Waterfront hotel rooms are located behind their restaurant. You check in to your room at the restaurant. Our room was small but nicely furnished and had a large bathroom. A quiet courtyard has outdoor seating. Breakfast was included. It was order off the menu with a great selection. In fact this was the best breakfast of our 16-day vacation.This restaurant also serves dinner and I think it was the best in town. The hotel is located in the center of town but most places close at 9pm.

It was very nice except for 2 things: 1."free parking" means free on the street not at the property.Challenging for right sided drivers and tiny streets. 2. Internet very sketchy and drops continuously requiring continous re signing on and sometimes computer restarts. They are aware. Other than that, really nice place.

Great stay as always, lovely modern, comfortable rooms. Complementary water, sky tv so can log into your Netflix, YouTube or I-Player. Breakfast is great. Overall great rooms in a great location with great staff and a great restaurant.

This was a nice little place and the room was very clean and spacious and comfortable. Parking was down the street but we were able to drop luggage and pick up luggage right out front. The only complaint I have was the same complaint I have about every place I’ve stayed on my trip to Scotland - lots of twists and turns and stairs and cobblestones with my luggage.

This lodging was a great surprise for us. The appartements are located behind the facade of the Waterfront restaurent in an alley. Everything was very clean, renovated with a friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Great experience with friendly helpful staff, excellent food (not your pre-packed re-heated stuff) at reasonable prices and modern, clean facilities. Room and en-suite was excellent. Only minor irritation was poor internet connection that timed- out quickly. This also affected TV service which relies on internet (presume because no standard TV signal available). Also a bit of gurgling from room next door's en-suite drains (Room B). Think this might be sorted easily if an air admittance valve could be fitted. Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Very noisy in the old building in the back. While rooms have been updated nicely, the insulation in the walls and ceiling certainly was not. Whenever anyone walks around, the building creaks and groans like an old schooner in a storm. You can hear conversations and TVs in the adjacent rooms and above. We were treated to the BBC news until 1:30am and it started again at 6am. Breakfast was good as most reviews say. Otherwise, I am very surprised that more reviews don’t mention how noisy it is. Good from far, far from good.

The accommodation was lovely and the area very nice. They need to fix the WiFi. Service at breakfast was very slow on one morning but the food was good. We ate once at the restaurant in the evening and the food was less good

We stayed 4 nights. Very comfortable room with everything needed. Great breakfast choices overall, with lovely bowls of fresh fruits - though disappointed with very overcooked bacon, which we reported at the time. We walked the coast in both directions. Lovely walks, detouring into lovely little villages. Very good bus service.

Wonderful stay at the Waterfront. Rooms were beautiful and so clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with a great choice. Parking not great as there is NO actual hotel parking. It’s either local car parks or if you are lucky enough you can park on the street after 5 till 9am other than that there is a long stay car park about 10-15 minutes walk away.

Room and staff great. Very good food. Buzzing atmosphere. But aware of you book the rooms in Harbour View you do not get a harbour view!! It us just the name of the building! To get a view of the harbour you need to book one of the 2 superior rooms.

Comfortable bed, room, excellent food, friendly staff. Just parking was difficult, had a 5 minute walk from the nearest free parking up the hill. Also maybe breakfast was a bit late at 8am. This is nit picking though, would stay there again and recommend it to others

Great hotel 15 minutes from St Andrew’s. Good restaurant and rooms (beds) were very comfortable.
