Sun Island Hotel & Spa Kuta

いきと帰りで空港利用しましたが、空港に近くて便利でした。写真より古く、廊下等がカビ臭いのですが、慣れると部屋では不自由しませんでした。歯ブラシや追加ミネラルウォーターは言えば貰えました。バスタブ付きを希望していたはずでしたが、行きでは叶わず、帰りは最上階の角部屋でお風呂も広くよかったです。

Good place to stay for a short visit. This was my second stay at Sun Island and i would love to be back soon. Thanks for the service ; specially Deva at reception is awesome guy. Cheers

Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find the hotel in noticeably poor condition. It may have been a four-star property when it first opened, but it no longer meets that standard. The rooms were damp, and the air conditioning units were noisy. The sound insulation was very poor — we were woken up multiple times each night due to noise from other rooms and the corridor. The bathrooms were not clean, with black mold visible around the drains. We requested a room change, but the second room was in similar condition. Staff interactions were not particularly welcoming. When we asked to borrow beach towels, we were told there was a 600k IDR deposit required. As we only had 500k IDR in cash, we were instructed to walk to the nearest ATM — about a 15-minute walk away — rather than being offered a more practical solution. Breakfast was also disappointing, consisting mainly of oily noodles and deep-fried local dishes, with limited options for international guests. Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel in its current state.
