I love old motels. There’s just a charm to them reminds me of my childhood. However, so many of them have turned into sub standard housing. I was a little concerned when my husband booked this place. Im a freak about cleanliness. Well, it was absolutely charming, very clean, up to my standards, the housekeeper was a wonderful young man who obviously worked hard. I always leave housekeeping a tip, and he was so gracious every morning thanking me. The grounds were very well maintained lovely clean pool.. All outdoor lighting worked and was modern. A few outdoor sitting areas with lovely picnic tables. My only concern was it was loud being off a major artery. But did not interrupt our sleep. If you want to experience that old school motel feel in a modern clean environment. this is your place to go.

Clean motel with a great pool.

The staff is wonderful and the pool is beautiful!!!! Not handicap accessible. The rise to get into your door is about 5-6 inches. You cannot rely on your scooter to get in and out of the door. I am in a wheelchair and I had to drag my wheelchair in and out of the door each time I went in and out to take my dog to potty with that 5 to 6 inch eyes that was extremely difficult for me. I’m only 115 pounds and my dog is 114 pounds But the staff was phenomenal. They helped me as much as they could and the pool is sparkling, clean and beautiful and heated. I would stay there again with having to drag my wheelchair in and out, even though that sucked.

It is an older motel, but our room was in good condition and remodeled. We had a very large room with three queen beds and a kitchen. They only complained is that the floors needed mopping more often as they made my children’s feet dirty. The pool was very clean. The staff were very accommodating. We would stay there again.

Everything was fine and the price excellent. The motel is older but very well kept. The pool was clean. The shower was large and spotless. I’d definitely stay here again.

Although the outside was not very impressive, the rooms were very nice. They had a coffee maker, refrigerator, & microwave. The room also had a kitchen table with chairs and a couch. Their heated outside pool was also very nice.

We had no hot water for our showers during our stay. A bit noisy outside not only from the highway but the other people staying at the hotel as the walls are thin. Pool was closed.

Recently renovated, small quaint motel, very close to beaches. Great pool! This was our 4th stay, and we will return.

Property was in good condition. Probably recently remodeled. Checkin was easy and staff was friendly. Property right off a main road do you can gear cars driving by when trying to sleep.

Extremely clean room that apparently had recently been painted. The tile in the bathroom shower and walls was pristine. Though I did not use them, the room had a sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and table that would have made it possible to prepare foods and not go out to a restaurant. Compared to other hotels in the area, it was reasonably priced.

The tub was clogged and i informed them, they said it was fixed but it wasn"t. You plung it with a dirry plunger and yet every shower we stood in dirty water.The don"t know how to properly clean a room it was full of hair (not ours) when we first got there i was grossed out by how dirty it was. There was cute animals made out of towels and the staff was very friendly.Sadly the fact that we paid all that money for a shower to not drain was good enough reason to not recommend this place or ever go back

I book on reviews. THIS PROPERTY IS OVER-RATED on Expedia. It was rated 8.2 out of 10 with almost 700 reviews... similar ratings as the Hampton I stayed in the next couple nights. This property wasn't even close to Hampton standards, though you could see their effort. It had fresh paint and the bathroom construction materials were quality, but there was a lack of craftsman installation. There was a bit of dirt here and there in the corners of the room and it had an odor. A hardly discernable smell of cigarette smoke was in the comforter and small stains in the bedding. I dont want to bash this property....while it was at the bottom of my tolerance for standards, it was NOT a dump and the hotel staff was very pleasant. I just wish the reviews would have reflected it more accurately. Especially considering that I paid almost $200 a night.

It was relatively inexpensive. Furniture and amenities were worn but clean. My issue was the brownish water that came out of water taps and shower. Bed was comfortable.

Clean room, comfortable beds, large mini-fridge.

The unit actually had all the working needs of the visitor. However I stayed in room 119 and there were roaches present.😡😡😡😡.

Motel is being updated, and I must say the new rooms a nice, clean, and modern. This is my 2nd stay here and will be coming back again. Never used the pool but other amenities were nice. I loved the location, minutes from the beach stores.

not bad for $65 but dirty bed sheets and loud neighbors out partying at 2am on a Tuesday night drinking in the parking lot

This was a last minute trip and this is a very busy time, got lucky to find a room here, super clean, quick check in, got in late and had to leave early so we didn’t get a chance to go in the pool but it looked nice, bathroom was renovated at looked great and was surprisingly happy about the pillowcase not being white. Have a more homey feel. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean. Did not see a single roach which is unusual for Florida.

The room was clean, the bed was fine, but wish there was different blankets. The rooms need to be sound proofed. Guests are loud and rude.

So unassuming on the outside and lovely on the inside. Very boutique rooms with a well appointed kitchenette. Super quiet and not far from the beaches. Staff was kind. We did have to ask for towels as our party of 4 only had two in the room. I’d stay here again for sure.

Great price. Room was very clean. Our only complaint was the AC was a large unit for a small room. It was difficult to get the temperature to a comfortable level and we woke up repeatedly during the night due to being too cold. The comforter was very heavy and kept slipping off the bottom of the bed which made the issue of being cold harder to deal with.

Spacious rooms. Very comfortable accommodations. Well laid-out floor plan. The kitchen area was delightful and the refrigerator/freezer was a good size to accommodate all types of foods and beverages (no mini beverage can fridge here). The beds fresh and clean. And the bathroom, nicely updated with a walk-in shower and touch control vanity mirror. Plenty of seating options, and a nice-sized flat screen TV with full entertainment channel availability, just like home. All totalled, after this experience, I will not stay anywhere else.

The room was small but comfortable. It was updated and very clean. Close to the highway but not noisy. Great for the one night I stayed.

My mom and I stayed at this property for two nights after being extremely disappointed in the place we originally booked at another property. The room was spacious and clean, the decor fun and there were two comfortable queen beds in the main room plus one more in a separate bedroom. The bathroom was clean and nicely renovated. The towels were old, so I would recommend you bring your own if something like that matters to you. There was a couch, desk, decently stocked (equipment, not food) kitchen area and a small, six person dining table that we used for puzzling. There were lots of channels to choose from on the tv and the wifi worked. There was an outdoor pool that we didn’t have time to use but that looked clean. Some people were arguing outside, late the first night and we couldn’t tell if it was guests or the owners. I can’t say if this is a regular occurrence, it only happened the one night. Overall we enjoyed the property. The size, decor, amenities and spaciousness of the rooms was pleasant and comfortable. The location in relation to the beach and downtown shopping was great. If you prefer a five star hotel experience, this isn’t it. But if you’re traveling with family on a modest budget and you need the extra space, this is a great choice.

Nice but noisy

Check in was easy, staff was very nice. Room was clean. Parking was good.

I booked a room with queen beds but was given a 1 bed king room. That would have been ok but the air conditioner made a very annoying sound. When asked about this the manager said that was the normal sound. We were finally given another room with 2 queen beds and no annoying air conditioner sounds. The rest of our stay was fine. Quiet and convenient to dining options. It is obviously in the process of updating at the motel and it will look very nice when done.

If we needed anything they were very quick in getting it to us!!

Check-in was simple and the employee was friendly. We were pleasantly surprised with the room. Comfortable beds, roomy, very clean, sufficient for our need. We will most certainly stay here again.

Comfortable clean well priced good location, plenty close by but near busy road.

Very old and worn-out. The beds were like sleeping on cardboard. The office smelled of curry. Porn club next door so there were lots of people walking around. There were only a few cars in the lot. I should of taken that as a clue.

Older, and a bit run down. Heated pool wasn’t open. On a busy road and hard to pull out of during the day.

It was well priced just off major traffic yet convenient for getting where you want to go. Inside residential Venice, Interstate access and shopping.

Loved the large walk-in shower. The outdoor pool was clean and warm. Did not like having an adult store next door and saw one roach in the room the morning we were leaving.

The motel room is very clean. Looks like they remodeled. Bed was comfortable, shower good. Only drawback was location, when leaving the parking lot there is a red light close by which makes getting out a little difficult. Otherwise good motel for the price.

Location was in good proximity of the beaches. It was clean. The only complaint we had is the shower was slow draining. It filled up. The shower head either needs to be replaced or dipped in some CLR. They should consider relocating the fridge and microwave and extend the sink for more counter space.

This is a super small hotel Right off a busy road. Traffic could be heard all night. The towels had holes and were mismatched.
