Charming location close to everything in old St. Augustine. Ample parking four blocks away.

Room was clean. Breakfast was amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful. There is very minimal parking in the historic district. The parking lot Is several blocks away. The area is very quaint and reminded me of London.

Casa de Solana was a perfect place to stay while visiting St Augustine. The service was great including check in, breakfast service, visitor guidance, and room cleanliness. We enjoyed happy hour in the courtyard, convenient free parking, and cookies everyday! We will definitely come again!

Upon arrival you have to go down some very tight one way alleys to get to the 3 space parking to unload. Then carry your bags upstairs with no assistance, then proceed to the parking area which has no signs that is a quarter mile away from property. After the walk back to your room the staff tells you that you room has paranormal activity and is haunted. Staff said they have had experiences recently and truthfully tripped me out. Research before booking. We Just wanted a couple days away to enjoy, and ended up tired and living out the exorcist movie. Very unprofessional staff and overpriced for what you get. Stay away from the British room and Montejurra rooms . Research

The property was absolutely beautiful! The garden was beautiful and we loved the history behind it! The location was great and almost everything was in walking distance. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning. I would highly recommend Casa De Solana to anyone!

Very nice and quiet in the heart of old town St Aug. The property was very quiet. Room AC good. Water pressure and hot water excellent. Staff very friendly. They provided a nice list of recommendations for local dining and activities. Off site parking was not bad, less than a ten minute walk away. The comp beverages were a nice touch and the fresh baked cookies were a treat. Be aware when booking that some rooms are on 2nd and even 3rd floor. Oh the daily breakfast is always something to look forward to. It’s a formal sit down breakfast experience. A nice treat.

Needed to know very limited unloading area and parking. Would have liked bottles of water in the room, because the water is terrible. Needed some type of slip resiant bottom to tub or some type of bar to hold on. Property was very pretty, and rooms beautifully decorated.

Booked Casa De Solana - showed up to find we had a room in their “sister property” Victorian House next door in 2nd floor room at the back of the property up 19 steep, exterior steps - virtually impossible to get 50 lb suitcase down steps in pouring rain. Historic, Quaint setting - but really ?? Shower requires you to step into & out of claw foot bathtub with drawn curtain which fell off in the middle of my shower. Staff only at property to help for limited hrs in am & pm - had to settle for leaving a message to get shower curtain on properly. Wasn’t prepared for parking challenge in St Augustine - parking lot is 10 minute walk from the property down 4 blocks and over 2 blocks - soaked through shoes and pants walking through major puddles getting to car 1 day.

This is a remarkable, quiet place on the oldest street in the old city. Easy to walk throughout the city. Breakfasts were great. Close to great dinning; we enjoyed Old City Restaurant and Preserved Restaurant. Staff was great and the balconies were ideal for an afternoon glass of wine.

Very unique, historic hotel. Delicious breakfasts, very helpful & friendly staff, clean rooms. A/C filters were quite dirty, may need more frequent maintenance.

Great experience, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent along with complimentary wine, soda, coffee and water throughout stay.

We were supposed to be booked into the Casa Solana, but wound up being switched to the Victorian house without our knowledge. Although we realize we were going to be on a second floor, and there were stairs, we did not expect the steepness, nor the unsafeness of the staircase, which is an outdoor staircase. The clawfoot bathtub was unusable as a bathtub as there was no stopper and was unsafe as a shower, because the shower curtain/shower liner went into the bathtub including the floor of the tub which made it slippery. They took our towels after the first night, but did not replace the towels so when we went to shower the next day, we had no showers no towels to dry ourselves with except hand towels Underneath the bed when I drop something there were used face masks and a lot of dust and dust balls. None of the dressers nor end tables Were usable as the drawers either did not open or were stuck shut. The breakfasts were subpar the first day being better than the second day the second day they said they were giving us an Italian breakfast which they called it a crustless quiche when in actuality, it was a horribly made frittata a cold, small package croissant and a small fruit salad. For the money that we paid for our rooms, we expected a lot better service and a much better breakfast.

What a dump. I had to use soft soap from a bottle for my shower. Not even a bar of soap. My shower was an old peeling paint claw foot tub. Just thought you’d like to know. I did have a poached pear for breakfast. That was the best part of staying there

Our room was not what was pictured on line, but was remodeled. We were suppose to have a soaker tub, but had a large shower. They need a better finish carpenter. Our room was large and comfortable. The property is close to everything. Oliver, jack of all trades and host was very kind. The lady that was the cook, sorry don’t remember her name, was also friendly and attentive. We would stay again.

Everything was great. We get to pick out and reserve the table we sat at for breakfast. Breakfast was scrumptious. The room we were in was sincerely perfect, super clean, and spacious. Everything was just a lovely little place to have a staycation.

The location was excellent, with much of the old city area within walking distance. Loved the available coffee all day. Disappointed fireplace did not work in the room. Bed was very comfortable. The bath did not have its own heat source. We had two cold nights which made the bathroom chilly. We did think the breakfasts not as good as 1 year ago: good but not as great. We would repeat a visit in the future.

Beautiful B&B with very nice rooms, great location! Jenny makes awesome breakfasts and plenty of food! This will now be our go-to place in St Augustine. Only suggestion: change out the chandelier over the bed with a ceiling fan!

This B&B far exceeded our expectations. We had the British suite, which met our needs, and then some! The large soaking tub was a bonus. The house is very historical and decorated great. The breakfast was outstanding! Will definitely be back.

We were texted at 5pm, an hour before front desk was due to shut down, asking when we were going to arrive making us feel somebody was in a hurry to leave. This was confirmed when the lady who greeted us (Cathy?) barely had time to say Hello before she was on the computer charging us for the second half of our payment. Then, Big Surprise. The room which I had so carefully picked out in The Victorian house only 2 weeks before, was not available. There is an enormous renovation project gong on there so I don't believe that management were unaware that "my" room would be inaccessible when I made the booking. The room we were shown before she ran away was not what I would have chosen. It had a huge bath tub in the room. Door to the bathroom wouldn't close properly. Furniture was not so much antique as just old and not well cared for. Wi Fi wouldn't work despite what the instructions in the room said. We texted Cathy, she didn't reply. When we asked about it the next day she literally rolled her eyes, told us we should have read the instructions and then took his phone out of my husband's hand and typed in a password. She was actually rude. They will not clean room unless you put the door hanger out. Breakfast was good and served by two lovely ladies but there was no choice. Food was just put down in front of us. Two courses each morning. Day two started with strawberry sorbet! Lets just say its a good thing we are not big eaters. Decor in our room was tired 60s.

Great experience … excellent location and the service is super !!!

We were notified 2 hours prior to check in that the room we reserved would not be available.....the stay went downhill from there. We left after night 2 (of 3 planned) as it became clear that we were going to be shuffled into a different room each night with no access to a room during the days. We were asked to prepay immediately upon arrival and have not been refunded for night 2 as promised and no refund for night 3 as we didn't even stay. Horrific experience!

Had very mixed feelings about my stay at this location. I thought the room was beautiful as was the whole property. Did not very much enjoy the service. I never felt particularly welcomed. Admittedly I am an alternative looking fella but I am super friendly. When my traveling partner and I walked in we did not receive what I would call a very excited greeting. I don’t stand on ceremony so I overlooked this. The next day I came down for breakfast and the woman working asked if I was staying there as if I wasn’t sleeping directly upstairs but rather some vagrant off the street. I then mentioned my friend is not a morning person and said I was hoping to bring her her breakfast. I was told I would have to be charged extra because that would be considered room service even though I was the one offering to bring it upstairs. On top of that we checked and nowhere on their website does it state a policy rush to receive breakfast one must be present. For the price I was spending for the room I felt like a pear and a croissant for my partner would be worth the exchange, especially since it is unlikely I will stay there again. Later that morning I went to get my car from the offsite parking. Checkout is 11, it was 11:03 and I heard one of the two women remark “there they are” as if we were greatly putting them out. I enjoyed the bed, the amenities and all that but the overall staff experience left something to be desired. I am unlikely to refer anyone here or stay here myself again.

Stayed 2 nights right in the middle of the Historic district so you were in walking distance to most of the sights. Our room was fantastic and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and you must try the cookies. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay from beginning to end. We had a suite downstairs near the breakfast room (convenient). The breakfast was exquisite and delicious. It would have been yummy on a paper plate but the breakfasts here are served on fine China. Hearty and healthy food to start our day was much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again.
