It is a very cute place and the staff we met are very friendly. The only downside is the pool is permanently closed and they do not offer breakfast there. Online it said they have both and that needs to be changed.

Pool was advertised on Expedia, but was covered up, in the middle of Summer. Complimentary Breakfast hasn't been available for over a year. Both were advertised, but NOT available. Very Musty and Very dated. But the sheets were clean and also the towels. Caulking around the tub was moldy. Tiles in the bathroom was probably the original from when it was built. Staff was very friendly. Owner needs to update all of the rooms and change the ad on Expedia or fix the pool and serve breakfast, not just coffee.

I stayed here one night because I was in Mountain City for work. Let me start by saying that this was maybe the most quiet hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. The hotel did have a smoke smell in the lobby that kind of lingered in the room. However, the room itself was exceptionally clean. The entire staff was extremely friendly. They even have a friendly cat named Razz. I do wish their pool had been open though, as it was closed for maintenance. Parking was great. Mountain City in general is not great. Hope you like Burger King and Hardees. But you’re 20 minutes from Boone and 30 minutes from the Virginia Creeper Trail, so I would honestly recommend this hotel for anyone going to North Carolina or Virginia and looking for a less expensive, extremely quiet stay.

The wifi did not work until they reset the modem an couple of times around 10:00 pm. That was a hassle as we needed to do some work. The pool is an outdoor pool with lots of problems and they have it closed until further notice. The website said they have a free breakfast, they do not have any breakfast at all. The people working the desk are great, very friendly and act like they really like being there.

The bed was clean, housekeeping took out the trash daily, the show got nice and hot, and the ac worked well, but the sink had a hole in it and the counter was cracked. Some of the outlets in the room were connected to light switches that didn't make sense and one lamp on the wall couldn't be plugged into an outlet because the wire was too short. The place and people were nice enough, but it could use a bit of remodeling work.

Standing water in floor (we cleaned up), broken ac, headboard fell off wall, other bed frame broke, toilet wobbled, key cards stopped working several times, didn’t bring clean towels or provide enough towels for 3. Didn’t offer a discount or different room until 10:30 the night the night we were leaving. She said “my manager said if you leave now we will refund your money and you can go to Boone”. I told her it was too late and shut the door. No continental breakfast or even a place for a continental breakfast so that is just a straight up lie. The lobby has strong potpourri that the desk clerk referred to as the stank lol. My mom and another lady were struggling to breathe. It was extremely loud at night and there were shady cars in and out that didn’t need to be there. The room has been renovated and is lovely however it fell apart quickly.

We only spent one night at Americourt Hotel. The room was neat and clean. The staff was extremely courteous and very helpful. Hotel convenient to eating & dining. We will stay here again.

It is in an easy location to find. While it is on a state hwy, it is out of the way of heavy traffic. It provided all we needed for our stay. The only 'not so nice' thing was that the counter-top for the sink had a crack in it that ran the entire width of the top. It was located such that when the faucet was on, water could go into the crack and then to the floor.

I stayed here one night because I was in Mountain City for work. Let me start by saying that this was maybe the most quiet hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. The hotel did have a smoke smell in the lobby that kind of lingered in the room. However, the room itself was exceptionally clean. The entire staff was extremely friendly. They even have a friendly cat named Razz. I do wish their pool had been open though, as it was closed for maintenance. Parking was great. Mountain City in general is not great. Hope you like Burger King and Hardees. But you’re 20 minutes from Boone and 30 minutes from the Virginia Creeper Trail, so I would honestly recommend this hotel for anyone going to North Carolina or Virginia and looking for a less expensive, extremely quiet stay.

45 minutes to Beech Mountain. The price was good. The location is in the middle of nowhere. Nice people and clean.

Property was easy to get to, right off the highway. Didn't feel super clean. Need a dehumidifier for the rooms so the carpet won't feel sticky.

Very dissappointed that it was advertised to include a breakfast buffet, but they dont have breakfast at all. This was the main reason for choosing this hotel to stay at. We wont be staying here again.

It is a very cute place and the staff we met are very friendly. The only downside is the pool is permanently closed and they do not offer breakfast there. Online it said they have both and that needs to be changed.

We only spent one night at Americourt Hotel. The room was neat and clean. The staff was extremely courteous and very helpful. Hotel convenient to eating & dining. We will stay here again.

Pool was advertised on Expedia, but was covered up, in the middle of Summer. Complimentary Breakfast hasn't been available for over a year. Both were advertised, but NOT available. Very Musty and Very dated. But the sheets were clean and also the towels. Caulking around the tub was moldy. Tiles in the bathroom was probably the original from when it was built. Staff was very friendly. Owner needs to update all of the rooms and change the ad on Expedia or fix the pool and serve breakfast, not just coffee.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The owner has unfortunately not updated the websites and continental breakfast has not been offered since 2023, but carryout and restaurants are close by. Overall a comfortable stay.

Web Site list "Free Breakfast" the only thing available was coffee. Although “No Smoking” signs are posted everywhere, you could still smell old smoke in the hall and room. Carpet in our room could use a good cleaning and the stains in bathtub are unsightly.

The wifi did not work until they reset the modem an couple of times around 10:00 pm. That was a hassle as we needed to do some work. The pool is an outdoor pool with lots of problems and they have it closed until further notice. The website said they have a free breakfast, they do not have any breakfast at all. The people working the desk are great, very friendly and act like they really like being there.

Everything was fine except that Hotels.com listed a "Breakfast buffet". The hotel no longer serves breakfast. This was not a big deal to me but it is wrong. Slight "stale" odor to the room.

Room very clean. Staff very helpful. For the money a good place to stay. I was traveling so only spent one night. No breakfast, just coffee.

They don’t have a breakfast but they have a microwave and toaster in the main area to use if you bring your own. The evening staff is very helpful I never saw the morning person when I left. We rang the bell and still didn’t see anyone. They only left 2 towels in our room for 4 people. Thankfully my kids brought their towels or we would have had to ask. They have a pool but it is clearly empty and closed.

Great stay staff was nice but our door was broken and had to ask staff to open for us and our room did not have a microwave, but the staff were great for anything we needed the place was very clean we enjoyed our stay.
