The B&B is run by a lovely family who were very helpful and supportive. The cooked breakfast was nice and the bedrooms clean and comfortable. The room was a little tired, but we had a good nights sleep. There is parking on the drive and on the local streets for free. Would we stay there again? Based on value for money. Yes.

The Victoria Lodge is in an ideal location, right next to shops and restaurants of Stockton Heath but maintaining a residential feel. It is also close enough to motorways for convenience. I had a wonderful welcome and I was given what for me was the best room, top floor at the back. There was a pleasant view of the vicinity and the room was an adequate size with comfortable bed, wardrobe, hot drink making facilities and wall mounted tv. The bathroom had a decent sized sink and lovely,easy to use electric shower. A wonderful cooked breakfast is served each morning and cereal is available too. The staff are very attentive, making sure you have all you need. There is space on the forecourt for a few vehicles to park, but if full the roadside is usable with no restrictions. All in all truly wonderful service and would love to stay again.

Lovely guest house right in the village centre with parking. Very helpful proprietor allowing remote check-in, which was a great benefit. Super clean hotel and perfect cooked breakfast. This was my fourth visit and I highly recommend the Victoria Lodge for its location and service.

Great stay, nice welcome from the owner Paul, who was very attentive during breakfast which was lovely and satisfying. Room was clean, very comfortable bed, good size TV and nice welcome tray. There was off road parking and the property was located right in the hart of Stockton Heath, so convenient for the bars, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.

Paul is an excellent host and as ever I felt well taken care of. Breakfast was fresh-cooked and tasty, with as much tea and toast as we wanted. The room could have done with a once-over before I arrived, as the tea-set had evidently been used and not refreshed, but it was warm and comfortable. As a location the Victoria Lodge is a good place to stay if visiting in the area, as it's close to shops and restaurants and the proximity of the police station makes it feel very safe and secure.

Check in was smooth and the breakfast was good and freshly cooked. The room had a double bed in space that should have had a single to the extent that the door to the bathroom would only open halfway as it fouled the bed. The plaster is cracked on the sloping ceiling and by the window. The curtains provide no blackout whatsoever.

On arrival I was met by a lovely man who made the process very simple unlike some other places I've stayed. Polite and talkative with some local recommendations offered for places to eat too. I booked the single, while small it is Cosy, warm and clean. I slept well and didn't fall out the bed (horray) Great little find in Stockton Heath

Wonderful host Paul who is so helpful and accommodating. Great location for local shops and restaurants. Great rooms with traditional solid walls so no noise. Excellent price and full English breakfast included. Will definitely stay again.

this place was nice enough and the lady who seems to be running it single handed did well and was very helpful. great breakfast but was not a good nights sleep as mattress was very basic and uncomfortable in room 7

I really enjoyed my stay at VL. The location is convenient and surprisingly quiet considering how close it is to the centre of Stockton Heath. My room was spacious and had good facilities (comfortable bed, extra bedding, ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a fan), the staff were friendly and accommodating (they were very kind and let me leave my bag while away for the weekend) and the breakfasts were delicious. The only downside was that it was quite hot during my stay and my room was on the top floor and the window didn't open so it was pretty stifling - thank goodness for the fan!

Very helpful landlord, great position in Stockton Heath with lovely bars and restaurants close by. Room was quite tired, too warm and very noisy from road if window was open. There was a ceiling fan which we had on but it clicked all night. Not a good night’s sleep.

Great one night stay, the rooms are a little dated and could do with an upholstered easy chair . But apart from that there’s everything you need. The staff were lovely and allowed me to check in early and the breakfast which was cooked to order was excellent. Close to shops and decent pubs where you can get dinner. Overall a great little guest house that provides value for money.

The host (Paul) was very welcoming and easy to communicate with, and showed the kind of flexibility you would hope for from a small establishment like this when it came to check-in/check-out times. The cooked breakfast was very good (great sausage and plenty of toast!). Overall, a great experience in a comfortable, old school B&B- and fantastic value for money!

The staff were excellent, Paul the proprietor was beyond kind and thoughtful. He made me breakfast when I woke up late. The others members of staff were very courteous and kind.

Needed an overnight stay ahead of a day's training delivery & wanted something slightly different to standard chain... the nearness of an inviting real ale micro pub had, of course, nothing to do with my choice! Great communications with the owner ahead of my arrival. When I got there, my planned room was changed to reduce the number of stairs needed to climb. Owner then gave me some suggestions of good local places to eat (there are many!). Breakfast following day was cooked to order & was excellent. If I had a "niggle" it is that ensuite shower/toilet space was a little small (especially for someone as large as I am), but I could add that comment to a lot of places I've stayed in! Finally, great location

I really enjoyed my stay at Victoria Lodge. Paul the proprietor was an excellent host and went out of his way to cater to my needs at breakfast time and gave some really useful information about the area and places to eat. I stayed for 5 nights on a business trip and will definitely be staying again when I’m back in the area.

The property was in a great spot for our trip, 2 minutes walk to the main area of Stockton Heath. Carole, the member of staff who looked after us during our stay, was lovely and cooked us a delicious breakfast. We would definitely return in the future.

The Victoria Lodge is in an ideal location, right next to shops and restaurants of Stockton Heath but maintaining a residential feel. It is also close enough to motorways for convenience. I had a wonderful welcome and I was given what for me was the best room, top floor at the back. There was a pleasant view of the vicinity and the room was an adequate size with comfortable bed, wardrobe, hot drink making facilities and wall mounted tv. The bathroom had a decent sized sink and lovely,easy to use electric shower. A wonderful cooked breakfast is served each morning and cereal is available too. The staff are very attentive, making sure you have all you need. There is space on the forecourt for a few vehicles to park, but if full the roadside is usable with no restrictions. All in all truly wonderful service and would love to stay again.

Really clean, convenient location. Great price. This is just what I needed as a place to stay after meeting up with friends in Stockton heath. Good breakfast too!

The host (Paul) was very welcoming and easy to communicate with, and showed the kind of flexibility you would hope for from a small establishment like this when it came to check-in/check-out times. The cooked breakfast was very good (great sausage and plenty of toast!). Overall, a great experience in a comfortable, old school B&B- and fantastic value for money!

Pat was very welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and cosy and so quiet, we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was fantastic, we were looked after very well.

Great one night stay, the rooms are a little dated and could do with an upholstered easy chair . But apart from that there’s everything you need. The staff were lovely and allowed me to check in early and the breakfast which was cooked to order was excellent. Close to shops and decent pubs where you can get dinner. Overall a great little guest house that provides value for money.

This is the second time I have stayed here, returning to the area where I grew up. Great value and very convenient for a one night stay in the centre of Stockton Heath. Parking on site and nearby. The rooms are small but have all you need. Paul makes a great freshly cooked breakfast and is friendly and helpful.

I had a two night stay, I’d booked on line so had never spoke to the owners. Paul was most accommodating in finding me a ground floor single when he could see I struggled with stairs (I’m old, ill and fat!) my room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, nothing was any trouble, I don’t eat beans or tomatoes, that was no problem to Paul, he still filled my plate. He offered everything you’d want for a good breakfast. I was in Warrington for my father’s funeral. Paul was sympathetic and helpful but maintained a smile and a sense of humour that was greatly appreciated. All in all, a great place to stay, thank you for reading. Gaz.

Very pleasant stay, the room was clean, although the bed was a little bit too near the bathroom door. Paul was an excellent host, also cooked a very good breakfast. Managed to park next to the property. All in all a very good stay.
