Outstanding! I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst finalising my relocation for a new Brisbane Based role. The service was outstanding & all the staff are so warm, welcoming & so helpful. A huge personal thanks from me particularly to Emma, Nick & Chris who were beyond exceptional. I am ever so grateful for all the help I received. I was initially reluctant as I’m in my 50’s & was unsure however I was reassured & felt completely comfortable. I had a private room with ensuite which was excellent & I also experienced a night in a 4 bed dorm. I was pleasantly surprised & was very comfortable & it was so quiet & peaceful. The hygiene standards are excellent & all very clean with good quality pillows & linen all being lovely. It was quiet for sleeping. The communal kitchen is fantastic with all that is needed & cleaned regularly. Located on the rooftop with a lovely outdoor area with such a beautiful outlook, cafe/bar. There are separate private work or rest areas & overall the facilities are superb! Great value & a fantastic central location with excellent transportation options. I loved my time here & I highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff who are all 5 ⭐️ Warmest, Catherine.

Gets the job done, has everything you could need, and is conveniently located. There is a lack of privacy with the dorms, shared bathrooms, and shared kitchen. Though it still feels safe because of the key card access. Very difficult to get fridge space, so making your own food beyond snacks is inconvenient.

Superb! Outstanding! I highly recommend for all. This was a return visit for me & I was so excited to return! I love ❤️ YHA Brisbane! It’s my home away from home in beautiful Brisie. From the moment you arrive the WHOLE team are ALL amazing! They are like family greeting you as you arrive & always helpful in any way! For me this is most important in any business. The entire TEAM are what I love most here. I can also say, the location, transportation, the dining options & close proximity to all needed. The cleanliness& hygiene standards are just exceptional with the most amazing dedicated team who ensure the highest of standards. I absolutely 💯 LOVE the communal kitchen & the beautiful terrace where all gather & enjoy the most spectacular views, outlook, energy with all the travellers who embrace it all & as I am older I just LOVE to see that with them. I think that the youth have the world 🌍 at their feet with SO much opportunity in life which is fabulous & I love that for the next generation who are our future. YHA Brisbane is SAFE so you can relax knowing that which is crucial. My precious Daughter would have been 24 now & I know I works have encouraged her also to travel the world 🌍 like so many do. I would hope & pray that if she was out there on the other side of the world I can honestly say I would be so happy to know if she was safe in such a special place as YHA Brisie. Property was very central to what we were doing. Pricing was quite high for the accommodation No hot water in the showers The rooftop bar was ok but the beer was warm and the pre mix soft drinks were flat.

Very nice for a hostel. I liked that there was a women’s only washroom and the bunk beds have curtains so it feels a bit more private. The pool was great to lounge around on a hot day.

Cet hostel a dépassé mes attentes. Très propre et confortable, j'y ai passé 3 nuits très agréables. Calme mais social à la fois, facile de rencontrer des gens. La cuisine est vraiment super, pas trop bondée. Super rooftop aussi. Grands casiers dispo. Activités organisées chaque jour.

Staff preoccupied and customer service fails miserably. Housekeeping is atrocious. Bathrooms mouldy and rooms not cleaned at all. Room had no curtain. Seems to have way too many staff working yet little housekeeping and no maintenance. No leadership overall by looks of it

Bad experiences everyday. The Room had an Ant Infestation My Roommate stinks extremely, so we can even smell is outside the room. Bathrooms were dirty The kitchen was unusable most of the time, because the equipment were broken or not even washed. My food Bag was stolen in the Fridge also.

It is a good place to stay. I didn't give it 5 stars because of a couple of issues. First, it is very noisy all day and night. If you want to have a good night sleep forget it. People speak very loud outside the rooms, kids run around yelling. I have never experienced something like that in any hotel I have beem before. Second, the shower was terrible. There was practically not water coming out. Hard to remove body wash and shampoo. There are two very important factors when staying in a hotel. The rest of the facilities and customer service are great.

Outstanding! I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst finalising my relocation for a new Brisbane Based role. The service was outstanding & all the staff are so warm, welcoming & so helpful. A huge personal thanks from me particularly to Emma, Nick & Chris who were beyond exceptional. I am ever so grateful for all the help I received. I was initially reluctant as I’m in my 50’s & was unsure however I was reassured & felt completely comfortable. I had a private room with ensuite which was excellent & I also experienced a night in a 4 bed dorm. I was pleasantly surprised & was very comfortable & it was so quiet & peaceful. The hygiene standards are excellent & all very clean with good quality pillows & linen all being lovely. It was quiet for sleeping. The communal kitchen is fantastic with all that is needed & cleaned regularly. Located on the rooftop with a lovely outdoor area with such a beautiful outlook, cafe/bar. There are separate private work or rest areas & overall the facilities are superb! Great value & a fantastic central location with excellent transportation options. I loved my time here & I highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff who are all 5 ⭐️ Warmest, Catherine.

Superb! Outstanding! I highly recommend for all. This was a return visit for me & I was so excited to return! I love ❤️ YHA Brisbane! It’s my home away from home in beautiful Brisie. From the moment you arrive the WHOLE team are ALL amazing! They are like family greeting you as you arrive & always helpful in any way! For me this is most important in any business. The entire TEAM are what I love most here. I can also say, the location, transportation, the dining options & close proximity to all needed. The cleanliness& hygiene standards are just exceptional with the most amazing dedicated team who ensure the highest of standards. I absolutely 💯 LOVE the communal kitchen & the beautiful terrace where all gather & enjoy the most spectacular views, outlook, energy with all the travellers who embrace it all & as I am older I just LOVE to see that with them. I think that the youth have the world 🌍 at their feet with SO much opportunity in life which is fabulous & I love that for the next generation who are our future. YHA Brisbane is SAFE so you can relax knowing that which is crucial. My precious Daughter would have been 24 now & I know I works have encouraged her also to travel the world 🌍 like so many do. Clean and in a good location. Check-in process was far too lengthy and the bathroom light did not work. Loud noise from the neighboring construction site started at 5.45 am so not good if you hoping to be asleep at that time.

Was a brilliant choice for accommodation for the Travis Scott Concert. Very good that it’s so close to Suncorp stadium and will definitely come back again if coming for another concert.

My room was really simple clean and nice. I also found it fairly quiet. I also liked that the hostel was close to Roma st station. During the evening there were some drunk guests hanging around the main entrance hassling people. That was kind of annoying.

Cet hostel a dépassé mes attentes. Très propre et confortable, j'y ai passé 3 nuits très agréables. Calme mais social à la fois, facile de rencontrer des gens. La cuisine est vraiment super, pas trop bondée. Super rooftop aussi. Grands casiers dispo. Activités organisées chaque jour.

Bad experiences everyday. The Room had an Ant Infestation My Roommate stinks extremely, so we can even smell is outside the room. Bathrooms were dirty The kitchen was unusable most of the time, because the equipment were broken or not even washed. My food Bag was stolen in the Fridge also.

YHA insists on access to all parts of the hotel being digital by way of having their app on your phone and accessing areas by putting your phone onto the digital pad of the door to the area you want to get into. The problem is that it doesn't always work. I wasted an hour trying to get access to my room, with staff insisting the app on the phne works. Finally I had to demand a physical area, which worked first time.

Be aware that this hostel is right next to a train line. Request a room away from the train line if that bothers, but you'll probably still hear it! The staff that i encountered here were all very nice and I cannot fault them. What is not clear, is the opening times of the bar and cafe and the facilities offered there. Multiple places i saw advertising for bar food, but on asking, i was told the bar didnt serve food. Also poor were the laundry facilities. I could usually find a washer, despite at least one being out of order every time i used the facilities! As for the dryers two at least were out of order which meant i had to put the A/C on in my room.to get my clothes dried!
