Very clean and quiet. The property could use a bit of updating. The ice machine was broken during my stay so that was a bit inconvenient. Breakfast was excellent but I stayed for 5 days and there was no variety in what was available for complimentary breakfast.

This is one of the best reasonably-priced motels I have stayed in. The rooms are large and well-laid out with plenty of mirrors, separate well-lit hair/makeup area outside the bathroom, and a small kitchenette. The staff is amazingly responsive, and the rooms are super clean. They have excellent pet relief areas. We were also pleasantly surprised to have a Cracker Barrel within walking distance. Our only negative was the pull-out bed smelled like it had urine on it so we did not use it. Staff sent in a cleaning crew to take care of the problem, but too late for us to use. The client laundry was easy to use and reasonably priced.

Dirty room, absolute worst stale cigarette smell. We sprayed and complained and they didn’t care. They wouldn’t change our room. We had 2 small children with us. Worst smell I’ve ever smelt. Could barely even stay in the room.

The room was extremely clean. The desk clerks were very friendly and knowledgeable about local places to eat and likely local road conditions during a snowstorm. The hot breakfast was excellent. I could not have had a better stay, and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Lehigh Valley.

The staff was friendly. But the room was disgusting. I went over the drawers and cabinet tops with wet rags and they were black. The fridge had a salad left in it and smelled badly. There was a thick layer of ice in the freezer. The floors, tub, bed, and bathroom were clean. Beeakfast was powdered eggs and sausage each day. We will not be staying there again.

Our room was definitely dated and had a strong peppermint smell when we walked in. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and clearly was patched up at some point. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work plus there was no switch for it. The beds were comfy .

The price was reasonable, the room was larger than expected, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot with good pressure. The breakfast included eggs, bacon and sausage, and there was also fresh fruit. We would definitely stay again.

For the low price I paid, definitely will be staying with this hotel again! My only complaint would be that the air conditioning in room 306 was not very strong that my partner and I had to bring up our own fan (we were moving him back to his school) to cool us down. Other than that, a great experience!

The property is really outdated. The rooms were outdated. Decor is reminiscent of the 70’s. Tubs don’t have stoppers. Kitchen is outdated. However, the layout of the king suite is great compared to other hotels. If you don’t care about all the thrills of modern property, great place to stay and for the price.

Everything was very clean and well-kept, albeit worn around the edges. The staff was super friendly. Unfortunately, this property is advertised as a suite, but does not have cups/mugs/silverware/dishes etc. It would have been nice to have those things so the kids could more easily heat and eat their restaurant leftovers. Also, no USB outlets anywhere, so be sure to bring plenty of wall warts.

This was a great choice. Nice, clean, large room. Loved that it had a sofa and chair inside, also a small frig., coffee maker, microwave, and small sink in kitchenette area. Also loved it had Dove products in the bathroom. That is what we use, and that was an added bonus. No cheap hotel products.

Property is well-maintained - hotel staff is are wonderful, super friendly and make you feel welcome. Clean rooms, comfy bedding, safe area with dining and shopping close by - easy access to 78 - very pleased with accommodations and would stay again if needed in the future! I give this glowing review, despite the electrical problem they had with room keys because they handled the situation to the best of their ability and it was simply out of their control, but resolved in a timely manner that didn’t interfere with my stay.

The management of this hotel needs a refresher course on hotel management!!! I was awoken 3 times during the night from the room next door.I went to the hotel front desk lady who could not solve the noise.They have no hotel security! The manager e-mailed me that they could not control the room making the noise. They have no concept that a good nights sleep is the primary reason to rent a hotel room. Any major problem arises at this hotel and you the rentee are in big trouble.I asked for a free complimentary stay.They declined...Hotel management rule number one.Make the renter satisfied!!

It was a great stay. It was close to the friends I was visiting, near restaurants and very convenient to RT78. One of my favorite place to eat and poke around was right nextdoor, Cracker Barrel. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was a typical free breakfast but the coffee was good.

The property is in pretty good condition. The toilet in room 305 needs to be tightened to the floor better or replaced altogether. We complained & they moved us to the room next door which we did not have any issues with. The property is convenient to Routes 100 and 78. Would stay again.

Young girl on counter during the day had bad attitude, others were very friendly and helpful. Bathroom floor tiles very dirty. Ants on counter in the room. So called breakfast was very poor except for the waffles. No yogurt, no sugar free syrup, none or very little oranges & apples, not enough food to last until 8:30. Would not stay at this hotel again and would think twice about staying at Hawthorne Properties again

I stayed there twice in 2 weeks - consistently good value. Close to the highway, comfortable room, near restaurants. The breakfast is pretty bad, but most are at this level hotel.

The price was reasonable, the room was larger than expected, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot with good pressure. The breakfast included eggs, bacon and sausage, and there was also fresh fruit. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean and quiet. The property could use a bit of updating. The ice machine was broken during my stay so that was a bit inconvenient. Breakfast was excellent but I stayed for 5 days and there was no variety in what was available for complimentary breakfast.

Comfortable beds and nice and quiet. Breakfast a little lacking, but right next to a Cracker Barrel. Friendly staff.

Rooms were spacious and bed was comfy. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and hot!! We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The hotel is very tired and in dire need of an update. The staff were great, very helpful. The bed was comfortable and did sleep well. The rug was worn, the couch/loveseat had peeling material as did the chair. Water pressure in the shower was fine. Breakfast was typical continental, did have scrambled eggs and sausage, bagels and waffles, was ok. The person at the desk did say they are starting a rehab in November, starting with third floor

The only downside was the bathroom fan was extremely loud and could not be turned off without turning out the light.

The room was absolutely unbearable. It reeked of urine. It made my eyes water. Some person must of Urinated on the room heater. The room hadn’t been updated for several years at least also. Needless to say I was outta there. Asked for a refund at the desk and looked for another hotel. Shame on this hotel.

Key Cards did not work. several trips to get into the room. Maintenance required on wall in bathroom. Pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Cannot recommend this hotel
