We truly enjoyed our stay at Cosmopoita. The suites were very nice -- spacious with a relatively updated modern clean furnishing, and with a great view of the beach. The bathroom was also spacious with strong water pressure. The hotel was perfectly located in front of the beach, near restaurants, bar and shopping. The negatives: no parking available near the hotel (just a drop off but there is electric charging stations), the room rugs were stained (one more than the other), there was no real gym, just a couple cardio machines (tread mill, elliptical I think, and one more that I can't recall). It was very nice that there were some beach chairs and umbrellas in front of the hotel, but you had to get there early and had to pay for them. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would say it was a solid 4* hotel that's worth a stay. We went as a family, had a great time and would go back again!

Just spent 4 nights here. Very friendly staff. Free use of the Spa and Sauna. Excellent Breakfast. Very comfy Beds and Air conditioned spacious rooms. Only down side was there’s limited Parking and the nearest Carpark is a 10 minute walk and €20 day. Plus the Hotels own Beach Beds are €7 an hour. Apart from these 2 little niggles all good.

Le personnel de l accueil etait sympathique.Le petit dejeuner est fort sympathique avec beaucoup de choix.Le roof top ainsi que le SPA sont bien.Pour la chambre, le lit est confortable et la climatisation indispensable.Le Wifi gratuit de l hotel est un plus.Par contre nous ne recommandons pas le retaurant.Accueil deplorable avec un serveur condescendant car nous ne parlons pas l Espagnol(uniquement le Francais et L'anglais).attente interminable d'un plat arrivé 30 minutes apres les autres.Aucune gentillesse

The property itself was nice and the front desk staff were very helpful and spoke English well. It's located two blocks from great shopping and restaurants, of course, it's beachfront so that's convenient. The only problem I ran into is there is no onsite parking. They kindly walked me a block and a half away to show me a small underground parking area where they have 3 designated spots for which they charge $50 for. The parking spots were very narrow but it was not too hard getting my car into a spot because the spot next it was empty. Getting my car out was a little difficult and took a lot of patience but I was able to out. When I came back later that night, I discovered someone had taken my spot and there were no others left. Getting my car turned around to get out of the garage was at times a bit terrifying bc I came within inches of bumping other vehicles just to get it turned around. Once I got out, I found a large public parking lot that was a lot cheaper and easier to navigate. It was a tad further away but not too bad. There was no lighting in the underground garage where the hotel spots were, but the public lot and all of the pathways and streets to get back to the hotel were all very well lit and felt safe. Highly recommend choosing the public lot vs the hotel parking garage. Other than that, my experience was great.

Hôtel bien situé, au centre-ville, à quelques mètres de la plage et à quelques rues de l'avenue commerçante de Platja d'Aro. Il est donc possible de se déplacer à pieds sans problème. Seul vrai problématique, pas de places suffisantes dans le parking dédié. Donc obligation d'aller se garer à plusieurs centaines de mètres dans un des parkings gratuits ou payants de la commune, une fois déchargés les bagages. Chambre spacieuse (suite vue mer), équipée d'un frigo d'une buanderie et d'un coffre-fort. Lit double confortable. Salle de bains proposant 2 vasques, une douche type italienne et une baignoire / jacuzzi, ce qui est appréciable, bien que les WC ne soient pas séparés. Appréciable aussi, l'accès au SPA et le petit-déjeuner qui sont compris dans le prix de la chambre, sans supplément. Petit-déjeuner très correct, manque juste du jus d'orange pressé. Chiens acceptés.

Très bel hôtel situé en bord de mer et en même temps en centre ville. Nous y venons passer un week-end plusieurs fois par ans et je trouve que le rapport qualité prix est top, le service est impeccable et l'hôtel très propre. Le petit déjeuner est varié et délicieux surtout quand il fait beau et qu'on peut le prendre au bord de la mer.

We really enjoyed our stay- hotel location and staff were excellent and my comments below didn’t spoil the experience but I thought I’d mention them. We stayed early October and I think the hotel showed signs of wear and tear from the holiday season. It didn’t really detract from our enjoyment but there were for instance lots of stains on the corridor and room carpets, the dining chairs were well used so you would sink into them- not easy to eat from a low position. Shower cubicle had mildew and room furniture showed signs of damage, chipped tables, cupboard doors and stains on chairs etc. I would have liked there to be power to sockets once I left the room. I appreciate the eco friendly aspect to conserve energy but I had numerous devices which needed charging - phone, tablet, garmin and watch - but could only charge whilst I was in there and I only had two chargers.

The location is great, the hotel stands out of all hotel range on the first beach line. It’s in the center of everything.However with years it looks like the hotel doesn’t have the “owner” it becomes neglected in terms of cleanliness and keeping the property in shape. The bedsheets are nice, but they are not tucked in properly or are the wrong size, keep sliding off. There is a deficit of beach towels, it is either water shortage problem or the laundry management. Breakfast remains the same over the years, but it would be nice to have a choice of eggs (not just scrambled, but hard-boiled for instance). It would be great to replenish the toiletries every other day (or introduce bigger bottles).

Loved the hotel, the staff are very hard working, professional and friendly. We had a family room and it was huge with a double balcony, big bathroom with double basins (why does the shower not attach to the wall?? Had to shower sitting down in the bath). I would advise you take earplugs though, as we were not familiar with the town and it is awake all night, noisy cars, bikes and revellers will disturb you if you live somewhere quiet like us. We didn’t use the rooftop pool as we used the sun beds out front, the bar serving drinks and snacks was very convenient. The breakfast is very basic, they charge extra if you want other items such as freshly squeezed OJ or your egg fried instead of scrambled. The croissants were inexplicably tiny but very delicious. Beach towels are provided. We even managed a walk to the water park which the kids loved, about 20 minutes on foot.

La primera: las ventanas no aíslan del ruido, y se oye gente gritando desde la calle o desde la planta baja. La segunda: las ventanas de las habitaciones cercanas, probablemente medio-abiertas, que siguieron moviéndose con chirridos desde las 6 de la mañana.

Kamer was gedateerd en toe aan een opknapbeurt. Het dakterras zag er erg mooi uit. Daarnaast een goed ontbijt gehad in het bijbehorende restaurant. In de buurt van de winkels en het strand voor de deur, ideaal!

Le personnel qui parle Français pour la plupart a été au top, très accueillant avec le sourire et bonnes explications. Ils nous ont annoncé à notre arrivée que nous étions surclassés ce qui était appréciable et gentil de leur part même si nous aurions préféré une chambre avec vue mer le geste est quand même là. Par contre concernant la chambre la climatisation ne fonctionne pas et il y a un gros bruit de ventilation permanent qui est assez désagréable et peut empêcher de dormir. After a long journey, it was so nice to be greeted with a welcoming staff. Jana, Hussane and team were so helpful, cheerful, and anxious to help us celebrate our anniversary. We book a suite and was the perfect setting for us overlooking the sea. The team was always available for any want. The dining staff manager Edwardo went over the top to make us feel welcomed and offering any amenities. The wait staff was very professional and helpful. Bar services were fantastic. Miranda was pleasant and always available for whatever we might need. As well as Erik, Niko, and Fatima. Maid service was phenomenal. We had full board, but I would recommend half board, since there are so many walkable shops, and restaurants. Great beachfront resort!

Cerise sur le gâteau : la vue mer depuis les chambres est à couper le souffle, un must absolu (pensez à réserver une chambre avec vue mer, ça vaut vraiment le coup !). Loved the hotel, the staff are very hard working, professional and friendly. We had a family room and it was huge with a double balcony, big bathroom with double basins (why does the shower not attach to the wall?? Had to shower sitting down in the bath). I would advise you take earplugs though, as we were not familiar with the town and it is awake all night, noisy cars, bikes and revellers will disturb you if you live somewhere quiet like us. We didn’t use the rooftop pool as we used the sun beds out front, the bar serving drinks and snacks was very convenient. The breakfast is very basic, they charge extra if you want other items such as freshly squeezed OJ or your egg fried instead of scrambled. The croissants were inexplicably tiny but very delicious. Beach towels are provided. We even managed a walk to the water park which the kids loved, about 20 minutes on foot.

Donc obligation d'aller se garer à plusieurs centaines de mètres dans un des parkings gratuits ou payants de la commune, une fois déchargés les bagages. Salle de bains proposant 2 vasques, une douche type italienne et une baignoire / jacuzzi, ce qui est appréciable, bien que les WC ne soient pas séparés. Appréciable aussi, l'accès au SPA et le petit-déjeuner qui sont compris dans le prix de la chambre, sans supplément. Petit-déjeuner très correct, manque juste du jus d'orange pressé. Chiens acceptés.

The location is great, the hotel stands out of all hotel range on the first beach line. It’s in the center of everything.However with years it looks like the hotel doesn’t have the “owner” it becomes neglected in terms of cleanliness and keeping the property in shape. The bedsheets are nice, but they are not tucked in properly or are the wrong size, keep sliding off. There is a deficit of beach towels, it is either water shortage problem or the laundry management. Breakfast remains the same over the years, but it would be nice to have a choice of eggs (not just scrambled, but hard-boiled for instance). It would be great to replenish the toiletries every other day (or introduce bigger bottles).

Each morning started with the most deluxe breakfast spread with delicious and fresh salmon, eggs, bacon and sausage, grilled vegetables. An assortment of breads, croissants of different kinds then your variety of cheeses and cold cuts… absolutely fabulous. From there, each room was cleaned every morning and replenished with a complimentary bottle of champagne. The staff was so kind and helpful throughout our stay and helped us with any daily tour guide assistance. The free use of the daily spa was over the top, an amenity that set the bar for any hotel we find in the future. The rooftop pool and fitness room with the views out to the Mediterranean ocean was just paradise. This hotel easily is on the top of our list and the price was amazingly reasonable. Our room had an ocean view and we were so blown away. If you are looking for a place at Platja D’Aro I would recommend this hotel a thousand times. It was truly fantastic. After a week in Barcelona and walking around all day in the City, a retreat to Costa Brava and the Cosmopolita just put the finest bow around an incredible experience in Spain!!!
