Sacramento Inn & Suites Cal Expo I-80

The place was surrounded by homeless people and other random people lurking around in the parking lot. I felt it was too unsafe so left. Did not get out of car.

Didn't actually end up staying. Bad area, police on the e property investigating an incident apparently, gated access to parking lot and units, questionable clientele.

Prostitutes all around cars getting broken into the halls smell like urine the room is not even close to whats advertised our t.v didn't work the smoke alarm was ripped out of the ceiling and stuffed into a drawer the shower floor felt like it was going to cave in and holes in the bathroom door and walls

I feel lied to by google and Expedia. The photos represented online are NOT a representation of what this place is in person. It is a heroine hotel. The area itself is NOT safe, do not come here alone and if you do BRING A DOG. The attendees are doing drugs in the parking lot, fighting with each other, and I watched a dude take a fat crap in the Chevron parking lot across the street while his partner cheered him on (won’t lie, I laughed). However…the people are just trying to get by and will leave you alone for the most part. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When we rolled in at midnight (drove for about 14 hours) the hotel (I’m assuming manager or owner) showed us to our parking spot, and helped carry our bags up to the second floor. I think he did this because he knew we were really freaked out by the environment and that speaks volumes. The property is absolutely trashed. The rooms are not clean, the doors barely locked, it’s loud and sketchy asf. It’s overrun by drug addicts and sex workers just trying to get by. The price I paid for one night was a little crazy but whatever. The only saving grace is the awesome staff and I can’t thank them enough for making us feel a slightly more at ease. Them and the one wacked out couple that pet my dog and told her she was a very good girl.

Well they are in the middle of renovating I paid for a deluxe room witch is supposed to have all the amenities and it didn’t have a microwave or fridge ect, and the tv didn’t work unless I hooked my laptop up to it to watch movies my room didn’t have any towels or soap and the floor was really sticky from I don’t know what

Bathroom door did not close, questionable people hanging around outside, condoms on the ground. Not for the weak.

It was a decent place for the price. Looked like it was undergoing maintenance at the time. Beds were comfortable & room was clean.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. Stay away unless you like roaches and cigarette burns on the bedding.

The most horrible place I’ve seen, I didn’t even stayed in the room, I specifically ask for a non smoking room, I notices sheets burned and debris in room, dirty towels, horrible experience.

I was very uncomfortable due to seeing coachroaches in my room in the middle of the night, and when I woke up in the morning.

This place is falsely advertised. It's extremely dirty with urine and smoke scents throughout. We walked out and demanded a refund.

Horrible hotel, no control. Bed was hard as a rock. Paint patches on the ceiling, missing smoke detector. Countertop duck taped. Bathroom shower leaked water like crazy. Ac unit made loud noise. No security people playing loud music

I really enjoyed all the types of ppl n the surroundin areas. And the fact that there was a lot of stores to go to. What I didn't like was tht it was right by freeway

The staff was nice at check in. On the negative side, the room smelled of a cigarettes smoke so badly, it was hard to sleep there (we ordered non-smoking room). The room inside needs a good maintenance (some mold in the bathroom, stains everywhere etc). And the noise level around the hotel is beyond bearable (the hwy trucks nonstop through the night, other guests in nearby rooms, the windows and walls, I guess are very thin so you can hear everything). For the price you pay, you get what you pay for.

The drawers were all written on and broken the walls had writing all over them.

Curtains in room did not close fully, were falling off curtain rod. Air did not work. No screen on window. Graffiti on room lamps/ dirty/crumbled looking. No extra towel for feet when getting out of shower. Water all over the floor cause shower curtain wasn’t working properly. Screaming and yelling happening from 3am-6am. I guess it was why it was so cheap. Crap hotel, but you get what you pay for.

Centrally located

This is the worst place to stay. The pictures make it look nice, but the reality is very different. The area and the people are unpleasant. Save yourself the headache and avoid staying here. Void this place!!!!
