Excellent stay. Clean room, friendly, helpful staff. Great meals!! Lots to do; Indoor pool & hot tub, sauna, kayaks, paddle boats, day spa, beach, fire pit, docks. Will return!!!

We had a really pleasant stay at this resort. The room was nice, view of the water was great. It wasn’t crowded, we had easy access to our kayak and the shore so we took a few lovely paddles around the many islands and rivers. Sadly, their beautiful indoor pool was closed for renovations while we were there, but we had easy access to their tennis court. The grounds were a little unkept, but staff were quick to attend to anything reported. Location was great as we had pretty easy access to nearby towns and interesting hikes. We would definitely recommend others going here as long as they were easy going and outdoorsy.

This is my second time up at Christies Mill and Spa. Love the property. It's nice to have your own beach. Love the lake. It's a very peaceful place to get away. My room was an upgraded one and it was very comfortable. I also went to the spa and had a facial.There was a problem with my facial. Kelly the spa manager and the new manager of the hotel were very accommodating. Excellent customer service.Was solved. I'm glad they will be renovating in November. The hotel is old and outdated and needs a makeover. I will be back next year. It's a gem of a place.

Have stayed at this hotel early last year. It’s deteriorated significantly! Almost in all aspects. Standoffish reception, who wasn’t aware their ice machine wasn’t working and that they had a sauna on the second floor. That’s if she was at the desk. Want there for over half an hour mid day. Food was not good at all. Pasta and chicken clearly from frozen and microwaved. Not edible. Even burger wasn’t good. Room had a single second bed squeezed in. No cleaning service until we asked later in the day. Garbage not emptied and beds not made. Old food and dishes sat in the hall outside a room for over 24 hours. Heard it had changed ownership. They won’t survive with the existing issues. Won’t go back for sure.
