Really nice B&B. Located within walking distance to the downtown area. Rooms are clean and well kept. The breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are a little small, and don't expect a TV, microwave, coffee maker, or blow dryer in the room, but that stuff is available in common areas. No complaints thought, I will happily stay here again! Photos are the view from our room.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful mountain and ocean views, cozy dining room with fresh flowers, constantly available coffee/tea, delicious, homemade breakfasts. Warm and responsive staff, friendly fellow-guests. Room with queen bed and two beds in loft happily accommodated our family of 4.

The Swan Nest Inn is located at the end of town near some restaurants and shopping. The water is only two blocks away where there is a nice park like area. Additionally there is a Safeway and Starbucks a short drive away. Breakfast was cooked to order plus you have free use of the kitchen and refrigerator if desired. We actually prepared a nice pasta dish with bread and wine one night for dinner. The Inn has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Our room was small but cozy with a large shower. Hairdryers, fans, heaters, and extra towels or blankets are in the hallway to use as needed. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay.

Breakfasts are includsed and are super. There is a quiet time from 10-7 but not all guests understand what that means. Walkable to some very nice restaurants including Seward Hotel which I think is the best. Great view from the common breakfast room. No TVs in rooms but then again the town begs for you to get out and about. Room 2 is the best.

The room is small but can accommodate a family of four or five. Room is clean and has many hooks and shelves and storage areas. Big common dining area has great views, big kitchen for cooking if you want to. Owner Sarah let me waiting for my family in the common area after checking out, which I really appreciate. Also, the made on demand breakfast is great too.

Unique and cozy place in a historic building. Have to be able to go up outdoor stairs. Stairs are wide with rails to the second floor. Breakfast was delicious. Homemade to order by our host, Ashton, included freshly baked items. The common room had a wood burning stove and beautiful view of the mountains and ocean.

This is a nice B&B place. There are shared kitchen and dining area. Our room is right next to the kitchen and the dining area, it was a little noisy staring 6:20am. All room are located on the 2nd floor, no elevator, would be a problem for older people. Our room has one queen bed and two twin beds. The two twin beds are in the attic, more suitable for kids, but not suitable for little kids for safety concerns in my opinion. Breakfast is good, you can order to cook. The breakfast lady is very nice. I never saw the manager behind the front desk. I would recommend this place.

This is an extremely tiny room where there was no room to walk around by the bed. The expedia listing does not clearly mention that the kitchen, the dining area everything is shared with other residents. The room has no heating source. Our toilet was clogged when we arrived. This place is more like a hostel and not appropriare for family. The breakfast is made to order and the staff was nice, however the quality and option for breakfast is limited. I wonder how this property received all the 10 star reviews. I was heavily mislead by the reviews. Over $275 per night, this was absolutely not worth it. The building and facility is very very old and smelly at places. Only saving grace is the location in the heart of Seward.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at A Swan’s Nest for our honeymoon. Beautiful views from our room window. Clean, cozy, and a made to order breakfast from the lovely hosts. On the rainy days we enjoyed complimentary tea and the views!

We LOVED our stay and would 100% come back. The location was ideal and central. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The made to order breakfast was great and we loved the personal touches of fresh sourdough goodies. The room was very clean and the common areas were spacious and clean as well.

I had a perfectly fine stay at A Swan Nest Inn. My room was cozy and comfortable and the staff keeps the small inn very clean. Breakfast was great - I ordered scrambled eggs and potatoes, and there was an assortment of fruit and bread. I would certainly stay there again if traveling solo.

Loved the delicious breakfast made for us each morning. Room and dining area were very clean. The only thing we didn’t like was that the rooms were very small, actually smaller than hotel rooms. Walkable distance to shopping areas. Overall was a nice stay.

There is a very nice breakfast and the room is nice. The one issue is that the loft, where the second bed is, has a very low ceiling (I knew about the ladder, but I didn't realize that you wouldn't be able to stand up. Great for kids, not so much for adults. Very friendly staff.

Our grandson is a large guy and had trouble climbing in and out of the loft to sleep band the bed took up most of the room space. Difficult to walk around bed. The view of the bay was phenomenal.

Loved our stay! I knew there was a ladder but (not the fault of owners) I didn’t realize how tired I would be going up and down after walking all day lol. Also in room 7 it gets so hot upstairs. Other than that it was a comfortable stay!

I really liked the staff and it felt very homey, but the room was very tiny with nowhere to sit. The common area was next to our room, which felt a bit awkward hearing people’s conversations through the door.

B&B located in walkable area of Seward. Good breakfast. Room was small. Bed took up most of room. Mattress desperately needs replacement. No place to relax. Common area has one uncomfortable chair and even more uncomfortable bench. Okay for 2 ppl for 1 or 2 nights. We were there for 4 nights. Happy to move on.

This hotel is very convenient for a night or two, but the room is small and the staff was not there on arrival or very friendly at breakfast. Also, the headboard of our bed was an actual tree trunk that stuck out over the pillows, so we bumped our heads a lot. Breakfast was also okay, but not great.

The breakfasts by Ashton were amazing. She was very careful of our GF request for celiac son, and everything tasted great. We also loved the open kitchen to prepare our own lunch and dinners. The dining room was cozy and the entire place was warm and inviting. SO much better than a motel or hotel!

Great unique b and b type of place. Self check in was great. Great views, nice staff. Just wish check in wasn’t so late (5pm) and check out so early (10am), but they did let me in early and said I could hang out after 10am so that worked out, in the end… Great vibe.

From our check-in with Sarah, smiling and friendly, to our fabulous breakfast by Ashton, we loved our stay at Swan nest! We were fortunately able to check in early and loved our cozy room with fabulous view and access to a lovely, comfy, eating, sitting room, also, with gorgeous mountain views. If you don’t mind a few stairs, it’s a great place to stay! Thanks for making it even more fabulous, ladies!🌺

Great customer service. After booking, the manager sent me a booklet about area activities and booked these activites for us. Sarah answered all my questions prior to my arrival. We were able to leave our luggage before and after our stay. The breakfast was good and made to order. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was close and walkable to downtown area. Overall, a positive experience.

I had a informed them we might arrive a little and were told no problem our room is ready. Key in the door and we were in. Fire in the fireplace hot water for hot chocolate etc. Very cozy then breakfast the following morning. They have a menu to choose from. Cooked while we had coffee. Hot off the grill do delicious. Everyone very helpful and friendly. This is our second time there and will use them as again. Thanks.

Staff was very accommodating- prepared us a delightful to go breakfast one day. Check in was very easy. The place had a common room for meals or hanging out. Much needed as our very cute room was small, so the only option for sitting was on the bed, which was quite firm and uncomfortable for sleeping. HOWEVER, this place has charm and was otherwise wonderful with so many things available (kitchen, coolers and more!) the breakfast was cooked to order and delicious!!! It’s a short walk to the waterfront and Alaska Sea Life Ctr., as well as quaint shops and restaurants.

This hotel is very convenient for a night or two, but the room is small and the staff was not there on arrival or very friendly at breakfast. Also, the headboard of our bed was an actual tree trunk that stuck out over the pillows, so we bumped our heads a lot. Breakfast was also okay, but not great.

Loved the delicious breakfast made for us each morning. Room and dining area were very clean. The only thing we didn’t like was that the rooms were very small, actually smaller than hotel rooms. Walkable distance to shopping areas. Overall was a nice stay.

This is such a cute little bed and breakfast. Lots of charm and thoughtful touches. It is also located very close to wonderful dining and the marina.

The Swan Nest Inn is located at the end of town near some restaurants and shopping. The water is only two blocks away where there is a nice park like area. Additionally there is a Safeway and Starbucks a short drive away. Breakfast was cooked to order plus you have free use of the kitchen and refrigerator if desired. We actually prepared a nice pasta dish with bread and wine one night for dinner. The Inn has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Our room was small but cozy with a large shower. Hairdryers, fans, heaters, and extra towels or blankets are in the hallway to use as needed. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay.

This is a great place to stay in Seward. Walkable to the downtown attractions and shops, with great views of Resurrection Bay. The breakfast is very good and everyone was pleasant to deal with.

Great property in Downtown Seward. Walkable to restaurants, stores and Sealife Center. Free shuttle stops nearby to get around Seward (Harbor & Tours). Property is very well managed. The hosts are very friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely go back for another visit!

We loved our stay at swans nest and would not hesitate to stay there again. We walked everywhere in town. The views were magnificent and the hosts friendly and helpful.

The breakfasts by Ashton were amazing. She was very careful of our GF request for celiac son, and everything tasted great. We also loved the open kitchen to prepare our own lunch and dinners. The dining room was cozy and the entire place was warm and inviting. SO much better than a motel or hotel!

The Swan’s Nest was perfect for our trip to Seward. We had the corner room next to the dining area and it was very quiet. We had a view of Resurrection Bay and enjoyed watching the skies change. The breakfasts were outstanding. I will definitely recommend the Swan’s Nest for a stay in Seward.

We LOVED our stay and would 100% come back. The location was ideal and central. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The made to order breakfast was great and we loved the personal touches of fresh sourdough goodies. The room was very clean and the common areas were spacious and clean as well.

Really nice B&B. Located within walking distance to the downtown area. Rooms are clean and well kept. The breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are a little small, and don't expect a TV, microwave, coffee maker, or blow dryer in the room, but that stuff is available in common areas. No complaints thought, I will happily stay here again!

The breakfast options were great. Friendly staff. Homemade breads fabulous. When they say the loft is small and meant for kids, believe them. But it worked out for my family even though my kids are grown. The sleeping loft created a family memory. =)

My wife and I had a lovely time at the Swan Nest in Seward. A welcoming, safe, and charming place. Lovely common areas, cozy bedroom, beautiful breakfasts made to order (thanks, Jada!), and walking distance from many terrific restaurants and bars, as well as a gorgeous mountain view. Just a cozy spot where you feel at home!

It gives the feeling of a cross between a youth hostel and a B&B. The rooms have a loft, but it is of limited use. The height inside the loft is very low, requiring you to move around on your knees, or scooch around seated on the floor. When you are seated on the floor within the loft, your head is only a couple inches below the ceiling. I sat up on the mattress in the middle of the night and banged my head on the ceiling. The ladder to the loft is substantial and the rungs are so far apart it would not be suitable for younger children or shorter adults. It also makes getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night difficult. The breakfast is cooked to order and very good. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The common areas are like a youth hostel, not of very good quality.
