Bay Motel

Parking lot was not plowed, no coffee in the room anymore. We stay here whenever we come to town. Disappointed

Room was very cute. Unfortunately somebody does a poor job cleaning. There is only one picnic table and no other options to sit outside. The one picnic table is covered in bird poop. Price was great and overall I would stay here again.

Cigarette smell in the room. Bath tub dirty.

Property was a MESS!!! Don't know if they were renovating or had just let it run down. Obvious signs of someone being in room since cleaned as there were keys left there and someone had been on bed. Bed was hard. There were no towels and when someone bought them to room, they were still damp. No cups, no garbage can, no microwave. The front office was a mess and the person on duty reeked of pot. I've stayed here before and it was ok but never again. Early evening checkin

Expedia ad terribly misleading. Picture showed rooms with knotty pine panelling and ceramic floors. Actual rooms are in a run down motel with ancient filthy carpet that reeks of cigarette smoke. Expedia ad claimed 24/7 front desk, but when I arrived I saw nothing but a phone number in the window. Called the number and was told to go to the unit and walk in the unlocked door to get the key. My car was the only one in the parking lot, not a soul in the rest of the place and no employees on site. Decided that I wouldn't be safe or comfortable there, so phoned the number and said I was checking out because the place was disgusting.

Timing was bad for this trip because everything in town that was booked for a tournament or something. The room was small and dark and dingy..only 1 light and a ceiling fan. The bedding was stained in multiple places the heat source is clearly marked as a fire hazard. There was no hot water. If there was an obvious better choice it would have been taken since they did offer a room change when my husband complained. Under the circumstances he was there for a family emergency and just needed a bed to sleep in but will NEVER go there again.

I am not a complainer... I'm a suck it up kinda guy who doesnt like to rock the boat or inconvenience anyone. Emergency stay due to a road closure. Last $80 spent Booking it late at night, 11ish, knowing there was not cancelation available after booking. (Like anywhere I figure) I'm not sure which "Bay Motel" some others are staying at with anything other than a 1-star rating. Perhaps the bay motel in a parallel universe and the internet is a bit confused with which one to attribute those good ratings to. The last room available and it was smoking. So my expectations for this room on hotels.com has started far below par. Where to start... Upon arrival 11.15? No one available... just a key on the door with my name on it and a wifi password. The room? Stinks like smoke (expected) Chips, lint, strings, clothing tags on the floor in plain view. (And not a little... more like watch where you walk) Hair on the bed as well as crusty food stuffs (i hope) No towels or wash cloths Dirty ash tray Bathroom had streams of tar running down the wall. Filthy ceiling with smok tarpatches from condensation Hole in the wall stuffed with toilet paper Food in microwave Blood in fridge and unusable freezer No working windows Screen door has a 3-inch gap at the bottom... so i can take my chances with mosquitoes per chance I want the much-needed fresh air. No tv channels wifi didnt work. No refund from motel or hotels.com The pros... it had beds and a toilet... Blanket+car=better

Not as advertised. No staff. Room left open with key inside. Dirty air conditioner- do not use! Filthy carpet. No coffee or kettle. Bed ok. Expedia should vet the places they endorse or damage their reputation.

There was an overwhelming Smokey smell to the room that left our clothes smelling of smoke. The walls were filthy. Beds were clean. Had it not been for a clean bed to sleep after a 13 hour day I would have left. No coffee maker. The staff however did call to make arrangements for an contactless after hours arrival which was appreciated.

Did not have the amenities advertised, especially no coffee maker in the room. Not enough linens or bottled water for the number of guests booked. Could hear neighbors through the walls. Not as much of a bargain as I thought.

the room had no garbage cans. no coffee for the coffee pot, no shampoo or soap. The wifi did not work even after box was reset. Just not a great experience for the money.

Property provided everything needed. Our room was relatively clean, though bathroom looked used and worn out. A bit noisy at times from other guests and the cars passing through the road nearby. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay for such a relatively low price.

The ceiling fan/light flickered but never came on except once when I sat on the bed and it blazed gloriously only to darken once more. The bed lamp had to be plugged in to use as the switch was inoperable.

Beds were comfortable. Nice to have Fridge & M/W. //

lots of little things didn't work. The bedside light, the bathroom lights, the wifi. Windows did not open so no fresh air at night.

Great stay for $, we stayed just a few hours on a roadtrip and needed to sleeo, hospitality was great , cleak helped us with after hrs check in

Channels on tv didn’t work said no subscription they never gave me the wifi password no one was there when I checked in they just left the door open with key inside When I tried to contact them no one answered and when I contacted hotels.com they told me the motel would look at it in morning and no one was at office or showed up by the time I left at 9:30am Not very impressed at all

I’m so unimpressed that there was no running water when I got up this morning. No one was on site to help remedy the issue. I called and was told to wait and see if the water started again and if not they would have to send someone out to look at it. I waited over an hour and still no water. I get things happen but this isn’t acceptable. I do not recommend this motel. I’ve stayed here with previous owners before and never had any issues.

There was only a phone number to contact to check in, no office staff to meet guests, room kinda run down but clean, beds good. For the price i would stay again.

We liked the convenience of the room as well as the price but it smelled like someone had smoked weed in it before we got there. Easy to get in and out of the room with lots of luggage.
