The room was perfect, very nicely decorated, clean and had a marvelous kitchen area. Paint, moulding, walls perfectly clean. Bathroom small but serviceable. Very nice place to stay. Nice amenities, BBQ grill, inviting pool, ice machine, good parking. Would definitely stay there again. Walking distance to great places to eat or enjoy a sunset. Such a nice surprise when you book a motel that is not a name brand. Room was as pictured or better

Property was lovely with pool, no car needed as hoped. About $45 from tampa airport in lyft and $30 to PIE airport. About 3 blocks from beach access where food, bathroom, and shower available. You can purchase chair $10 & umbrella $45 on upham beach. Walgreens and gas station is a good walk about $7 lyft to beach. Enterprise car rental near Walgreens open only weekdays about $100 for 24 hrs. Waffle house, Bouy's Brunch restaurant, Smoking Monkey Restaurant & Live music, and 82 Degrees Bar/The Saints Stay were all walking distance. Would love to return.

Very safe area. Easy 2 block walk to a beautiful beach with amazing sunsets. Two good restaurants with live music and great food in easy walking distance. Still a lot of damage in the area from Hurricane Milton in 2024. The property is comfortable and mostly functional, including the pool.

It was a very cute cottage! Enough room for one or two people. No elevator and many stairs (just 3 steps) Pleasant courtyard and right by the beach - 2 blocks - at the end of the streets. Definitely, I will stay there again...and free parking which is important by the beach.

Spent my birthday weekend here with a few friends and had a wonderful time. Clean, lovely little grounds and very walkable to the beach and restaurants. Will keep in mind for a repeat stay!

We did not sleep there is was terrible the carpet was gone many years ago. It was just half again of the carpet. In the bathroom it was rusty here and there.

We unfortunately only had a one night stay but as usual it was fantastic. Our little cottage was really comfortable and we slept really well in the lovely king size bed . Hope to be back soon

Lots of character older property but very well kept, clean and spacious rooms, kitchenette for eating in, very friendly staff, close to beach and restaurants. Very relaxing and quiet. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will be back!!!

The were renovating the office and no sign to tell me where to check in. Finally someone pointed me to one of the actual rooms. It’s old school, they use keys. The lady that worked there was a little hard to understand, did not even ask me for ID, just had me fill out a card. The room was like a one bedroom apt. Room could use an update. When checking out, there was no one to be found. I just left the key on the table as I found it, and sent an email to the property thru hotels.com

What a cute find! My boyfriend and I love trying new places for staycations.The office was locked when we came to check in, so we called and checked in over the phone and the lady was very nice and fast with our check in. It seems that no one was staying at the motel while we were there so we had it all to ourselves. It was clean, quiet, and near all of our favorite places we love to visit while we are here. Walkability is great, and a lot of the good breakfast and lunch spots are all within a 10 minute walk. You will not be disappointed!

Even though the office was closed upon my afternoon arrival and still closed upon my departure at 10 am they responded through the phone number they make available with my check in and check out. I would definitely recommend staying here and it is so close to the beach along with an array of restaurants within walking distance.

The manager and staff were very accommodating! The room had everything you need : bigger fridge, kitchen sink and stove. It was a very short 5 min walk to beach .

It was a very cute cottage! Enough room for one or two people. No elevator and many stairs (just 3 steps) Pleasant courtyard and right by the beach - 2 blocks - at the end of the streets. Definitely, I will stay there again...and free parking which is important by the beach.

Loved our stay here, the only thing that we didn't love about the property is that the bed frames in the cottage house were on rollers, so when you went to sit up in the bed they would slide a bit. Other than that, the property was lovely. Ice machine on site, heated pool, an easy check in process at 2pm. Thanks so much!

Just what we were looking for. Clean and close to the beach. Nothing fancy but we are simple people and clean and convenient (and priced well) works for us! Would def stay again

The Carlton House is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy your time in St. Pete Beach. My wife and I spent 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was great to have a suite including a kitchen and living area. Carlton House is near the Corey Ave shopping area and Gulf Avenu. We easily accessed areas from John's Pass all the way down to Ft. DeSoto and Pass-a-Grille. A couple of small requests for the tub/shower: my wife was unable to enjoy cold water, only lukewarm, and maybe add a grab bar. We also lacked a Do Not Disturb sign. Otherwise, everything was well done. We would recommend Carlton House to anyone looking for comfortable quiet lodgings off from the main drive but still close enough to everything! Thank you for a great time!

This is a no frills motel/extending living/apt building that is that is outdated interiorly BUT has a small clean heated pool and a room with kitchen (has large fridge stove and microwave), dining room, small living room and sliding doors to our 2 beds and bathrooms. The best part is you walk 2 blocks and you are at upham park beach which is free. You save hundreds per night staying here versus the hotels on the beach. You cant beat it it was clean and staff and guests are friendly. There are also restaurants withinn walking distance
