OMG. If you ever go to North Conway stay here. It is the best place. No pool. But if you’re just visiting it is wonderful. Mini Golf across the road and great parks for the kids. I was amazed. And I travel a lot

The room was fine for a single night, but for the price, I expected a more. The tub/shower were in need of replacement and the shower curtain was not very clean. There was also no coffee or tea. The receptionist was friendly and gave dinner recommendations. Check in was fast and easy. Parking was also plentiful and easy. Since it was leaf peeping season and there were a couple fairs in the area, the price was certainly inflated based on the hotel and amenities.

Nice property, but I have a suggestion. There are tables and chairs offered in the front, which is nice but it's right next to a highway. We took the chairs out to the back of the property, much quieter and a calmer vibe for chatting. Might provide some behind the motel, so we wouldn't have to carry them there and back. Just something to be considered. Overall, pleased with the motel.

School House Inn is a Cool place with a deep history in N. Conway.. Stayed in a cabin built in the late 1800’s.. Can’t tell from the modern interior.. It was quiet and relaxing.. Plenty of good shopping and places to eat minutes away.. The Staff is Very Nice and Accommodating.. It’s a Great Inn and nice to park right at your room door.. I’m the Inn type of person.. instead of hotel with hallways … The School House is a Great Place to Stay at Reasonable Rates and Good Staff…!

Very clean, staff was great. Very affordable when looking for just a place to stay/sleep. Not up to date- but clean. No food options- but knew that going in to it. Perfect for sleeping/ staying while planning activities in all the great areas around and in North Conway.

The front desk employees were very nice and polite. The room however was dirty:chairs stained, bathub filthy with finish peeling off, rysty registers,wallpaper peeling, stains on curtain. Carpet stained. It smelled awful. No hair dryer in room and front office does not open until 8am so late getting one. Tv had to be reset as internet kept going out. Coffee pot did not work. Terribly dusty. This place had an 8.2 rating which is not accurate! Would not recommend staying here. Never have i written a negative review but feel the current rating is very misleading and unfair to anyone expecting a decent room.

Im sorry but this place is not for us. Room smelled very musty, visible mold in bathroom. Carpet was old and stained, didn't feel clean enough to walk around barefoot. AC was loud and constantly turning off and on throughout the night making sleep difficult. I will say the cost was low but not worth these conditions in my opinion.

This time of the year it is hard to find affordable lodging in North Conway. At any other time of the year it would have been vastly overpriced. In comparison to other options in the area at this time I guess it was adequate. Dated (and not in a good way), mattress was uncomfortable, noisy street and noisy wall heater/AC, spider webs in the bathroom...I think you get the picture. Always drove by but never stopped in. We're so glad we did. We slept in the original schoolhouse room. Very clean and cute. Had super loud neighbors with the thin walls.

This hotel is simply perfect. Originally a school about 150 years ago, it has been beautifully transformed while retaining its vintage charm. I stayed in Room 15, which used to be one of the classrooms. The room has a delightful vintage aesthetic, with beds that maintain the antique look (though the mattresses are modern, very clean, and comfortable). The bathroom is spacious, though the shower in our room was a bit small, but that’s understandable given the room’s history as an old classroom. The staff are exceptionally nice, polite, and knowledgeable about the hotel’s history. They provided fascinating details about the old school and the additions made over time. When we checked out, one of the owners assisted us, and it was clear he is very passionate about the hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. We considered other, larger, and more modern hotels in the village, but the history and passionate staff made this place stand out. The hotel is within walking distance of everything, and the parking is spacious and free. Book this hotel without hesitation—it’s simply perfect.

I had a very quiet and peaceful single night here. The room was perfectly fine for my needs. The view from the back (private) balcony of my room was quite nice. The staff are very friendly and there are multiple dining and shopping options within a 5-10 minute drive. I would stay here again if I were passing through the area.

We stayed at this hotel for a night with family, we arrived after 7 pm. Check in was fine, the lady who checked us in was helpful. We stayed in a rustic cabin detached from the main building. Room was clean but very tight for our family of 4. Very little space for our luggage. Bathroom was tight, shower can be claustrophobic for some. They provided 2 small tubes of shampoo, which was barely enough for my 2 girls with long hair. I requested for more, but was told they don’t have any left and will have to wait the following morning from housekeeping. But we never received it the following day. No hair dryer in the bathroom, we also had to request it from the office. Room has small refrigerator, but it has no freezer. No microwave. Room has a portable heater which was sufficient to warm our room. One of the lamps didn’t work, but office was already closed at 9pm when we found out. They do not provide free breakfast, no amenities. But they gave us a jar of pasta sauce! Hotel is located along busy road, near many restaurants. But for the price we paid, it’s not worth it!

I didn’t like the fact that no one was in the lobby to greet you. I had to call on the phone and someone came right away. I thought they should have someone covering at night rather than having to call if there was a problem.

Wonderful cozy cabin! Management couldn’t have been nicer. I called to say I was going to be arriving later in the evening, past their check in hours and they were very accommodating. They turned the lights, tv and heat on in our cabin and left the key for us. It was so welcoming and nice to walk into when we arrived. The cabin was charming and clean! In the morning, the man at the front desk told us the story and history of the motel and the cabin we had stayed in, he also gave us suggestions on where to go for breakfast. Friendly, accommodating and affordable- we will be back!

This quaint, historic property was a great way to begin our family vacation as we stayed in North Conway for a couple of nights before heading to Maine. There were plenty of wonderful places to eat nearby, the location was great for walking, and its proximity to the North Conway Railroad Station was tremendously convenient. We'd definitely stay here again if our travels bring us to the area!

Stopped in during a motorcycle tour of the area and was perfect for us. We rented 2 rooms and both were clean a just right for what we wanted. Road is a bit noisy but it's a good location with good restaurant options nearby.

In a great location and surprisingly quiet considering it's on Route 16. The room was simple but met all my needs. Would recommend putting Wifi password in the room - I forgot to ask when checking-in and office closes at 9pm. There is a great backyard, with a great view, that would be perfect for a firepit, chairs and maybe even a grill for guests to use. Only negative feedback would be that there is no breakfast onsite. Other than that, we do plan on returning to this property.
