What a great wee find this was. Super place to stay, staff were friendly, welcoming and the food was fab. As we were only there for one night we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to sample the breakfast, it’s definitely somewhere we’d like to visit again though.

A very individual hotel, carefully curated to give a special experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. The bar was great and the rooms furnished beautifully with lots of lovely little touches to make your stay a tad more comfortable. From coffee,biscuits and tea,to shower caps, cotton buds and earplugs. The food was delicious and the hearty , ample full english next day was gorgeous. The resident dogs were delightful and every person working we encountered could not have been more friendly and accomodating.
