Although the room wasn’t ready when we arrived (at 3:30pm), the staff were very friendly & attentive to get the room ready. The area around the whole ‘resort’, which is a term that should not be associated with this establishment is absolutely terrible… Pool area has peeling astroturf, there is unusable old equipment in the communal areas, rubbish everywhere, unsafe in every public area with broken floorboards, ‘gym’ equipment, bbq and seating area. This ‘resort’ should not be given the name resort as it is entirely misleading and it should absolutely not be listed on a well regarded and popular booking forum. We had an 11 month old baby with us & it wasn’t safe to let her roam anywhere. We put one of the beds against the door of the room so we felt safe enough to sleep. Yes it was cheap, but cheap & nasty. I would have paid double and more to stay somewhere clean & safe.

The bad. Didn't feel safe with door locks in RM 9, locked them and a good hard pull on the glass doors had them open again. Pillows smelt like cigarette smoke even through the pillow case and obviously the pillows haven't been replaced for quite sometime. Toilet had pubic hairs stuck to it. Picked spare toilet roll of the top of the toilet and it was dirty on the side which had been sitting face down. No curtains or blinds covering window above the bed which is reasonably high so no-one can actually look in, but when outside light went on room was flooded with light. Curtains covering sliding door are thin and light coloured so don't really block light coming in. The good it looks quite nice but looks can be deceiving. Would not stay here again.
