The property is a jewel of Victorian architecture, and is run by folks who are the warmest and friendliest people I have ever experienced at a B&B. Bellefonte itself is worth a stop for its many late 19th century mansions. Breakfasts were great and all in all it was an outstanding experience.

We made the decision for last minute stop and we are glad we did! Jess and Retta were so nice. The place is clean and offers lots of amenities. Complimentary brandy, cookies, fruit, lavendar washcloths. Games, books and a pool table. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was filling. We would stay there again and will recommend!

The Reynolds mansion is nothing short of amazing! Jess makes you feel so at home. A beautiful old building but with modern amenities. And her breakfasts were delicious! Thank you! We’ll be back!

Although we stayed only one night, we enjoyed our day at this mansion. You immediately notice the amount of effort and resources that its owners have put on it. Everything was so well maintained that we felt like being invited by the very same Mr. Reynolds. It was a great experience, very different than conventional hotels. Highly recommended.

The castle was beautiful. Exquisite decore, game room, and Jess went over and above any other other place we've stayed in the past. Prior to arriving she checked on any food allergies that may effect our breakfast. She made excellent suggestions for dinner, when she found it was our anniversary, she had left a bottle of wine, and an anniversary card next to the bed. So many other little personal extras made our stay so pleasant. We have never had a more pleasant experience.

This house is exquisite! The innkeeper went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We loved the charm of the Louisa room and truly enjoyed playing pool in the billiards room at night. There may have also been a couple of nightcaps in the snuggery. Delightful trip!

Had a quick stay at Reynolds mansion, but we will def be back for a longer trip in the future. Rooms were beautiful and clean, bathrooms clean and plush towels, beds so comfy. All was very comfortable. Jess was so great, and very accomodating. Highly recommend!

Nice place. Heat in the room didn't work. Was 64-67 at night, about 80 in the hallway. Fireplace didn't heat. We noticed this about 2:30 am and shivered the rest of the night.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful place Everything about my visit exceeded expectations—from the cleanliness and comfort of the space to the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was Jess and her mum - the host. She was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and genuinely friendly. Her hospitality really stood out and made my trip even more enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-cared-for getaway. I’ll definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful experience. The mansion is simply gorgeous and very inviting. Our room was so spacious and beautifully decorated. Our hosts Theresa and Jess were so friendly and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. I highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed here to visit my daughter at Penn State. We ended up having the best time and felt like we were on vacation in this very historic Mansion. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast is homemade and delicious! When we arrived there was a cocktail hour where we met other PS parents. The managers are very friendly & will do anything to make your stay comfortable.

The castle was beautiful. Exquisite decore, game room, and Jess went over and above any other other place we've stayed in the past. Prior to arriving she checked on any food allergies that may effect our breakfast. She made excellent suggestions for dinner, when she found it was our anniversary, she had left a bottle of wine, and an anniversary card next to the bed. So many other little personal extras made our stay so pleasant. We have never had a more pleasant experience.

The property is a jewel of Victorian architecture, and is run by folks who are the warmest and friendliest people I have ever experienced at a B&B. Bellefonte itself is worth a stop for its many late 19th century mansions. Breakfasts were great and all in all it was an outstanding experience.

Beautiful property! Staff is awesome and it is a great location close to PSU. Our room was awesome, very clean, great big bathtub. Cannot say enough great things about this property!

It was a great and quiet getaway. We enjoyed the quietness. Mike and Trisha were amazing and the gourmet breakfast and fresh baked desserts where out of this world. Will definitely visit this Bed and Breakfast again.

We stayed here to visit my daughter at Penn State. We ended up having the best time and felt like we were on vacation in this very historic Mansion. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast is homemade and delicious! When we arrived there was a cocktail hour where we met other PS parents. The managers are very friendly & will do anything to make your stay comfortable.

We made the decision for last minute stop and we are glad we did! Jess and Retta were so nice. The place is clean and offers lots of amenities. Complimentary brandy, cookies, fruit, lavendar washcloths. Games, books and a pool table. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was filling. We would stay there again and will recommend!

We had a wonderful experience. The mansion is simply gorgeous and very inviting. Our room was so spacious and beautifully decorated. Our hosts Theresa and Jess were so friendly and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. I highly recommend a stay here.

We really had an excellent experience at the Reynolds Mansion. The staff was outstanding, making us feel truly welcome. The rooms are historically Victorian with all the modern conveniences. The property is very clean and kept in excellent repair and the breakfasts are delicious. Jess will even give you the recipes! We’re already planning our next stay at the Mansion.

We had such a wonderful stay at Reynolds Mansion while in town to drop our son off at Penn State. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional, and the mansion itself is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Louisa’s Cherub Room, which was spacious, immaculate, beautifully decorated, and full of historic charm. The entire mansion is stunning, with so many gorgeous details and a warmth that makes you feel right at home. A special thank you to Jess, who went above and beyond to make our stay so welcoming and memorable. Her thoughtful personalized letter and genuine hospitality made what could have been an emotional college drop-off weekend feel extra special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

While the initial emails were very informative and formal, we found the staff welcoming and had a nice stay. They even let us see almost all the rooms and pointed out the history of some of the former owners! We wish them success and hope to visit again!

Friendly, personalized…Homemade snickerdoodles work, greeting us upon arrival. Trophy room was round and amazing. Bathroom was built into the space and was therefore private. Bedding was high quality. Tranquil. Breakfast was very fresh and amazing Loved Jess

Jess is awesome! Everything about the stay was perfect. From check in details to actual check in and the stay. She is always reachable and always communicated all details of the stay. We stayed in the Trophy room and it was amazing. The view out the window and the aesthetic was perfect! Located minute's from every thing in bellefonte or a short drive away to some of the other attractions and state college. Can't wait to try some of the other rooms in the house! Definitely will be back! Jess and her mom completed the already awesome masion. (Hint try the muffins....and watch out for the brandy 😂)
