Small but cozy room. Great bathroom and shower. Very easy to park. Definitely will stay again.

It was easy check in. We were given a code to get into room without having to stop at the front desk. Very easy. Parking was great. Right next to LL bean outlet. Walkable. Hosts graciously left snacks in room. I would definitely stay in motel again.

For one night, this would be an ok place to stay. The room is clean, t he bed comfortable and has nuce linens. No elevator for 2nd floor rooms. The room was very tight and no dresser for your luggage/clothes. Staff at front desk is available on a limited basis.

The room was pleasantly comfortable. Frig, microwave, etc. The beds were also comfortable, but, no blankets provided and the bedspread did not seem like it had been washed in a while. Still, otherwise clean, quiet, and great deal for the price. The manager was responsive to all my requests. Safe and convenient location.

The rooms looked like they were recently updated and were super clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked that you didn\'t need a "key" to your room, it was a code that you just typed into the keypad on your door. There was a table and two chairs between each room on the outside for sitting or playing games which was a nice touch. Despite being fully booked, we never heard anyone else while in our room. All that being said, they need to move their sign to the other side of the entrance so that people can see it better and so that you know which building is the office. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely be staying again.

The room smelled and appeared clean upon arrival. The bedding was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean. The next morning we found candy bar wrappers and mold behind the bedside tables. The room itself was small, which is fine, but the setup was odd. No counter space at all in bathroom. Smallest coffee maker I’ve ever seen in room. Not worth using. TV was very difficult to figure out. Restaurant was closed “for renovations”. Staff seemed fairly friendly, but had limited office hours. Someone was available by phone if needed. We had a family emergency and needed to leave three days early. There was plenty of vacancy, but they would only refund us one day. The manager asked if we would return for another stay. Umm, not a chance. I read some poor reviews before going and thought people were being too nitpicky. Not the case at all. Plenty of places to stay in the area. Do yourself a favor and choose another one.

Convenient, cost-friendly location 19 miles from Bar Harbor, across from a strip mall with supermarket, Wendy's and two laundromats. Plush towels, electric air freshener and complimentary snacks/beverages in room. Drawbacks: No alarm clock. Front desk infrequently staffed between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., with phone availability only during other times. Housekeeper didn't make bed, vacuum, clean toilet or replace coffee packets and tissues. Dead rat in parking lot during one day of our four-day stay. Unappealing overall. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Terrible daily housekeeping service, had problem with TV. Sink drain backed up. Holes in sheets. Hole in bath towel. Generally poor upkeep

Room and bathroom has been remodeled, most likely after a bathroom flood. Room was clean but had a moldy odor, would not recommend staying.

Clean room, easy check in and comfortable stay

This property may have been suitable in the 1950s. It looks like a former truck stop. Singles converted to doubles. Limited space. Difficult to move around. TV set 8 feet above floor.

Check in details were texted and made checking in easy. Room was a little small but clean. Nice big shower with hot water. Snacks and drinks in room.

The air didn’t work well enough to cool the room. The beds weren’t very comfortable. The room was very clean, check in and out was easy, and the water and snacks were a great touch.

Great location! First look at arrival looks a bit dated but rooms were remodeled and very nice!

My only complaint was that the walls are thin and you could hear people talking outside and road noise. Other than that, it was great.

Internet does not work!

This is a remodeled 50's style motel. The rooms are clean and functional but very small and spartan. No staff at the office ever. No coffee, no amenities. The bed was very uncomfortable. At the very least you should have a comfortable bed for the prices they charge for a room.

The rooms seem recently renovated with luxurious furnishings and bedding. The bathroom had a nice heater in it, which was nice with the cold weather. The staff were very communicative and helpful and facilitated self-check-in. Our only complaints were that the floors were very creaky (may be bothersome for people on first floor) and that the internet was very slow and unreliable.

Easy access to Acadia, which was our main purpose for the trip. Ellsworth has more shopping (e.g., grocery) and amenities (e.g., restaurants) than expected. Rooms were a bit smaller than expected, but quite functional. Staff was quite responsive to questions and requests.

Staff was not available when we needed something. Office closed early in the evening and opened late in morning. Had to text for coffee cups and had questions about snacks and water in room. Did not response in a timely manner.

Only spent nights here as we were out seeing the park. Had an issue with a noisy neighbor but was resolved by the management in a prompt manner

Staff was very pro active in their assistance. Snack basket was an unexpected treat.

Had a late check-in which was communicated with staff in advance. They were gracious and proactive with sharing check-in details. Upon arrival however, the door code we were given didn’t work, and no one was responsive to the phone number, the text number, or the office and we are currently sleeping in the car. When the text says “we are always here for you. If you need any assistance call or text” and they most definitely are not there, it’s not good optics. We won’t stay here again.

The staff went overboard in our care. I managed to get a virus before arrival. They let us have the room early, added extra kleenex, treats and coffee. Room was immaculate and cozy. Convenient to everything. Great restaurant for dinner, Lobster Pot just 5 mins. away. Only 20 mins. to Acadia Nat'l Park. and Bar Harbor. Pizza Hut nearby too. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay! The rooms are clean, warm and safe! Check-in and check-out were very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

All transactions were done by text. That made everything easy

The property itself was what you'd expect from a motel. We had issues from the start. We couldn't open the door using the code that was texted to us. A fellow traveler staying a few doors down had to show us how to get the door open. (This was after I'd texted and called the main office.) Once we got inside, the water pressure in the sink was stronger than in the shower, where the water merely trickled. The deadbolt on the door wouldn’t lock, so we put a security latch on it. The next morning, we couldn’t get out of the room because the latch had gotten stuck in the door. I called for help again, and maintenance came to assist. He had to go through our neighbor's door to reach us and then stood there for a while trying to figure out how to open the door. Meanwhile, the manager called and yelled at me for putting extra security on our door. She insisted that the lock was new and that there might not be a way to open the door, citing it as a safe neighborhood, etc. She ranted for about three minutes, complaining that we had messed up the door. I let her yell and simply apologized. After I hung up, the maintenance worker popped the door open and we received another talking to about keeping things out of the door. Sorry, but I've seen way too many movies where not keeping yourself safe in a room did not end well. Overall, if I ever end up in Ellsworth again, I'll look for another place to stay.

I would NOT stay here again. I was given the wrong code to my room. Then given the correct code. Then at 9:00 at night when I was sleeping to get up for an early work presentation I was awoken by someone trying to get into my room! Obviously fearful wasn’t sure what to do. When I opened the door the person said they were given my room number as their room! Do not stay here!!! Terrible service

The location is in a commercial area, busy highway, but very close by car to the shopping area and interesting Main St. Easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor without the high costs of that area. The room was very comfortable with thoughtful touches. The many live flower boxes decorating the outside balcony made the entire place look cheerful and inviting. I would definitely recommend it.

The room was clean and comfortable. Average amenities but included good bed, fridge and coffee maker. The motel is on a busy road but our room was quiet. There were restaurants within easy waking distance. The reception was unusual as there was no one on site. The owner texted us the room number and entrance combination.

Hotel is very clean and comfortable.Very well maintained. Shopping is right across the street. Acadia park is amazing!

I nice and convenient place to stay in Ellsworth Maine, about a 30 min drive from the main visitor center for Acadia National Park.

The inn was centrally located,very close to Acadia National Park. The vicinity has many dining options. The inn was very comfortable,and clean.

Great place for a reasonable price! Just stayed there for the weekend to do Acadia National Park. I like how you don’t have to worry about a room key, because it’s a pin pad. Also, Martha’s Diner across the street is a good breakfast spot.

We booked it at the last minute but the owners were right there to guide us through self check-in and answer any questions we had. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary snacks in the room. They provided 2 free Cokes and 2 Milky Way bars in the room! We loved the location, too, with easy access to restaurants and Sylvia’s Cafe for a great breakfast.

You had to dial a number any time you wanted to talk to staff. Front desk unmanned. The ad stated there was an attached Italian Restaurant that had obviously been closed for a long time.

Spent 4 nights here. Comfortable. No continental breakfast. Keurig type coffee maker in room.

The checkin was entirely by phone and that went fine. I never saw a human. There were several nice touches in the room—an air purifier, two bottles of water plenty of towels and tissues, room clean, ac worked fine, property near convenience stores, pharmacy and good restaurants

The room was clean and the bathroom was updated. Had a microwave and mini fridge. The staff was friendly. It was convenient to shopping and restaurants. Close to Arcadia National Park. You can walk to some restaurants which was nice. Good location. Parking was great and secure. Highly recommend.

Cheap and cheerful. Great starting point for Acadia. Easy to find, large carpark, self checkin with a code. Basic but everything you need to sleep over. Water and snacks were a nice touch.
