The restaurant on property was excellent. Great food and waitress and bartender. Everyone was friendly. Would absolutely come back. We had a problem with the water pressure in our unit and the staff let us use the connecting until to shower. Excellent very clean place to stay.

Our stay was very nice . The lodges are very peaceful and quaint. However it needs to be noted that the restaurant is closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s !! Also of note Breakfast is no longer included in your stay ! However you can order a breakfast basket for $16.95. This add on isn’t listed when reserving your stay . And that is why we give the lodge a 7 out of 10, Thank you Ed

The Lodges At Gettysburg was wonderful! Lily was so sweet and helpful. You needed ice, she took care of it with a smile. You needed a ride up the hill, she was willing and able. She would smile and would say that is my job! Lily even arranged a display of items for sale in a showcase which we gladly purchased for souvenir’s or gifts. The young man at the bar sure did make a great drink. We had dinner there on our last night and it was so good, This place had it all including walking trails, fishing pond and a relaxing atmosphere. We would tour Gettysburg during the day and go back to our lodge and relax away from all the hub bub! Is that a word? 😂 I definitely recommend this place and would go back.

This stay was amazing. These are cute little cabins. You can rent the whole thing or rent the one room or one bedroom. We took the whole cabin. The cabins are named for the states that were in the Civil War. We stayed in Indiana. Very comfortable and clean. The location was great, out of Gettysburg but close to Gettysburg and the battlefield. The restaurant was wonderful. We ate there one night and had take-out on another.

I went with my family to the lodge. The lodge itself was great but the resteraunt fell short. Food was cold and multiple people in my party got tough or cold food. I liked the location and lodges. The other part I didn’t like is you can’t use the fire pits if your not part of a private group. Why can I use all the amenities on the property? I am a paying guest that had twelve people staying at lodge for three days.

We stayed in a Lieutenant lodge for 2 nights with young kids. Spacious cabin, very quiet property that the kids loved exploring (we used the free fishing pole rental for a quick trip to their pond), few other guests while we were there. It was great!

Wonderful cottage with kitchenette and 2 TVs and a nice couch. Stools by kitchen bar was nice as was the back deck. Nice landscaping. Only one luggage holder. Nice shower but pressure was a little low. Nice 4 machines in fitness room and a cute tavern for dinner. We would stay again. Right in the woods with great views. Really fast to get into town!

Beautiful property overlooking the area of Gettysburg. The lodge was large, clean, and well-equipped for our overnight stay. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant on site, with excellent service. We would definitely recommend this place!

The place was great, well situated and well kept. Beautiful views, great food and service. My only complaint is that the Keurig machine was not clean. If that’s the only mark against, Id say that they are doing a great job.

2nd time staying there it is a very nice property quiet location. But when we got there the bed cover was full of hair not exactly what we wanted to see or expect.

The lodges are very cozy and clean. This is our 2nd time staying here. The staff is always friendly. The cabin we had was nice and spacious. The bathroom had plenty of room which is nice and alot of hotels dont get that right. No one wants tiny bathrooms you can barely move around in.

The location was perfect with a wonderful look over the valley. (You can see Big and Little Round Top in the distance). The staff were extremely friendly and the resort was calm and quiet. The cabin we were in was overall decent but, it had a few troubling things: 1. there were ants in the kitchen area (front desk provided a trap). 2. The beds were overly creaky. 3. The pull-out sofa-bed was so uncomfortable my daughter decided to sleep on the couch instead. 4. The bathtub shower was creaky, too, and needed a bleaching of the tile and grout. The whole bathroom really needed a reno done. We took it to be a semi-rustic experience.

We enjoyed the property and the surrounding area. We were able to walk the grounds and the streets immediately outside the property. We dinned in the Pub, and enjoyed the Porch off our Cabin. The only complain I have was the size of the TV in our Cabin was way to small for the size of the Room. You could barely see it when lying in bed.

The place itself was wonderful. The rooms were pretty spacious and clean. The shower was wonderful and the extra room made even better. The back patio overlooked Gettysburg and the view was amazing. Loved the little pond for fishing and the restaurant on site was pretty good.

My stay at this hotel was incredibly uncomfortable. The bed was so stiff it felt like sleeping on a plywood board, and the pillows were completely flat, offering no support. I woke up in the morning with a sore back and a stiff neck. To make matters worse, the floors creaked loudly with every step, making it impossible to move around quietly or sleep soundly when anyone else in the room got up. Definitely not a restful experience.

My stay at this hotel was incredibly uncomfortable. The bed was so stiff it felt like sleeping on a plywood board, and the pillows were completely flat, offering no support. I woke up in the morning with a sore back and a stiff neck. To make matters worse, the floors creaked loudly with every step, making it impossible to move around quietly or sleep soundly when anyone else in the room got up. Definitely not a restful experience.

If you are bringing a party of more than 4 people and are planning on using the pull-out sofa bed as a means of sleeping you might be as irritated as I was. It was extremely uncomfortable and could not be slept in. We crammed 3 people in one of the queen beds for our 2 night stay. Believe me when I say I’m not that picky about where I sleep either. As others mentioned, the TVs are really small. TVs are pretty inexpensive nowadays , please upgrade since there are not a lot of activities for children such as a pool or playground. Other than that, the place is pretty nice and the staff is friendly. Good for a couple looking to relax.

It says breakfast available, however there is not. Dinner services are not offered on Mondays and Tuesdays and nearest food places are 15 minutes away. However, it was a beautiful cabin, with great views. It was clean and offered a nice get away that was refreshing. Beds were very hard though there were nice linens available.

The lodge was unique and quiet, however the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, my spouse and I got very little sleep for 3 days and backs are very sore, additionally the floor creaked horribly no matter where you walked loud enough to wake the other if they were lucky enough to fall asleep in the first place.

The lodge was unique and quiet, however the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, my spouse and I got very little sleep for 3 days and backs are very sore, additionally the floor creaked horribly no matter where you walked loud enough to wake the other if they were lucky enough to fall asleep in the first place.

I have stayed here a few times now and each time has been excellent. I almost don’t want others to know because I am afraid they will be booked when I need them. JK I wouldn’t keep that secrets. But seriously the best place to stay. Everyone that I have dealt with has very time I stayed has been nicer than the other. The bartender Kolten is an expert with his drinks. The staff has no turnover. I recognize everyone on each visit. That makes me know it’s a great place when employees stay

The restaurant on property was excellent. Great food and waitress and bartender. Everyone was friendly. Would absolutely come back. We had a problem with the water pressure in our unit and the staff let us use the connecting until to shower. Excellent very clean place to stay.

The Lodges At Gettysburg was wonderful! Lily was so sweet and helpful. You needed ice, she took care of it with a smile. You needed a ride up the hill, she was willing and able. She would smile and would say that is my job! Lily even arranged a display of items for sale in a showcase which we gladly purchased for souvenir’s or gifts. The young man at the bar sure did make a great drink. We had dinner there on our last night and it was so good, This place had it all including walking trails, fishing pond and a relaxing atmosphere. We would tour Gettysburg during the day and go back to our lodge and relax away from all the hub bub! Is that a word? 😂 I definitely recommend this place and would go back.

This was such a beautiful location. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. A special shout out to Nona Ford. She was so sweet and helped us with any silly question we had and provided tips on the area if we wanted to ghost hunt and for areas on parking in town. Cannot wait for the next time we come to Gettysburg, we will be booking here again!

When we arrived, the room wasn't what had been reserved. But Front Desk Manager Nona Ford went above and beyond to fix it. She ended up putting us into the best lodge they have. It was absolutely beautiful! Tavern atmosphere was cozy and the bartender was extremely personable. Would highly recommend and we hope to return.

What a treat. A little oasis outside of Gettysburg. It was great having more space than a hotel room, and the grounds were so fun to explore. Our family would stay here again in a heartbeat. I wish I would’ve booked us for longer here!

Property was clean and well maintained. Conveniently settled in the hills right next to Gettysburg battlefield. Also a short drive to historic downtown. Sachs covered bridge was right around the corner. Cant wait to return for another trip, would recommend to anyone.

The lodges are stunningly located on a hillside which we could see from a few miles away on a country road. Big Round Top and Little Round Top were easily spotted from the porch of the main lodge/office/restaurant. Yet, the Gettysburg National Military Park was a short drive from the Lodges.

The cabins are very nice, clean and quiet. The attached extra bedroom make the cabins a great family option. Easy ~15 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg and the Battleground. However, you will need to drive everywhere, so if you are looking for walkability to dining, drinks, shopping etc. this is not the place for you.

Beautiful property overlooking the area of Gettysburg. The lodge was large, clean, and well-equipped for our overnight stay. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant on site, with excellent service. We would definitely recommend this place!

Our stay was very nice . The lodges are very peaceful and quaint. However it needs to be noted that the restaurant is closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s !! Also of note Breakfast is no longer included in your stay ! However you can order a breakfast basket for $16.95. This add on isn’t listed when reserving your stay . And that is why we give the lodge a 7 out of 10, Thank you Ed

The lodge was adorable, but an older feel inside. Showers worked, toliet worked, bed subpar. Overall it was a fine stay. The Tavern restuarant on-site was Fantastic!!

This stay was amazing. These are cute little cabins. You can rent the whole thing or rent the one room or one bedroom. We took the whole cabin. The cabins are named for the states that were in the Civil War. We stayed in Indiana. Very comfortable and clean. The location was great, out of Gettysburg but close to Gettysburg and the battlefield. The restaurant was wonderful. We ate there one night and had take-out on another.

I went with my family to the lodge. The lodge itself was great but the resteraunt fell short. Food was cold and multiple people in my party got tough or cold food. I liked the location and lodges. The other part I didn’t like is you can’t use the fire pits if your not part of a private group. Why can I use all the amenities on the property? I am a paying guest that had twelve people staying at lodge for three days.

Wonderful cottage with kitchenette and 2 TVs and a nice couch. Stools by kitchen bar was nice as was the back deck. Nice landscaping. Only one luggage holder. Nice shower but pressure was a little low. Nice 4 machines in fitness room and a cute tavern for dinner. We would stay again. Right in the woods with great views. Really fast to get into town!

Our stay at the lodges was very good. The facility was very clean and the surrounding area was just incredible. When we were there, there was a wedding reception going on and the service at the restaurant was not quite up to speed because of the wedding. But outside of that, those things we really enjoyed our time there and hope to come back again.

The bar/restaurant was not a viable option. Very small. However, the room itself- presidential unit/cabin— was great and perfect for our needs in terms of three beds. It would have been good to have a toaster oven. Microwave only not ideal. Overall, a good option for a one-night stay.

Traveling with a family of 5, it was such a great relief to have our own space. The kids ran around on the grass and we got food nearby but hoping to try the tavern the next visit.
