Einfache Unterkunft für 1-2 Tage, Bett war bequem sonst etwas ältere Ausstattung, aber sauber. Gut gelegen und ein Parkplatz hat sich auch immer gefunden. Nettes Personal und schlichtes Frühstücksbuffet.

Good if you are taking flight. Close from airport. Cheap and clean good option if you are tight on budget. We got room at 3rd floor walk up. Not something I prefer with luggage. Parking was bad. No parking available.

Wir haben uns in der Residencial Família wohlgefühlt.Besonders hat uns der Ausblick auf die Bucht und das Meer von unserem Balkon aus gefallen.Es gab genug Parkplätze vor dem Hotel. Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war landestypisch,frisch zubereitet und reichlich.Auch Einheimische besuchen das Restaurant. Der Hotelinhaber ging auf unsere Wünsche ein. Das Hotel liegt fußläufig central.

Einen kostenlosen Parkplatz haben wir jeden Tag gefunden. Hafen und Zentrum mit Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Zimmer war toll, besonders der Blick vom Balkon auf den Strand und Hafen. Der Betreiber ist sehr hilfsbereit. Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Frühstück ist eher was zum Starten und jeden Tag gleich. Es ist aber okay und der Kaffee ist sehr gut. Wir sind uns einig, dass wir dort wieder buchen würden.

Hôtel bien situé, proche de l’aéroport (5min en voiture), du centre ville de Machico et de la plage ( moins de 10min à pied) avec superbe vue mer. Parking disponible en bas de l’immeuble..Très propre. Petit déjeuner complet (pain, croissants, céréales, fruits…). Propriétaire au petit soin avec ses clients. Nous recommandons vivement !

Hôtel très agréable et confortable. La propreté est remarquable. Sa situation dans Machico est parfaite ( proche de la plage et des restaurants). Juste un peu compliqué pour obtenir le code de l'armoire où se trouve les clés mais tout s'arrange rapidement avec un appel téléphonique au concierge qui parle plusieurs langues. Les petits déjeuners sont variés et copieux.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout était propre, avec un nettoyage quotidien et le changement de serviettes chaque jour, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et varié, un vrai plus pour bien commencer la journée. L’emplacement est idéal, proche de tout. Je recommande à 100 % !

Mauvaise expérience pour nous. Nous n'y retournerons jamais. L'accueil n'était pas absolument pas aimable. Il y a beaucoup de moisissures au plafond dans la salle de bain. Nous avions demandé à l'avance un lit bébé (proposé dans l'annonce). Pas de réponse à cette demande. En arrivant nous demandons s'il est bien prévu dans la chambre et le propriétaire nous dit Oui. En arrivant, pas de lit bébé. Pensant à un simple oubli, nous retournons le voir et finalement il nous dit qu'il n'en a qu'un et qu'il est déjà utilisé (nous doutons même de cette version après coup) et à force de lui exlique qu'un enfant d'un an et demi ne peut pas dormir dans un lit d'adulte ...Il finit par nous faire ramener un petit matelas à poser au sol dans un état douteux. Bref notre bébé a dormi avec nous pour sécuriser... En plus de cela il nous a clairement montré qu'il n'avait aucune envie de nous aider. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel exprès car il proposait cet équipement. Nous serions allés ailleurs sinon.

This is a difficult rating. Very clean place, friendly. Great location, close to Airport, close to down town Machico. Machico even has a sand beach. Had a nice breakfast room with a filling cold breakfast. Room was a a little small. The biggest problem was the shower drain was very slow, and shower head push out a large amount of water, ended up flooding the bathroom a couple times. Ran out of hot water one day, may have been due to three toung women that just arrived. Only happened once. The second problem was internet did not work well in the room, was excellent in the breakfast room though, said they were fixing it. Glad we stayed as plan arrived late and was able to get a Bolt to the place. Rented a car later and round free parking near there. It may depend on individual circumstances on wanting to stay there.

Affordable and pleasant. The room itself was really small and we had to maneuver around the bed but overall we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, right next to dinning options and the beach. The owner was very sweet and kind. Would stay here again.

A l’arrivée, on nous annonce que faute de sur booking on sera relogés au 4 étoiles d’en face (Dom Pedro). Nous avions réservé une chambre en lit double avec vue mer dans un petit hôtel familial et on s’est retrouvés dans une chambre avec 2 lits jumeaux quasi au sous sol avec vue sur un mur dans un hôtel de tourisme de masse. La chambre était tellement bruyante qu’on a fini (ce que nous détestons faire) par demander à changer, ce qui a été accepté grâce au soutien du gérant de l’hôtel où nous avions initialement réservé. Petit dej de masse en volume mais pas en qualité à l’image de l’hôtel usine. Dommage.
A l’arrivée, on nous annonce que faute de sur booking on sera relogés au 4 étoiles d’en face (Dom Pedro). Nous avions réservé une chambre en lit double avec vue mer dans un petit hôtel familial et on s’est retrouvés dans une chambre avec 2 lits jumeaux quasi au sous sol avec vue sur un mur dans un hôtel de tourisme de masse. La chambre était tellement bruyante qu’on a fini (ce que nous détestons faire) par demander à changer, ce qui a été accepté grâce au soutien du gérant de l’hôtel où nous avions initialement réservé. Petit dej de masse en volume mais pas en qualité à l’image de l’hôtel usine. Dommage.

Due to our flight being delayed we arrived at the hotel later than planned. This was however not a problem as the owner had sent us a message previously telling us how to use the key safe to collect our keys. Our first floor room was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was wonderful. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was a shame but the mini fridge was very handy. The whole hotel was spotless and our room was made up each day. Breakfast was continental and there was plenty of it, you just helped yourself to what you wanted. Antonio, the owner, would serve fresh tea/coffee at your table and happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the area or getting about. The hotel is situated in a very convenient location. Just a 5 minute walk and you reach the various cafes and restaurants and another 5 minutes you can get to the shops or the lovely beach. We used the bus service but if needed there is a taxi rank just outside the hotel. All in all we enjoyed a lovely week in beautiful Madeira.

Our reservation was not honoured upon arrival due to over booking/prioritize groups. We were not notified in advance. Residential familiar arranged alternative hotel that was satisfactory but should not be taking Expedia reservations they can not honour.

Mauvaise expérience pour nous. Nous n'y retournerons jamais. L'accueil n'était pas absolument pas aimable. Il y a beaucoup de moisissures au plafond dans la salle de bain. Nous avions demandé à l'avance un lit bébé (proposé dans l'annonce). Pas de réponse à cette demande. En arrivant nous demandons s'il est bien prévu dans la chambre et le propriétaire nous dit Oui. En arrivant, pas de lit bébé. Pensant à un simple oubli, nous retournons le voir et finalement il nous dit qu'il n'en a qu'un et qu'il est déjà utilisé (nous doutons même de cette version après coup) et à force de lui exlique qu'un enfant d'un an et demi ne peut pas dormir dans un lit d'adulte ...Il finit par nous faire ramener un petit matelas à poser au sol dans un état douteux. Bref notre bébé a dormi avec nous pour sécuriser... En plus de cela il nous a clairement montré qu'il n'avait aucune envie de nous aider. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel exprès car il proposait cet équipement. Nous serions allés ailleurs sinon.

Nous avons séjourner seulement une nuit à cet endroit, mais ce fut un excellent choix. L’hôte était très sympathique et il nous a même reservé un taxi en direction de l’aéroport très tôt le matin. La chambre était propre et convenait amplement à nos besoins. L’hébergement est près de plusieurs restaurants, de la plage et des autres services. Merci pour ce court séjour !

L’hôtel a une très bonne situation pour pouvoir visiter Machico à pieds, ainsi qu’une superbe tranquillité. Le ménage est effectué tout les jours et bien. Le petit-déjeuner est simple mais complet. Simple pour se garer, accès à deux pas de la route principale pour visiter l’île. Restaurant et Bar top aux alentours.
L’hôtel a une très bonne situation pour pouvoir visiter Machico à pieds, ainsi qu’une superbe tranquillité. Le ménage est effectué tout les jours et bien. Le petit-déjeuner est simple mais complet. Great accomodation in Machico. Very good communication when arriving late to pick up key. Breakfast was fab with some of the best bread I have ever tasted. Room was great with a view over the Ponta de sao lourenço, has very good bus links to other parts of the island and some great walks in the local vicinity. Also very close to all amenities in Machico. Bus station 10 minutes walk but there is also a bus stop within 4 minutes walk. Bed super comfy and the shower unit superb. Would definitely recommend and would use again. Cheers😁😁

Affordable and pleasant. The room itself was really small and we had to maneuver around the bed but overall we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, right next to dinning options and the beach. The owner was very sweet and kind. Would stay here again.

Hôtel bien situé, proche de l’aéroport (5min en voiture), du centre ville de Machico et de la plage ( moins de 10min à pied) avec superbe vue mer. Parking disponible en bas de l’immeuble..Très propre. Petit déjeuner complet (pain, croissants, céréales, fruits…). Propriétaire au petit soin avec ses clients. Nous recommandons vivement !

Hôtel très agréable et confortable. La propreté est remarquable. Sa situation dans Machico est parfaite ( proche de la plage et des restaurants). Juste un peu compliqué pour obtenir le code de l'armoire où se trouve les clés mais tout s'arrange rapidement avec un appel téléphonique au concierge qui parle plusieurs langues. Les petits déjeuners sont variés et copieux.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout était propre, avec un nettoyage quotidien et le changement de serviettes chaque jour, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et varié, un vrai plus pour bien commencer la journée. L’emplacement est idéal, proche de tout. Je recommande à 100 % !

Wir haben uns in der Residencial Família wohlgefühlt.Besonders hat uns der Ausblick auf die Bucht und das Meer von unserem Balkon aus gefallen.Es gab genug Parkplätze vor dem Hotel. Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war landestypisch,frisch zubereitet und reichlich.Auch Einheimische besuchen das Restaurant. Der Hotelinhaber ging auf unsere Wünsche ein. Das Hotel liegt fußläufig central.

Very nice family hotel. Breakfast was great thank you. Unfortunately we didn't arrive until 3.15am and the hotel was closed however we phoned an emergency no. and a member of staff gave us a key code to access the key. Few minutes walk to the promenade very well maintained. Currently building work at hotel. Thanks for our breakfast and coffee this morning. Regards Sean & Melanie

Went at 11am to check in and was told the check in was at 2 pm (on Expedia it said 11. ) After waiting we got a room with 1 bed instead of 2 double beds, Due to a cancellation we were able to get a bigger room with 2 beds. The other issue was that there was no A/C. It would have been great if they had a portable/ standing fan for the summer. It was hot with no breeze. Also it would have been helpful if it was informed on the booking sites. There was construction/remodeling above us and they were working while we were there and it was loud. Parking was also an issue nothing nearby. Breakfast was ok. On the positive note the view was nice and the rooms were clean.
