Not fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. It's a rare motel these days that will accomodate cigarette smokers. The Glendal Motel 6 has a wing of smoking rooms as well as a womg fpr npn-smokers that is separate so that non-smokers aren't bothered. Staff friendly.

When we came back to the hotel in the evening the door wouldn’t open and until we forced it open; we spoke to the owners, they said they’d get someone on it but they never did. The positives is that it was convenient for our purpose of travel and there was parking, albeit tight and limited, if you got there early you’d have a spot.

We arrived at 2pm and requested to check in early. We had to wait until 2:30. When we got into the room, it was basic. There wasn’t even a chair. 2 metal chairs for the bar/desk in the middle of the room, but that was it. Towels had unidentified stains on them. Pillows left a lot to be desired. Fridge was super cold and wafer pressure was amazing so those are some positives. No breakfast and you have to pay $0.25 for a bucket of ice. There are no vending machines. Honestly, it’s good if you don’t need ANYTHING. For the price, compared to other places, I’ll spend the little bit extra for the extras. Lesson learned. Will NOT stay here again.

Best Motel 6 I have ever seen. Beautiful tile in the shower and bathroom floor. Beautiful lighted molding sculpture over the bed. Like a much higher grade hotel.

I don’t recommend this place at all, the pictures are misleading, it’s not cleaned properly. There was what looked to be blood splatter on the overhead lighting fixture of the bed and on the walls. The coffee maker literally was dirty and dusty inside the water reservoir( tried to clean it and it was just to much actual dirt. We killed two baby roaches and what ever they washed the sheets in definitely made me ich( not my husband tho). There was also hair all on the shower wall.

Very clean and well maintained. Loved that they had a coffee maker, microwave & mini fridge. It would have been great to have a second mirror in the room - was only the single one in the bathroom. Would definitely stay again!

Misleading ad. Pictures had a kitchenette for the room. I get there and the staff tells me that they *do* have a kitchenette room, but that’s not the one I booked. They’re apparently using pictures from that room to advertise for all of their rooms to make their property look better than it is. Room wasn’t clean - cockroach found as well as human reproductive fluid on the bed sheets that at least weren’t bleached if they were cleaned at all.

I decided to stay at this motel 6 Glendale because all the other hotel/motel was too expensive. The original room i chose was a full size, but noticed that this hotel had a kitchenette. So i ended up reserving the king bed kitchenette. It was very nice. The whole room was nice.

Just fine for a 1-2 day stay, would do again. Only issue I ran into was after I returned late from a concert all the motel parking was taken up so I had to park along the street next to the place (barely slept since it was only 2 hour parking during enforced hours). I should at the very least have a spot to return to despite the late hours if I’m paying to stay. Also I enjoyed the red light in my room, I think more places oughta do this.

I knew ahead of time that the room didn't have carpet, but I will make sure my future hotels or motels have carpets. If you don't wear shoes, your feet will get dirty and dusty. The rooms are as pictured. I liked the big size of the beds, but the beds weren't comfortable. I tossed and turned all night and woke up with an achy lower back. You can also easily hear your neighbors and outside noise. I also wished their blankets was thicker. It was a little cold so we had to turn up the heater. Shower was great Check in was ok, but I felt a little uncomfortable about the required $100 cash security deposit. The site says $400 security deposit and that they take credit cards, debit cards and cash. But, they wouldn't accept my credit card and so I had to get cash. I guess $100 is better than the $400. It was refundable at checkout. The man at checkout was more friendly than the woman at check in. There was enough parking.

It's a Motel 6 - you don't go in with grand expectations. The walls are paper thin and the WiFi password was nowhere to be found. This odd high pitched sound would play for up to fifteen minutes at a time and I never did figure out where it was coming from, which was a bit maddening. On the positive side, it's well-located. Check in was simple, the A/C worked very well, the bathroom was clean and the plumbing was solid, it's plenty spacious, bed was comfortable, and the in-room appliances were very helpful. For what we paid for it, I think we got a solid deal. Want to stay in Glendale on the cheap? I think you could do much worse than this place.

This was a recent conversion to Motel 6, and it does the brand justice. Pleasantly surprised by the size of our room and unique features. The fridge , micro and coffee service in the room was a plus. The staff was friendly and made check in a breeze. Parking was tight but easily available and accessed. Location for me was perfect as it was a few miles from a studio I was scheduled at. Nice neighborhood

Have been to this Motel 6 in Glendale more than once. I like it because it's a simple hotel. Not too much amenities. I stay at this hotel when I'm in town with family and we go to a Dodgers game. The rooms are quite spacious with all the necessary amenities. I wouldn't recommend the downstairs room near the covered carport though. Tends to bring a lot of noise from the main street. I think the owners at this Motel 6 are wonderful along with the rest of the staff. I would definitely stay again when back in town. The rooms have big comfortable beds and big televisions also.

I have used this place multiple times as for traveling for work. Every single time I come the workers here are extremely nice and welcoming and get me easy and fast check-ins. Rooms are always ready by check in time and really clean. I would recommend this 10/10 as there are also multiple options for food and the freeway is very close.

Serenity not so loud very clean they clean ur room everyday u stay their theirs smoking rooms for people that smoke very friendly staff memeber MAX Hes excellent not rude very efficient on Top of everything very thoughtful i will recommend to any one we got the king size room it was downstairs cause i needed down stairs for my legs so yes we will stay here at motel 6 again this one is near the eagle rock plaza and the entrance of the 2 freeway and lots of grocery stores and eaterys near by

Unfriendly receptionist. Homeless people in parking lot. One light not working. A/C controls not working properly. Table bolted to the wall too high, with low chairs, so unusable to sit with a laptop. Towels were changed on day 2 but bed wasn't made. Don't stay there!

The guy at the time I checked in was very rude and not helpful. We went to the office they wouldn't help us they said they were close walked away. I found that really unprofessional. They was no vending machines at all. We had to pay for ice which was the first time I ever had to pay for ice at any motel/hotel. The staff was very unpleasant. I would not stay there again. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

The guy at the time I checked in was very rude and not helpful. We went to the office they wouldn't help us they said they were close walked away. I found that really unprofessional. Have been to this Motel 6 in Glendale more than once. I like it because it's a simple hotel. Not too much amenities. I stay at this hotel when I'm in town with family and we go to a Dodgers game. The rooms are quite spacious with all the necessary amenities. I wouldn't recommend the downstairs room near the covered carport though. Tends to bring a lot of noise from the main street. I think the owners at this Motel 6 are wonderful along with the rest of the staff. I would definitely stay again when back in town. The rooms have big comfortable beds and big televisions also.

They didn’t let me check in and wasn’t able to take my family that’s from Oklahoma use their legal temporary identification card state issued so they had to stay in car for 6 hours to look for a opening somewhere else.

Nice hotel and clean. Older and you can tell in some places but overall comfortable and nice. The street is nice as well there is a Starbucks close by and a Ralph’s in walking distance. The owner and staff were great and Universal was close by.

It’s a small older motel 6. Very close to the Hollywood Bowl which is why I stayed there. Price was very reasonable. It was clean bed was okay. I will say the window did not lock and they had a wood bar about 6 inches from window which would prevent a body from getting in through window. Door does not have the best locking mechanism. I felt safe enough.

Overall, a nice stay. Better than I expected with the price point. It was clean and the rooms feel newly remodeled. When you first pull in, it looks like it could be a sketchy area, but after staying there 3 nights, there was nothing sketchy about it and felt safe. Theres a Target right near it and it's super easy to get on the highway.

Needed a hotel close to universal but not too close for the price. It took about 15 mins to get there. It was a clean room and close to the galleria. Would stay again .

It seemed like my room was used by heavy smokers. I could not breathe well at times. I was asleep when the manager called me and woke me up to report that the guest downstairs was complaining about noise coming from my room. I told him it came from the A/C unit. Property is located on busy street. There is lot of traffic noise.

The fact that it's a perfect location to really close restaurants and gas stations. Glendale Highway on and off ramp is close too. Only thing is that it's kind of noisy next to Colorado St. Recommend staying in a room facing away from the main road. Staying in the room next to the carport is real noisy too

This was the cleanest budget motel I've ever seen. Immaculate bedding, towels, fridge, micro. Helpful staff. Easy walk to food or bus. Next door neighbors were loud, but after they quieted down early evening, all was quiet.

I had a great stay at this property and everyone was so accommodating. There is a delicious italian restaurant across the street and lots of other restaurants walking distance. Even grocery stores are less than 10 minutes away on foot, less than 2 min away by car. They also accommodated my late check out and allowed me to keep my car parked for another hour after check out so I could get breakfast. Will stay again!

We arrived at 2pm and requested to check in early. We had to wait until 2:30. When we got into the room, it was basic. There wasn’t even a chair. 2 metal chairs for the bar/desk in the middle of the room, but that was it. Towels had unidentified stains on them. Pillows left a lot to be desired. Fridge was super cold and wafer pressure was amazing so those are some positives. No breakfast and you have to pay $0.25 for a bucket of ice. There are no vending machines. Honestly, it’s good if you don’t need ANYTHING. For the price, compared to other places, I’ll spend the little bit extra for the extras. Lesson learned. Will NOT stay here again.

The aircon is cold, and the room is clean but has smell of curry. No WiFi nor breakfast. We parked our out of state vehicle directly in front of our room. At about 6AM, someone banged on our door… I opened the door & saw a white guy smelling of alcohol…. he was mumbling something…. I then shut the door & called reception & reported the incident.

Bathroom was clean. Microwave and fridge worked. Room service was great. Our room had a faint smell of urine and when we got home after staying there a couple of nights, our clothes smelled of it. The person I was traveling with woke up with bug bites both nights we were there, they seemed to have been made by a spider. We checked the bed and did find dark stains under the fitted sheet but weren't sure if it was related to the bug bites. I had a tough time staying asleep, I felt every movement made by the person I had shared the bed with. Not a very good mattress. Overall I wouldn't stay here again due to the mysterious bug bites and the persistent smell of urine.
