All the staff were very helpful and attentive. We had a fantastic few nights. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Spa was excellent and worth every cent!

Vi hade en fantastisk upplevelse. Allt var perfekt. Servicen var utmärkt med fantastisk personal såsom Jessica och Martha. Restaurangen hade den bästa italienska maten. Hotellets läge var också mycket bra. Något som var mindre bra var att utomhuspoolen inte var uppvärmd under vår vistelse i slutet av september. Annars är hotellet perfekt gömt som en oas mitt i Rom.

This is such a lovely hotel and the staff make it amazing ! If I could hive the staff 10 stars I would . Each and everyone was so helpful , friendly and would go the extra mile to help . We did have a few issues with a taxi service and a third member of our party who didn’t exist but the way the staff handled the situation , all our problems melted away . Practically , the hotel is in a perfect spot for exploring Rome , especially The Vatican . It is a haven of tranquility away from the hussle and bustle with a large swimming pool and comfortable sun beds watched over by the ever attentive staff . We stayed in a junior suite which was v comfortable with a large bath and shower and seating area . We were challenged by the lighting system and maybe the room was on the dark side but not a problem reallly . The pillows were so soft and dreamy too . Will we return ?? .. At the drop of a hat . Thank you for such a lovely stay !

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The Hotel has an excellent sense of service and hospitality. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bedding was exquisite. The Concierge was accommodating and booked tickets to events for us. The hotel itself was very private and exclusive. Will definitely look forward to coming back!

I had high hopes for this hotel; we were there for New Year's Eve (NYE). The very best part of the hotel was the concierge as they helped me with everything and truly know the city and how to book things for you. The rooms are okay (not that great) and we didn't get our room cleaned or turned down while there. The food was our least favorite in Italy and our NYE meal was so bad that we left during dinner. The staff is wonderful from the moment you get dropped off. I would not stay at this hotel again unfortunately. The location is near the Vatican but the area surrounding it isn't that great. I had read about the location not being the best before coming but wanted to give it a chance anyways. I thought that by staying in a bigger hotel than the ones in the central area of Rome would give us more space but that was not the case. One of the most expensive hotels we stayed at thinking that the price would make it more grand but wasn't worth it.

Great location 10 minutes walk to the Vatican and 25 minutes to the forum. Peaceful location. I’m sure it’s great in summer. Room was OK but bathroom set up is strange - shower almost in the bath. Could do with some updating of the rooms - not quite up to modern standards. All felt a bit not quite there. Staff were excellent and helpful and friendly. Good breakfast buffet. I’d go back.

Beautiful property, and rooms. Great food and service. The only downside is the WiFi is TERRIBLE. If you plan to do any work remotely, this is not the place. Otherwise, a lovely place just a few minutes walk to the Vatican.

2nd stay at Gran Melia it’s a beautiful hotel, stunning swimming pool area, the staff are fantastic, hotel suites are very comfortable and well designed. There are a couple of things that I personally would like to see changed. Welcome drinks on arrival to the hotel. When it’s 38° outside and guests have travelled all day, the hotel should at least offer water on arrival. Breakfast - it’s disappointing for a luxury hotel that guests should be expected to pay extra for breakfast items like eggs to be made Overall I would 100% recommend Villa Grand Melia and would love to return for a 3rd time

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Agrippina for a week before Easter. The hotel is beautiful, well located for accessing Rome’s key districts and has views of St Peter’s Basilica which is pretty special. A special mention for Emma and Eleanora in the concierge team who were super helpful and wonderful with our two boys. We had a brilliant stay and will be back again, thank you!

The Internet strength and quality was really bad. I think that the hotel should upgrade to mesh 6 or increase the bandwidth to accommodate everyone. The hotel is not that big for the wifi to be so poor. I think there needs to be more restrictions on children in the food area. I watched a kid sneeze eye in an unprotected food area.

When you walk in you are welcomed from the very minute you arrive to the very second you leave. The staff are so, so, so lovely. They can’t do enough to help you. Every step you take there is someone there helping you from booking a taxis, booking tours, making you feel welcome and relaxed. Everything about the hotel was just what we needed after a day touring Rome. The hotel gave us down time and the pool was very much part of our daily routine to cool off and chill. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay overall, the room service was hot and miss, had pizza in the city, so I thought hotel would be close, but I was disappointed, some of the pasta was very salty and not up to par. The dining room was excellent, enjoyed our experience. Spa was really enjoyable. I'd come back again. Also the discretionary fee they add at end for tips for staff was relatively high, especially since I tip most service, don't mind the fee, just thought it was high.

Outstanding staff who offer a personalised touch despite being a large luxury hotel. Concierge in particular were exceptional arranging local museums/visits/guidance. The hotel is close to the Vatican and also a nice stroll 20-30mins from many other sites. Wonderful also for families

Absolutely incredible staff. So accommodating, so welcoming, helped us with different activities to help make our stay great in Rome and it was such an amazing first time. Can’t wait to either be back or check out other hotels from this Hotel Group! Thank you!

Outstanding staff who offer a personalised touch despite being a large luxury hotel. Concierge in particular were exceptional arranging local museums/visits/guidance. The hotel is close to the Vatican and also a nice stroll 20-30mins from many other sites. Wonderful also for families

We enjoyed our stay overall, the room service was hot and miss, had pizza in the city, so I thought hotel would be close, but I was disappointed, some of the pasta was very salty and not up to par. The dining room was excellent, enjoyed our experience. Spa was really enjoyable. I'd come back again. Also the discretionary fee they add at end for tips for staff was relatively high, especially since I tip most service, don't mind the fee, just thought it was high.

This was a great resort for our family to have a break from busy Rome and the heat! Breakfast spectacular every day we loved the food and service they really went above and beyond. I would book a larger suite next time because there were 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids). Everything was wonderful.

Great location 10 minutes walk to the Vatican and 25 minutes to the forum. Peaceful location. I’m sure it’s great in summer. Room was OK but bathroom set up is strange - shower almost in the bath. Could do with some updating of the rooms - not quite up to modern standards. All felt a bit not quite there. Staff were excellent and helpful and friendly. Good breakfast buffet. I’d go back.

Amazing! We spent a lovely four nights at this hotel, and it was the best stay we've had in a long time! Close to the city center, but also a nice oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Great for families! Highly recommend it!

Lovely hotel if one wants to be in a little oasis close to the City. It’s a walk into town but very close to the Vatican. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Lovely helpful staff. Very very obliging. Good breakfast although don’t agree with charging for extras. Would definitely go there again.
