over all a great stay. The tv by the bed couldn't connect to the wifi because the signal was too low, so it was basically useless. A small detail, but I was really looking forward to just lazing in bed watching tv. As well, I was driving a large utility van, luckily the outdoor parking was available. For a vehicle that size it could not be backed into the spot and I nearly damaged it trying to back it into the very small alleyway. It fit in the front of the spot, but the owners should be aware larger vehicles shouldn't be backed in.

We enjoyed having a small kitchen to prepare simple food items when we were not out enjoying the many restaurants very close by. It was walkable to everything. We were on the top floor, so may be a lot of stairs for some people, but it was bright with a lovely view from many windows. Would return.

Good location, easy to walk to many other locations, and large room, very nice to have a fridge in the room. However, our room had a very strong smell, which was very unsettling. Additionally, I felt as though the room and bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. The bed and pillows were not super comfortable to me. Limited parking available at the McMahon, but there is a paid parking lot a very short walk away which was good.

We really enjoyed our one-week stay! The location is excellent — it’s within walking distance of Old Quebec (UNESCO area) and doesn’t require climbing any steep hills or stairs. The hotel responded quickly whenever we had questions. However, we have two small downsides to mention: the digital room key sometimes didn’t work properly, and the scheduled housekeeping on day five didn’t happen.

I've had a great stay, and the location was ideal for walks. I had an issue with the water in the shower but it was quickly fixed. Only thing in my opinion that need to be revised is communication. I was not given an update as agreed, i figured it fixed once i came back to the room. Apart from that, the building, the room were clean, i enjoyed my stay.
I've had a great stay, and the location was ideal for walks. I had an issue with the water in the shower but it was quickly fixed. Only thing in my opinion that need to be revised is communication. Pros: good, central location. Good value Cons/issues I faced: online doorkey didn’t work, had to use a 6 digit code instead. Both towels initially provided were dirty (was able to grab a clean towel easily from across the hall). Cleaners tried to enter the room prior to the 11am checkout time, waking me up

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a self-checkin experience. However, the communication was great. All the questions were answered very promptly. The property was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Location is amazing- 2 minutes away from all the restaurants and old town.

The hotel and room was really nice and clean and spacious, but for me the service was superb. Even though the reception was not there in person, they made every effort to ensure we were given proper instruction to get in building and room. Also there is no elevator but host was willing to get someone to help us with our bags. Our contact Megan, messaged us to ensure we were all settled in and had everything we needed. I was impressed, it felt like family. They cared and provided top notch service. I will only stay here if I am in Quebec City again.

Great location, and clean, clean, clean!!!! This place was updated substantially. We bought groceries and cooked a lot of breakfasts and lunches. I’d recommend the same since the restaurants nearby are as lovely as they are expensive. Full kitchen, utensils, cookery, and dishes were in our suite! No gym, and no consierge sucked :(

The place is very clean. The location is excellent, near all old Quebec attractions. Dining options are plentiful nearby. Very limit parking at the property though. Must reserve parking space ASAP.

We enjoyed having a small kitchen to prepare simple food items when we were not out enjoying the many restaurants very close by. It was walkable to everything. We were on the top floor, so may be a lot of stairs for some people, but it was bright with a lovely view from many windows. Would return.

Fantastic location! Extremely clean. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen well equipped Would defiantly stay again. The only thing that I feel could be added is a coat hooks as there is not a closet with hanging. Also a full length mirror. Otherwise it’s perfect.

The apartment is in an older building that has been completely renovated but leaving some exposed stone which adds charm to the rooms. There is a full kitchen including washer and dryer. The property is immaculate and well positioned right around the corner from many restaurants and pubs. Communication with the property manager is excellent. A huge thumbs up!

The unit was wonderful. Close to shops and restaurants. Wish we had time to stay longer. Our only problem is that we couldn’t find the second set of sheets for the sofa couches. Also, sugar and creamer for the coffee would have been nice. Only one of the tv remotes seemed to work We would definitely book again.

The place was lovely and perfect for our needs. It’s close to the Old City gate on Rue St Jean, so everything in Old Quebec was walking distance, and we were also able to easily venture outside the Old City on foot to other restaurants, a jazz bar, the Grand Theatre to see the orchestra, etc. The apartment itself had good heating and cooling (we had a couple hot days, and a couple of nights that got chilly, so had the opportunity to use both a/c and heat). Nice little kitchen but the restaurants were so good and so close we only ended up storing a couple of snacks in the fridge and didn’t cook. It did take a little while for the tap water to get cold for drinking - a pitcher would be nice to be able to put in the fridge. The shower is lovely with a rainfall and a handheld combo. To unlock the door, you have to activate it through a link on your phone, and all communication with staff is via messaging or call, so don’t let your phone battery die! Staff were responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Lovely place in a great location near enough to the action to walk around but far enough to get a good rest and no noise around. Property managers are beyond responsive and professionals. There is underground parking within a couple of blocks (not noticeable but the hotel people will send you instructions) and also a few spots on site, outside (extra charge, but convenient). they have kitchen utensils, Keurig coffee machine, detergent, salt and pepper ( no oil) and also detegent for washer and dryer. bed and sofa are super comfortable. very homey, modern vibe. Pillard bakery (from croissants and coffe to ellaborated sandwiches, saladas and desserts) a couple of streets up. grocery store is 6-7 blocks away, totally walwable.very clean renovated apartment. board games in the reception area.The only thing I missed was a full body mirror. im short so i could only see myself from the ribs up inthe mirror of the washroom (only mirror in the apartment)
