There is no food offered on the premises but is very close to many different food options. The bed and room were clean and comfortable but my husband is disabled and had a hard time going up the stairs (which were wobbly and broken) but other than that my dog was accommodated and we were within a short distance to walking trails and grassy areas. We definately stay again. We have already stayed many times before and never a complaint.

This is a no frills motel. No kitchen or amenities. Coffee pot in room. Comfortable and affordable as a good fit to lay your head for the night. We stay here when visiting family and it is slowly deteriorating from lack of maintenance. The worst part is the parking lot which has no specific plan…people crowd in wherever if there is no room in front. Muddy when it rains.

Parking was tricky as they allowed transport trucks to park right in the parking lot close to the rooms. Smokers were right outside our door, which smelled bad (not hotel "fault" necessarily.

Definitely coming back to this motel. Amazing staff, nice clean room, and safe. There is picnic table with access to BBQ machine which also has burners on the side, although we took our own portable stove which we used for cooking on the table outside. It was our first time @RMH and it was definitely a great experience.

Don't stay here if it is really cold and you need to plug in your car. There are limited spaces to plug in and they are all going to be in use if you leave the motel and return later in the evening. No dedicated parking spot for your room means plug in is first come first serve despite paying for accommodation. Not at all good on a weekend with -30 in the morning.

Very disappointed in the lack of cleanliness in an I renovated room - rust in the sink, mold/mildew in the bathtub caulking, stains on the carpet and a bad odor in the room. The room was by the parking lot so I was woken up by loud diesel trucks that started idling at 4:30 a.m. I had booked 3 nights and after 1 night I decided to leave early. No one at the front desk so I left a note. Later I called to explain why and was told they would not refund me for the 2 nights I didn’t stay but would offer me a credit to return for 2 nights. I declined. Very poor customer service, rarely is anyone at the front desk, there is no email and when you call no one picks up and there is no option for voicemail. The bar needs to be raised for what’s acceptable in an unrenovated room.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy, however there was a definite smell of wet, moldy plant matter. Also, the shower had no shower head attached so the water just blasted out. Even for a 2 star motel that's pretty unacceptable.

Terrible smell in the room, had to air it out everyday. The tub had some hair in it when I arrived and when I was checking the mattress, a coffee stir stick came out from under the mattress.. cobwebs in corners and from vents. Staff was nice, but ultimately I ended up leaving a day early, with out reimbursement of my last day. Won't be going back there. I stayed in the main portion of the inn. The pictures do NOT look anything like the room I stayed in. It was dated. Mattress was uncomfortable and sheets were stained. There was hair under the bed. I did some cleaning prior to bringing my stuff in as I couldn't cancel due to booking thru a third party (Expedia). Only plus was it's close to where I was working for the week.

Room was dirty when I checked in, dirty bedding, dirty bathroom with hair and mold all over it, looked like the carpet had not been vacuumed in a month, dirty sheets with stains all over it, and every time they “cleaned” the room they turned my heat down to 10 degrees in -30 weather

The room may be updated but they are so dirty. The doors, walls, bath tub, etc have never ever been washed. They are caked with dirt. The pillow cases were yellow and the pillows very small squares. I’d be scared to see what the rooms inside the building look like. It seems some rooms are home to quite the rough looking crowd.

This hotel is super quiet, beds are comfy, pillows soft, room was big with lots of desks and work tables. Easy to walk into town to enjoy shopping and dining. The perfect place for an enjoyable experience in Rocky Mountain House.

Room was pretty gross. Hit and miss here some are ok. Also freezing when I first got in the room took forever to warm up. tv had no volume. Book knowing could be a better room or worse one like I got.

The room we book only was a single queen, it was overpriced in my opinion. The bedding was old and outdated. The fridge was right beside the bed, so only one bedside table. No updated fixtures or furniture. The table was a round older bar table with 2 chairs. The cooking surface was a 2 burner induction top, no actual stove. The tv sound didn't work properly. The flooring was partially updated but always felt gritty. It was a very small room, 2 people would have a harder time moving around. It worked for one person for the few weeks but I have spent the same amount of money elsewhere and had better accommodations.

I tried to cancel this booking multiple times on the 23rd and got no where they wouldn’t let me cancel even though it was before the cut off time even called today and didn’t get any help. So not only did I not stay here I lost my money cause they wouldn’t cancel. Definitely will make sure people know this is how they operate their business

The room was ok. At 4 AM in the morning, in the next room the people were arguing loudly, I tried to call front desk, no answer. The people continued to bang walls, talk loud and I never slept. At 7 I called the desk again and complained. I was told there was nothing they could do. I asked for refund, they asked if I was going to rate service as poor, I said yes . They said no refund. We left at 8am, exhausted and drove 2 hours home. WORST SERVICE EVER

I had booked 2 rooms for my parents and relatives for my wedding but on the day of check in, they were told that one of the rooms that we paid for was not available as someone, that was not part of our party, had already checked in and only one of the room was unavailable. They weren’t able to do a refund as it was booked via Expedia but made them jump through hoops to rectify the situation between Expedia and the hotel. My relatives had to deal with the hotel causing my parents and relatives to be extremely late to my reception and deviating from their original plans.The hotel eventually called to say that it was misunderstanding, but at that point, the huge inconvenience had already costed us lost time and opportunities during our wedding. It was extremely disappointing

This hotel is super quiet, beds are comfy, pillows soft, room was big with lots of desks and work tables. Easy to walk into town to enjoy shopping and dining. The perfect place for an enjoyable experience in Rocky Mountain House.

The room had easy outside access to the parking at the door, the room was very clean like we were the first ones to ever stay there, it was quiet and had a coffee machine and fridge. It wasn’t easy to find as hidden by trees but the access to the highway was easy.

It’s very close to the highway so easy access to the town by car and yet set back far enough to be very quiet. Also close enough to town to walk to “ Main Street “ and the many restaurants and shops. The staff was always available and helpful I would definitely stay here again.

A good choice in RMH. Great easy check in & clean rooms, great for work crews. I stayed there with the missus and kids, close to a walking trail to take you to downtown. An affordable alternative to big chains. As an aside Rocky Mountain House is a cool little town. Well done all around.

Extra good value room with no air conditioner, but we were offered a fan which was nice. Room serviced daily and towels changed which we did not expect. A little out of town but no issue with a car. A little tricky to find. When you have been past town and when you seem to have missed it get ready to turn left at 52nd St. Mainly used by workmen, but that is not a problem

The young man at the reception was very helpful! He was always ready to accommodate whatever I asked for! It is extremely economical place to stay for families, I have been travelling solo, I would also recommend this place for solo travellers too, nightly rates are under $100! It is very important note that, DO NOT order anything from Ritz Cafe Chinese restaurant, I ordered spring rolls were at least a week old and had only chunky cut cabbage in it, tasted like it was picked up from a garbage, also their wonton soup was so awful tasting like dirty dish water! I also ordered deep fried shrimps, they looked like chicken drumsticks with the not cooked dough around them, inside was tiny shrimps floating in the not cooked liquidy dough! Needless to say that I had to throw everything to the garbage, for $40, I could only have little bite to taste these so called Chinese food! By the way I love Chinese food! If you do too, make sure to avoid this restaurant at any cost!

There is no food offered on the premises but is very close to many different food options. The bed and room were clean and comfortable but my husband is disabled and had a hard time going up the stairs (which were wobbly and broken) but other than that my dog was accommodated and we were within a short distance to walking trails and grassy areas. We definately stay again. We have already stayed many times before and never a complaint.

The outside of the hotel looks deceiving, but the inside of the rooms are pretty decent and it’s very clean. If you’re on a budget and want half decent hotel, I’d say that I’m not worried about bedbugs from this place it was really clean… And you could tell that it is a budget motel but they did try to update it so it was fairly OK. But don’t expect any perks. It’s just a clean place to sleep for the night. If I needed to, I would stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised at the new, clean carpet and marble looking tiles. Beds were comfortable. We stayed in the brown building with the windows looking at the back alley and neighbor's yard. Not the best, but it was relatively quiet. We didn't hear the road noise. We would stay here again.

With a fridge and microwave in the unit, clean rooms and close parking I have nothing more to ask for. If that's what you're after this is five star, if you want an in building bar and restaurant than this doesn't have it but boy you save a lot of money. I will certainly be back on my next motorcycle trip, sat outside and shot the breeze with a few people and they were all nice and polite as were the staff. I highly recommend this place and I will be back myself.
