Toccoa Riverside Retreat ~ 45-Acre Estate, Fire Pit, Pool, Sauna, & More!

This property is absolutely stunning. The home with the view of the river is spectacular. We enjoyed sipping our coffee in the dining room while watching the river flow below. The outdoor hot tub and sauna were so great to unwind. We had a movie night one night and all enjoyed the relaxation of the recliners while playing games/movies on the big screen. We got to see a pack of turkeys around the driveway area.Just a short drive to downtown blue ridge. W are interested in coming back during the Spring or Summer when we can fish and tube on the property. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Our family really enjoyed our stay here in Blue Ridge. The house and location are spectacular and the views of the river are glorious. This is not a negative, but just know that the pool/spa is more of an oversized hot tub than an actual pool. In my opionion, the photos make it look bigger than it is. That said, it was very relaxing to sit in and enjoy the outdoors. The movie theater room is a major highlight of this house as well!!!

Our family had a wonderful time: we walked to the ponds, went down to the river, hung out in the cabin, used sauna and the outdoor jacuzzi. It is too small to be a pool, so we named it jappoolzy :) The views and multiple balconies are great!

We had an amazing trip to Blue Ridge to celebrate a friends 30th Birthday. We fished, enjoyed the hot tub, amazing outdoor kitchen and fireplace. Best house in Blue Ridge by far. The setting is second to none.

This was our second year at the River Estate at Toccoa and we had another amazing stay. This place is perfect for grandparents, children, spouses, and grandkids to get away. There’s plenty of room. The heated hot tub pool and sauna were perfect when the weather was a bit chilly. The house was well stocked. Having two refrigerators upstairs in the kitchen was a nice addition and helpful for those doing meal prep. There are lot of local hikes and if course there is the river for tubing. We can’t commend this place enough.

The house is very spacious and the views are incredible. The theater is a nice touch for rainy days and there are olenty of things to do in the surrounding area but you won’t need it with all the amenities on the property!

We especially loved how there weren't a million bunkbeds in every room. All the rooms had king beds, except one which had the bunkbeds and twins. We only have two kids so we were happy to not have to make adults sleep in the bunk beds. There were a lot of things to do around the property, so we only left the house to go to town for the essentials and groceries. We had our entire wedding here (elopement style) with 15 guests, all of who stayed at the property. It was intimate and perfect. We had a little hiccup with the dishwasher, which was a little stressful being as it was the day before our wedding, but the owners had a new one installed the next day before our chef came in to cook. We took our wedding photos around the property and they came out beautiful. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub! The fireplace was amazing since it was January and the highs were in the 20s while we were there! The kids loved the movie theatre and we even watched the football playoffs in there on Sunday! The outdoor fire pit was great- thank you for having wood for us to use! We enjoyed some fishing on the river and loved exploring down there on the banks and rocks. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable and luxurious. Overall, we would love to come back and stay, (maybe we can try the summertime so we can swim in the river!) and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a relaxing and private winter get-away.. or wedding! :)

This was a 50th birthday celebration with college friends and spouses. The house was perfect, as there was a king room and bathroom for each couple. The amenities were perfect with the sauna, hot tub, theater room and common areas. Everyone had their own space but in close proximity to stay connected. We had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Communication was good with the property manager, as we had concerns of damage during Hurricane Helene. Our concerns were quickly put to rest thankfully. We would all stay here again. Thank you for making our special celebration memorable with your home!

The hot tub was a hit as was the wonderful fire pit with sufficient number of comfy chairs around the fire. We had s'mores and enjoyed the fire 2 nights! Even firewood was furnished! Plenty of storage for food and multiple refrigerators made at home cooking fun and easy. Every utensil and appliance we needed was there and in working order. Plenty of seating in the great room and we loved the plentiful seating for dining. One little suggestion…..upgrade/replace the bed linens. They were so thin and well worn, not reflective of the rest of the property. We loved the rental and hope to return. Thank you.

All of the rooms were cleaned and beautifully decorated. Felt very chic and elegant. The house was cleaned and well stocked with all the essentials. It's an easy drive right down to the downtown area of Blue Ridge with tons of restaurants and little shops. The staff was so friendly and responsive with every silly little question I had- we are already looking into more properties to visit next year.

Children and grandchildren gathered with us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. There are 16 of us, and this property had plenty of room to accommodate us comfortably. The home is absolutely beautiful and has astonishing views of the Toccoa River that are simply breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, with very spacious rooms. The massive living room provided seating for all of us to gather for family fun, but the sofas are looking a bit worn and you get poked occasionally with the goose down feathers coming through. The kitchen was well stocked, but recommend larger or 2nd frig to accommodate large parties. The grands enjoyed the theater room, the spa, wading in the river, and fishing at the pond. They were disappointed the tree house was no longer accessible and even our experienced campers weren’t able to get a fire going with wood provided. While the house sits on many acres, much of it is too steep around the house for the kids to run around and play outside under watchful supervision from inside. The pond area offers more level ground but is a good walk from the house requiring an adult to accompany them there. Visiting the fire pit area and riverside deck is quite a challenge for anyone with the slightest of mobility issues, yet the balconies above let you watch your party enjoy themselves. Tranquility, spaciousness, comfort, and astonishing views are what this property is all about, and that trumps all else!

The home is everything as stated plus more. Extremely well kept and clean. Kitchen is overstocked with everything you need to make incredibly yummy meals-just bring your favorite family chef! Suggest an ice chest to hold water and drinks so not to overload refrigerator. Our family of 12 ranging from 3 to 63 loved the hot tub/ sauna/ theater room. S'mores at riverside fire pit made memories along with the treehouse. Fishing the ponds gave everyone prized catches :). Many nearby hikes with waterfalls and swinging bridge. Quaint town of Blue Ridge offers nice walk along unique shops. Our adult children have told all their friends and family how the Toccoa River Retreat was their favorite vacation home and would definitely come again.

This house is absolutely beautiful and the amenities on the property are great! All of the beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of gathering space for our entire group of 18, and we really enjoyed our time. The only negatives I will say is that we really wished there had been some extra blankets we could use while sitting on the patio or living room. There was not a single thing in any drawer anywhere. It also seemed a little bit weird to me that we only had a limited supply of the basics like toilet paper, dishwasher/laundry soap, and paper towels. I know there was a warning about this in the welcome email, but for the amount you pay in fees for these places you'd think that things like toilet paper would be included. It was nice that we were provided with travel shampoo and soap for each person as rentals don't often have that, but truthfully I would rather just get an unlimited (or more substantial) supply of those basic things and skip the toiletries since anyone who has ever stayed in a Vrbo before should know to bring their own. Overall we were very happy and those are just two small details.

Room for our large family to sleep comfortably and to spread out. WiFi could be better. Well stocked kitchen. Acreage was nice for walking . Our last morning there , a mama bear and her cubs visited the trash can area even though ours were closed and locked. One lock was rusted and therefore didn’t work.We had to spend some time picking trash up. Over all nice but probably won’t stay again because of a noisy music neighbor blaring from morning til night.

The beautiful river view. The only down side is poor Wi-Fi. I need to do a couple hours work, but bandwidth/ speed was poor.

We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday and had several adults and kids attend. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and had everything you would want. The great room was beautiful and the window wall was great for looking out at the river. Thanks!

The host made the process simple—easy booking, easy setup, and an easy stay.The property and location are gorgeous, and everything worked exactly as it should, allowing us to focus on family time. 11 brothers, sisters and spouses from all over the country came together for the week, well appointed, everything worked and was relatively easy to figure out.

The home was exactly as advertised. Toccoa River Retreat was spectacular! There were 13 of us. We spent tons of time together in very comfortable surroundings but the home and property was large enough to split into small groups. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and appliances to prepare meals and there were plenty of activities in the near area for all ages to enjoy. We would love to go back to this home in the future.

The town of Blue Ridge was great!!! The drive through the woods to the home, the location, and the views were fantastic. The fireplace was amazing, but the entrance to the home was straight into the kitchen which took away from the initial impression of the home. At this price point, I thought some details were overlooked: 1. Master faucet did not work - management said that it had been ordered, but that didn't help us on our Thanksgiving week trip 2. Hot water in master (Rain Shower) did not work, but this was fixed 3. Theater Room instructions were incorrect - looked like equipment had been replaced recently. And, they had a CD player, but not a Blue Ray or DVD player. I brought an Apple TV, but I'm not sure how you would watch a movie otherwise. 4. Thermostats didn't seem to be working correctly - one room was overly hot, the basement was overly cool. I addressed this with management - they indicated that there was one master control in the master bedroom....not sure how that was the case with the variations in temps 5. Fire Place did not turn on with wall switch, and the remotes did not work. We had to manually turn on and off inside the actual fireplace 6. Microwave was not secured in the island, and the door of the dish washer was broken and just flew open - caught my shins a couple times. 7. Downstairs was darker and more choppy than how they appeared in the pictures of the home 8. Bar faucets and TVs did not work - at least for the novice that wants to press power on the remote and have the TVs turn on 9. Empty wine room was inaccessible - just felt uninviting to be locked off from this room....even though we probably would not have used it 10. Outdoor TV was locked 11. Upstairs family room TV had a blue tint 12. Sauna did not work - did not heat up 13. Lights in the hot tub did not work 14. Barn Doors to bathrooms allow guests to see into the bathroom 15. Grill did not work properly - not sure what was causing very large flames which ultimately lead to very burnt burgers Over all, we had a nice experience, but this wouldn't be a home that we would return to.

The property was amazing, the view of the river was stunning. There was plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub pool was plenty big and very enjoyable as was the porches and patio furniture overlooking the pool. The location was ideal for a short 30 minute tube ride down the river or a longer hour ride down the river. There of great hiking options in the area for daily morning hikes. Everything about this location was ideal! We’ve already booked for 2025!

My friends and I were blown away by the property. A bit off the beaten path but the experience was incredible. The pictures don’t do it justice. Super pleased with the amenities and the views. Will be going back in the future!

A great relaxing spot for us all!! The house has a gorgeous view, and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the comfortable chairs, watching the kayaks, and the Rafts come down the river. The teenagers enjoyed fishing ponds, and exploring the grounds. The hot tub and the sauna were incredible after a chilly dip in the river. We had wonderful family meals at the large table looking out over the river. The town of Blue Ridge is inviting, with lots of shopping, a great grocery store is about 20 minutes away, and I highly recommend the blue ridge train ride.

We celebrated multiple milestone birthdays and anniversaries. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We all loved the greatroom and spent most of our time there. Great for day trips to McCaysville, Blairsville, Dahlonega, Helen, Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Beautiful house, view and sounds of the river. Highly recommend this lovely property.
