The parking lot was filled with mud. They need to install concrete curbs to stop it. My dog's feet got filthy and I had to clean them after going outside. Also, I had to take my 5 year old daughter through the men's bathroom to get to the pool?? Other than that is was a nice place. Fix those 2 things and I would give you a 5 star.

Would,LOVE to see recycling. Especially cans and bottles !!!! Was interesting ?maybeBit concerning ? The side entry door was never locked or coded. Bed average comfort. Would have loved an extra blanket.

Very relaxed vibe, comfortable bed, nice linens, really yummy cookies available all day in the lobby. The view of the lake is everything and the rooms and dining area deliver. So quiet in December, we could hear the waves all night. Staff all seem to love working there, even the maintenance and housekeeping staff all smiles. Big plus, free electric car charging onsite! Their breakfast to go system is fun and has some adventurous options - pickled herring! But like all Covid-era dining, so much unrecycled waste. Recycling is always a challenge on the North Shore anyway. This place has the perfect blend of rustic and luxury. My husband and I have vowed to make a Cove Point winter getaway an annual tradition.

Took my daughter for a mother daughter get-away weekend. It was absolutely wonderful. The weather was cold, but it's Minneasota and January so we were expecting it. The pool, sauna and hot tub were all perfect for relaxing after a walk along the icy shores.

Overall a great stay. We stayed at the lodge on the 3rd floor. Good sized room, amazing view of the lake from the balcony. Breakfast spread was very good. Friendly service in the bar area. Definitely recommend staying here.

The stay awesome! The.view was amazing and so was the service! The only bad thing that happened was the fireplace malfunctioned and the smoke alarms were going off and the hotel was really smoky!

We loved our dinner and the beautiful hike to the point. The room was small and we had issues with the phone, coffee maker, and TV. The staff helped us pretty quickly. The breakfast was confusing the 1st morning... finding everything that was offered.

Beautiful lodge on Lake Superior with easy access to many different hiking trails. Our room had a balcony with wonderful view of the lake. Only critique is that I wish they would improve their continental breakfast.

Beautiful gem on Minnesota’s north shore that’s close to many regional points of interest, yet secluded and romantic. Time slows down here, in a very good way. Staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back, hopefully for a longer stay!

Such a great place!. Wish we could stay longer. Particularly great for families I think. Terrific food and service. “Santa” Herb at front desk helped us print a document we needed! Pretty views and nice rooms.

Overall a great stay. We stayed at the lodge on the 3rd floor. Good sized room, amazing view of the lake from the balcony. Breakfast spread was very good. Friendly service in the bar area. Definitely recommend staying here.

Our room was immaculately clean, roomy, and with a balcony overlooking Lake Superior. I prefer a hot breakfast to their Scandanavian buffet, but the buffet is well done. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enthusiastically recommend this lodge.

We loved our dinner and the beautiful hike to the point. The room was small and we had issues with the phone, coffee maker, and TV. The staff helped us pretty quickly. The breakfast was confusing the 1st morning... finding everything that was offered.

Such a great place!. Wish we could stay longer. Particularly great for families I think. Terrific food and service. “Santa” Herb at front desk helped us print a document we needed! Pretty views and nice rooms.

Beautiful lodge on Lake Superior with easy access to many different hiking trails. Our room had a balcony with wonderful view of the lake. Only critique is that I wish they would improve their continental breakfast.

Wonderful location. We stayed in the Lodge and enjoyed the view of the lake from our room. Wonderful outdoor fire pit to sit and look at the stars. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend Cove Point Lodge.

The lodge is very charming. It is so cozy and relaxing inside! My only suggestion would be to update the bathrooms in the rooms. Otherwise, we love it here!

I thought I booked a standalone cottage but was room at the inn (my bad). Room was fine and nice view to the lake. Very quiet hotel, hardly heard anyone even though it was sold out. Really enjoyed the dining room - great food and service.

Great place to stay! We were able to bring our dog and have a great time around the hotel. The location couldn't be better, right between Gooseberry Falls and Tettegouche state park. We loved our stay and already thinking about a trip back.
