SW Bed & Breakfast

Our host was friendly and accomodating, allowing us to check in early so we could attend an event at the county ground. The decor and cleanliness were of a high standard and the breakfast was very good. We highly recommend it.

The check in and check out times of 5.00pm and 9.00am respectively struck me as rather restrictive. However, the owner, Sara, was most accommodating in allowing us to check in at 3.00pm. It was appreciated. The room was very comfortable and everything a guest needs was to be found, from plush dressing gowns, for wearing when going to the toilet which was not en suite per se, but next to the bedroom we stayed in, to slippers, a hair dryer and a mirror, to an iron and ironing board. Even the mugs for the tea and coffee set up were a good size. The house was quiet, the bed comfortable and cleanliness was excellent. Thus, I would have no qualms about returning to SW B&B and am happy to recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sara’s B&B! She was there to greet us when we arrived, and walked us through anything we needed to know. The house was lovely quiet, the room and the private bath was actually beyond our expectation! Sara had towelling robes and bath slippers in the wardrobe for guests! The room was clean and comfy, and had a kettle with teas and coffee for your convenience. Breakfast the next morning was ready when we had asked for it to be and was more than enough to start off our day (we declined the “full English” breakfast this time!) We had a lovely chat with Sara while we ate. It was like staying at a friends house! I have no issues recommending the SW Bed & Breakfast. We would not hesitate to stay again if we were in the area!
