We enjoyed staying here with our adult children over Christmas break. It's a very pretty and calm place with a cozy restaurant and Nordic rentals/paths. Would highly recommend.

I was so excited to stay here. We only got one night because it was booked all other nights but MAN I FELL IN LOVE. If you're considering booking here, don't even bother reading the rest of this review until your reservation is complete. Then come back and read more ;) But seriously, check in was strict at 3, no early checkin which was fine. Then when we came back they upgraded us from the 2 queen room to the condo, and it was the best room I've ever stayed in. The guy next to us informed us that the cabins are the same layout as the condos except dog friendly, so I went and booked veterans day weekend and it was cheaper per night rather than on this app. But anywho, make sure to call and ask for the breakfast ticket, it's for 2 people so you'll save! Both dinner and breakfast were great! The amount of peace, happiness and comfort felt here was a gift from God. We were so blessed to get upgraded, and so thankful for the getaway. We are so excited to come back!!! What a steal for how many beds you get and the comfy feeling of being in a beautiful place. They had lots of games and volleyball etc to play which would be so much fun if you had kids or more energy than we did after hiking. What a relaxing getaway place though! We got the free passes to go up the chairlift on the last day too If you've read all this and still aren't sure it's worth it, book it anyways. All of the people working were awesome as well

Beautiful log cabin lodge with wonderful staff! Loved the grounds and large tent full of yard games. Dined at the restaruant and it was delicious!

My friend, our two dogs, and I were touring Oregon. I booked this online and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. We had a cabin that backed up to the open field. The dogs loved smelling all of the new scents, we loved hiking around the property. We took advantage of the well maintained BBQs and made our own steaks for dinner and a night cap at the tavern to end our stay.

Our stay in Cabin 3 was top notch. Nice gas fireplace kept us toasty. The log cabin was built very solid. Mattresses were firm but comfortable. All the lights worked and there were charging cables on my lampstand.

Staff was so accommodating and so hospitable on our arrival. They literally walked us to our room provided us with a very nice upgrade and in a condo that was so comfortable spacious and very clean. The restaurant on the property was excellent with a great staff as well. We were wishing that we were staying longer!

Wonderful place to stay! We were lucky to get an upgrade to a condo which was amazing. Very clean, the staff was top notch, so friendly and inviting. Heather, who was our server for breakfast, was so sweet and offered ideas for things to do. The food was delicious for both breakfast and lunch. Property was so pretty and convenient to hiking trails. We will be back!

We stayed at the Inn and not the cabins. Our first mistake, as the room we had (14) was VERY dark and smelled of dog. We have a hypoallergenic dog because i am allergic. My throat immediately began to hurt. The inn has a closed in hallway, that has windows that do not open. Our room had zero fresh air and zero air conditioning. If you are claustrophobic in any way, do not stay in these rooms. Choose the cabins which are roomy, have more light and windows and doors to the outside. The staff were exceptionally accommodating with wanting to move us if there were openings. There were not so we had no choice but to cut our stay short. The only restaurant on site and for miles, was severely understaffed and we had poor service and poor food quality. Overall not a good experience for us. We may try again with a cabin next time because it is a very charming and lovely place on the mountain.

Very nice lodge. We had an upgrade at the front desk when we checked in to a condo, such a nice condo we took a lot of picutures. It had a full kitchen and a cozy living room + 2 bedrooms + 4 single bed on the second floor. We will definitely go back one day with our families. We also received a coffee bag as welcome gift which smelled very good(also tasted good). The location is also very convenient and short drive to several trail heads. We didn’t have a chance to try the onsite restaurant, but next time when we go back we’ll try!

I just finished a 6 Hour Drive and they wouldn’t let me do an early check-in and told me that I’m lucky that I could check in at 4 PM and that our event was at 5 that we were supposed to go to when we finally got in our room. We had no water. Thanks for the early check-in. Lol I will never go there again advice people not to go up there find a bed-and-Breakfast or stay in the Dalles they did not offer any kind of refund to me for the inconvenience I will tell you please don’t stay there. You would be disappointed. They said they have air conditioning. Air conditioning is in the hallway, not in the room. You have to open your windows to get the air in, very inconvenient. Staff was really rude and snobbish. If they had no stars I would give that!

We had a wonderful stay here. Super close to the ski area. Only drawback was the noise from upstairs, you can hear all the footsteps in the room above you as the floors are very thin. Definitely get the rooms on the 2nd floor if you can!

Hotel.com lists this hotel as pet-friendly but it isn't. Fortunately, the hotel manager made an exception. The hotel room is great, but it is noisy. The upstairs footsteps were very loud. The bed was fantastic.

Jerry was super welcoming and helpful! We initially only booked one night and we asked if we could possibly extend our stay for additional night and jerry made the additional arrangements so easy and seamlessly. Also he and Aaron were great to share other local recommendations.

Authentic lodge atmosphere. Friendly staff and good food. Convenient to Mount Hood attractions. Just off Hwy 35 making it a good stop between Portland and areas on the east side of Oregon.

Front desk service was the best I have Ever had. Thank you Heather and Hannah… Management, please give these girls recognition, they went above and beyond.

We enjoyed our stay. However, the restaurant was not open on Wednesday evening so we had to travel to Hood River to dine. We had a great breakfast on Thursday morning though. It is close to Tamanawas Falls and Mt. Hood where we hiked. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice property, clean, spacious rooms. Location is set in a remote area of the woods. Beds are very comfortable. Restaurant had a good selection of meals. Beautiful outdoor area with fire pits. Friendly, nice staff.

Very nice lodge. We had an upgrade at the front desk when we checked in to a condo, such a nice condo we took a lot of picutures. It had a full kitchen and a cozy living room + 2 bedrooms + 4 single bed on the second floor. We will definitely go back one day with our families. We also received a coffee bag as welcome gift which smelled very good(also tasted good). The location is also very convenient and short drive to several trail heads. We didn’t have a chance to try the onsite restaurant, but next time when we go back we’ll try!

We had a wonderful stay here. Super close to the ski area. Only drawback was the noise from upstairs, you can hear all the footsteps in the room above you as the floors are very thin. Definitely get the rooms on the 2nd floor if you can!

Wonderful place to stay! We were lucky to get an upgrade to a condo which was amazing. Very clean, the staff was top notch, so friendly and inviting. Heather, who was our server for breakfast, was so sweet and offered ideas for things to do. The food was delicious for both breakfast and lunch. Property was so pretty and convenient to hiking trails. We will be back!

Nice resort a short distance from magnificent views at Inspiration Point on Cloud Cap Road (may require AWD and high clearance in sand section). I'd give 5 stars if restaurant was open Monday, Tuesday, and Weds morning. As it was, Hotels.com did not indicate restaurant closure these times, and nearest open restaurants were Hood River or Government Camp, over one hour round trip. Without restaurant being open, this is just a motel on a mountain in the middle of nowhere -- not a resort. No discount on price either on these days -- just don't go. Thankful a Parkdale store was open 10 miles down the mountain.

Great location and nice clean room. The onsite restaurant was great for breakfast. Unfortunately it was closed for 2 days so we could not go there for dinner, but it was a quick 30 minute drive to Hood River with plenty of dining options. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

We stayed at the Inn and not the cabins. Our first mistake, as the room we had (14) was VERY dark and smelled of dog. We have a hypoallergenic dog because i am allergic. My throat immediately began to hurt. The inn has a closed in hallway, that has windows that do not open. Our room had zero fresh air and zero air conditioning. If you are claustrophobic in any way, do not stay in these rooms. Choose the cabins which are roomy, have more light and windows and doors to the outside. The staff were exceptionally accommodating with wanting to move us if there were openings. There were not so we had no choice but to cut our stay short. The only restaurant on site and for miles, was severely understaffed and we had poor service and poor food quality. Overall not a good experience for us. We may try again with a cabin next time because it is a very charming and lovely place on the mountain.

Loved the rooms, rustic, loved the restaurant. Wish it was open past 8:00 p.m., but I had the rib steak and it was beautifully cooked medium rare. Kudos to the chef! Great service by the bartender/waiter/cleaner!!

We only spent one night, but my 7 year old and 3 year old lived it. We played in the games tent. They gave us free coffee and it was super homey. The beds were pretty soft, but I recommend bringing a pillow if you can.

If you're unlucky enough to be assigned a room on the first floor with guests staying above you, you'll hear the ceiling creaking nonstop until the people upstairs finally go to bed. If they stay up late, so will you. I could overlook this if the room cost $150 a night, but for a hotel charging $300 a night, this is simply unacceptable.

We loved staying at Cooper Spur. Check in was easy, hostess walked us to our cabin and was helpful recommending dining options, as well as other activities. Cabin was clean and comfortable, location was great for exploring Mt Hood and the Hood valley. Plenty of amenities on site as well. Looking forward to staying here again.
