Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Oceanside

The air conditioning unit was leaking and the carpet was very wet I stepped on it with my socks on they moved us to another room and that room smelled like back up sewer that whole place needs a good deep cleaning we have stayed there 4 times now once we found a dead bug in the shower

The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Guest Service agents were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Lukas. The layout of the hotel was really great. My wife and I's rooms and my parents room were right by the elevator which was great because my mom didn't have to walk far. Despite the location of the rooms they were both really quiet. The bed was great! We loved the location of the hotel as it was close to Frontwave Arena which we attended a concert. The only thing I hope is that the coffee bar will get drip coffee to sell and serve. Not all guests like fu fu coffee. The Oceanside Courtyard property is something Marriott should be proud to put their name and flag on.

They added 3 sets of extra charges after we left. Would be nice if they told you about these up front.

Overall not bad. Initially I booked the room because it said it was a double queen with a separate sitting area. Turns out it wasn’t. I showed the front desk the pictures and how it said separate seating area, he said it wasn’t right. I just let it go. Staff was friendly though. There was construction going on next to the hotel. Our room was right next to it. So it was a bit noisy even at night. Water pressure in the shower was extremely weak. Probably because we were on the 4th floor. But, with all that said, the room was clean and staff friendly.

Spacious lobby with plenty of seating accommodations. Quiet and comfortable dark room. My only gripe is a $7 parking fee per night.
