Good location, close to train station. Nice neighbourhood, quieter then busier spots like Shibuya, Shinjuku but still lots of shops and restaurants around. Room was very clean and staff were friendly. Would be nice to have more space in room, potentially having only one table instead of two. This was a minor inconvenience as we were out most of the day. Despite the renovations in the hotel, we did not have any disruptions at all.

They are in the midst of a construction in their courtyard. So we couldn’t experience that. Hotel was decent, close to the train station and some shops. If you’re looking for a basic hotel as a home base for your trip, this would suffice.

I arrived early and appreciated that the hotel stored my luggage. However, check-in wasn't processed until later, even though they had my passport. Still, it was thoughtful that they placed my bags in the room before I returned. The staff’s English was limited, and the early morning receptionist wasn't very polite – possibly just not a morning person. The room itself was a letdown. It was dusty and musky, and I had to open the window to air it out. The toilet had a strong mouldy smell, with black mould visible on the tiles. Dust was present on the floor, bedside tables, and the basin had stains and watermarks. Clearly, the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. While it’s a 3-star hotel, I’ve experienced far better standards in similar-rated accommodations. The hotel follows eco-friendly practices, so room cleaning is only done every five days. Towels can be changed upon request. A plus point is the in-room washing machine with a dryer function. Convenience is the highlight here. There’s a drugstore (10am–10pm) and 24-hour Family Mart just below. It's also a 3–5 minute walk to Yotsuya JR and Metro stations. Car rental shops (Nissan and Nippon) are right across the street. Parking was great – 1,500 yen per night for a reserved spot directly behind the hotel, which worked perfectly for my rental car. Good location, but poor cleanliness. Not ideal for guests particular about hygiene.

Love the lounge area. Although it is small, it is cozy and does not get too crowded too. Free coffee, tea and snacks provided. The rooms comes with washer & dryer which was really convenient for travelling in Japan, since I had to travel light. The room was compact and had everything I needed.

Very convenient location. Train and subway stations are 7 mins walk from the hotel. Love their amenities, coffee machine had great selections. Croissants available early evening. Washer/dyer unit inside room was awesome. Microwave, ref and mini kitchen were very useful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There are convenience stores and pharmacy right next to the hotel. We would come back again to this hotel.

Met other guest using the down elevator who were sweating profusely and had the same complaint. Also, they had this croissant locked box for breakfast? Say 3.75/5 stars. Getting the “bad” stuff out of the way. The washer/dryer we had didn’t work properly. Would wash but wouldn’t dry. An error code popped up every time saying the filters were dirty but zero dirt so I’m assuming it had to do with an air vent we couldn’t clean ourselves. Didn’t bother getting it fixed while we were there. Not on the hotel. On me as I really only used the washer a couple of times. Just mentioning it as it may occur. Room was kind of run down. Walls are NOT white. More yellow? Room looks like the photos, just edited to look cleaner and more like white walls. Some wall paper peeling & bathroom had a mild mildew smell that would trail out into the room but leaving the vent on helped. Have free coffee and stuff in the lobby but coffee line can get long cause there’s only one and it does take a good minute or two to spew out a latte, matcha, coffee, etc. Overall tho. Washer was still very convenient! Free coffee & very decent coffee/lattes from a machine was still a plus! Had a view of a neighborhood/city skyline from the room which was also nice. Location is very good though. Good food around that can easily walk to. A station that is right down the street that’ll take you to Tokyo, Shibuya, or Shinjuku and can transfer at any of them to take you anywhere else! Didn’t have much staff interaction but the small amount I did seemed fine! Overall I’d recommend. This is my experience. I’d stay here again. Could easily be 4 stars!

I used to like staying at the Tokyu Stay chain as the ones I stayed at Yutenji and Shimbashi were clean and having a washing machine in room was super convenient. This branch however, fell short in terms of cleanliness. We stayed 4 nights, one of our rooms stink of food and the smell would not go away the whole duration. One of our rooms' toilet smelled of bad sewage that also lingered despite using the room spray. The shower curtain had signs of mould on it. The rooms were also dusty due to the carpets. The carpets along the corridors also had food and oil stains the first night we were there, as though the trash was being dragged through it.

One reception staff member was rude, the room was dirty, smelled stuffy, mouldy and musty. There was a beer bottle with cigarette butts on the balcony that made the room smell of cigarettes. We booked a non smoking room. The curtains were mouldy and there was hair on the walls and carpets. This hotel needs a major upgrade, it’s very dated. Housekeeping only change towels and empty bins but don’t clean or make the bed. I would not stay here again. It was however handy having a washing machine in the room and the location was good and close to the train station.

Very spacious rooms with a studio-like layout. Room even has a balcony with gorgeous views of the city from top floors. Was even able to see top of Fuji in the distance. I think it's a great hotel for a work stay. The desk, laundry machine and kitchenette are very handy. The wifi is fast. And the staff is very courteous. Akasaka Palace, plenty of food, and mutliple train lines are within walking distance.

Staying here was like having a studio apartment! The bath tub, kitchen, refrigerator and microwave, and location met our needs. The dryer was difficult because it was on for 12 hours waking us up beeping, and the clothes were super wrinkled. The washing machine was great. We will definitely try to return here again.

L'hotel è bello e ben tenuto ma la stanza è davvero piccola e manca un armadio. In compenso ho apprezzato il cucinino (però mancavano i coltelli) e la lavatrice (anche se le istruzioni non erano chiarissime). C'era tutto, anche il sapone per la lavatrice! La colazione era un po' strana ma buona e soprattutto per tutto il giorno erano a disposizione vari tipi di bevande (acqua gassata e non, tanti tè diversi, latte, caffè, cappuccino, matcha in vari modi, ecc...) e anche cornetti e fagottini al cioccolato. La metropolitana è vicina ed è una linea centrale che consente di arrivare ovunque. In definitiva, mi sono trovata molto bene e ci tornerei volentieri.

My stay at Tokyu Stay Yotsuya Shinjuku Area was excellent. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is convenient, close to public transportation and very quiet. I especially appreciated having a washing machine in the room — a real bonus for a longer stay. Overall: impeccable service, great comfort, and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

As far as we are concerned, the hotel is very nice, the staff are excellent and very attentive. It’s located in a very chill area of Tokyo with many restaurants, bars, grocery and convenience, stores, and more! I would disregard the majority of reviews talking about it being an older hotel, because that simply does not matter. The room size is great for Tokyo and it’s super easy to get to wherever you want to go, whether you’re taking the train a taxi or an Uber. Definitely would stay here again.

四谷の東急ステイは2回目の利用です。タオル交換とゴミ回収の時間をフロントにお願いしたのですが、清掃スタッフさんに伝わっていませんでした。前回宿泊した時も同じ事があったので、連携が取れていないと感じました。また、フロントにお願いに行った際に応対された方は、作業されていたのだと思いますが、パソコンから一度も顔をあげずに、作業を止める事もせず、目を合わそうともされない応対だったので、とても嫌な気分になりました。また、チェックアウトの時間を仕事の関係で1時間だけ延長したかったのですが、宿泊料の半額を取られると伺い驚きました。他の東急ステイでは1時間¥1,000でしたので、四谷だけがそうなのか、改訂されたのでしょうか？東急ステイはお部屋に洗濯機もあり、タイプによってはキッチンもついていて、出張が多い身としては本当に有難いホテルです。大体は銀座か築地、新橋などを利用するのですが、生憎満室で前回今回と四谷を利用させて頂きました。今まで一度も嫌な思いをした事がないので、とても残念に思い投稿させて頂きました。

My trip was elevated by my stay here. It was my first international flight as well as my first solo trip so I got lost as soon as I landed. Thank goodness this place had midnight check in so I had time from when I arrived to show up. My whole stay was great from the moment i entered my room till I left. Room service was non invasive and only showed up to clean if you wanted them to. AC was a nice touch given the heat. Not too much to complain about however I wish the trash can was a bit bigger (that thing is TINY). I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent place to stay thats close to a station.

The breakfast offerings sounded like a great option but in reality were just not good at all. Microwaving frozen items for convenience is one thing but the quality was just not there. Much better options available at local convenience store. But on the good side, the coffee in the self service area was really good. Hotel overall was OK but for the prices charged was not a good value. Prices are on par with 5 star hotel we stayed at the 2 nights previously. Staff was very helpful but did not understand the baggage delivery service that we wanted to send our bags to airport on departure day. We asked about baggage delivery timing and were told “ as long as bags are dropped by 9am” Turned out we needed to reserve day prior AND drop off by 9 am. This left us dragging our suitcases around Tokyo all day before flight. Live and learn…

Wer Lust hat morgens eine Stunde früher aufzustehen, um sein eigenes Frühstück zuzubereiten, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Leider ist das Frühstück auch jeden Tag das gleiche. Für Vegetarier jedoch eine vollkommene Katastrophe. Bis auf eine vegane Dosensuppe gibt es sonst nur noch Müsli und Reis zu essen. Auf Sauberkeit wird auch nicht wirklich Wert gelegt und die Mitarbeiter können nicht wirklich Englisch. Google Übersetzer würde ich jedem dringend empfehlen.

Hemos estado alojado durante 4 noches. La habitación en sí está bien, pero el baño está anticuado y sucio. Cama cómoda, pequeña cocina, lavadora y balcón exterior. Cogimos desayuno, pero pedimos anularlo porque son productos congelados que preparas tú mismo, no es un servicio como tal. Con el precio que tiene, puedes desayunar fuera. Limited room cleaning, only once a week. Even though the facility comes with breakfast, you have to prepare it yourself in your room from the ingredients provided. You spend most of your vacation period over services that you expect the hotel to provide. Not something to be recommended.

In most respects the hotel is excellent, the exception being its breakfast, which is a ripoff. Previously, we stayed at another Tokyu Stay hotel, which offered an modest but acceptable breakfast. At this one, however, the breakfast consisted of "take it to your room and prepare it yourself" offerings, most of which were a bother to prepare and mediocre at best. So, skip the breakfast! You can buy better things at nearby stores to prepare yourself or try one of the nearby coffee shops.

朝食が和食と洋食選べます。洋食が冷凍なので、電子レンジで温める時に容器に移すと書いてあり、容器はついてきてないので部屋のお皿を使いましたが、部屋にキッチンも洗剤もなく、フロントに相談したところ、、今まで長期滞在で洋食を2回頼んだ例がないので確認して連絡しますと言われ、待っていたが最後まで連絡もなく、汚れたお皿も片付けてもらえなかった。お皿を使う人が少ないのか、新しいお皿のはずなのに手垢だらけで汚れていた。出かける前にフロントに朝食を取りに行くのが毎回大変だった。お皿の件が解決しないのでそれ以降は和食にするしかなかった。食事の件以外は、特に不満はなく、立地も良いし、部屋の乾燥機付き洗濯機も便利でした。

Very convenient location. Train and subway stations are 7 mins walk from the hotel. Love their amenities, coffee machine had great selections. Croissants available early evening. Washer/dyer unit inside room was awesome. Microwave, ref and mini kitchen were very useful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There are convenience stores and pharmacy right next to the hotel. We would come back again to this hotel.

The breakfast offerings sounded like a great option but in reality were just not good at all. Microwaving frozen items for convenience is one thing but the quality was just not there. Much better options available at local convenience store. But on the good side, the coffee in the self service area was really good. Hotel overall was OK but for the prices charged was not a good value. Prices are on par with 5 star hotel we stayed at the 2 nights previously. Staff was very helpful but did not understand the baggage delivery service that we wanted to send our bags to airport on departure day. We asked about baggage delivery timing and were told “ as long as bags are dropped by 9am” Turned out we needed to reserve day prior AND drop off by 9 am. This left us dragging our suitcases around Tokyo all day before flight. Live and learn…
