Apple Store Cottage

An excellent choice for our break to the Cotswolds. The location of the cottage in the private grounds of the owners house gave us the privacy and quietness we were looking for. The owners introduced themselves to us on arrival but were otherwise in the background, although available if necessary. A small problem with the bathroom washbasin was resolved immediately after reporting. One of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in.

We were hoping for high quality accommodation in a pretty area for our relaxing Spring break. This was exactly what we got! Possibly the best cottage we have stayed in. Very well equipped, super comfy bed, luxurious shower gel, handwash and lotions. Overlooking the most pretty garden. Central to the village and the local pubs. We particularly liked the Rose and Crown. Charlbury well sited for visiting Oxford, Woodstock and other Cotswold towns. Will definitely recommend Apple Store Cottage to our friends and will likely return ourselves.

This cottage is absolutely stunning as well as being a warm, cosy and comfortable retreat. We stayed here for 4 nights and didn’t want to leave! The bed was super comfortable and the location is quiet but convenient - the pub at the bottom of the drive was a real bonus for a last minute meal on our first night! The owner was lovely and on hand if needed without being intrusive. This is definitely one of best cottages we have ever stayed in and we would love to go back.
