Very clean room, well equipped although could do with hairdryer being in the room. Parking was very good. Parked right outside our room. Bar was nice, didn't try the restaurant. Staff were all very helpful.

I stay here a lot for business but this time my husband was able to stay with me. I am always impressed with how clean the rooms are and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Well done to all as the food is excellent too

I was pleasantly surprised to find i had a one bedroom apartment. With great facilities. Staff were ever so helpful and polite and ordered the pizza from the onsite restaurant to my wee apartment. Delicious and simple continental breakfats included.although it is beside a busy bar and restaurant after 11pm i didnt hear and thing and slept soundly with no disturbances.

I like staying here as you can park right outside your room. There is an excellent bar and restaurant and I enjoyed sitting outside with a drink in the evening. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable.

Dog friendly accommodation for 1 night whilst visiting family. Bar was lovely, didn't stay for food but menu looked very good. Easy location on the edge of the city, very easy to get to by car and then to get into city.

The rooms were very clean apart from the cleaners had forgotten to empty the bin. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was modern and clean. There were lots of drinks options for the complimentary tea and coffee Most rooms now have a work station this did not it was no problem for us but may be for some visitors Also there was no WiFi code shown in the room The cooked breakfast that we paid extra for was fab.the continental breakfast also looked very good We had a very pleasant stay

More of a 'motel' as the accommodation was a block in the pub car aprk, but it was bright and airy with plenty of room and a good bathroom. Very noisy until pub-kicking out time but it's nice to hear folks having fun....against your room door. ;-)

Selected double room for the deep soaking bath but had a shower only. No hairdryer either. Room was very clean and well presented. Vertical blinds in window and old style windows made it slightly noisy.

Very popular venue so can be noisy into the night. Room was comfortable and clean. We needed to leave early in the mornings so packed breakfasts were supplied. Great staff. Cons: very worn mattress was very uncomfortable. No hooks in bathroom for hanging clothes or towels

The room was clean, but very tired, and the toilet didnt flush, without filling the top feom the kettle which was rather in convenient. It was ok for a nights stay, but could do with an upgrade. Bar/restaurant and breakfast good.

Modern boutique style hotel with bedrooms in lodges. The room was simple but very clean and a large walk in shower. There were plenty of supplementary tea, coffee and milk too. The staff were super friendly and polite and the food was very good value and homemade too. I don't think there was WiFi in the rooms though and air conditioning would have been welcomed.

Bedroom was fine. Bathroom not so as extractor fan did not work, bathroom door jammed on the tile floor, hot tap loose in the sink & toilet roll holder broken. Reported issues & was advised that a refit was due. They however would look into the issues in the meantime. This was room 12. Evening meal in the restaurant was very good

Nice property and would stay again. My only criticism was that on both check in and check out, I had to go looking for a member of staff because there was no-one on reception and no means to alert them to my waiting.

The room was excellent condition but sadly couple things let the stay down the fact on booking i ticked didnt want cleaning while i was there as wanted my privacy respected to find they had been in while we were out cleaned and chucked food away we had brought in 2nly the numbers quoted for room service didnt work so wasnt able to order in our room

Excellent reception. Welcoming staff. Packed breakfast ready for collection as requested. (Previous stays at same hotel was disappointing as breakfast was not supplied as promised. Only downside was the tired spring mattresses. Both of had poor sleep

Very friendly and welcoming staff. After checking in we found that the bathroom light switch was faulty which meant we couldn’t see to use facilities. This was reported promptly and unfortunately no other rooms were available. However the manager called called out maintenance and got it fixed. Huge thanks. Great service.

Room service offered and was excellent and quick. They supplied bucket of ice for my husband who had knee surgery and needed to ice his knee. Over and above I would say. Food from restaurant was very nice. Hotel only supplies whole milk but when I asked the gentleman at breakfast went above and beyond to get me some semi skimmed which was excellent!! Bar prices are very reasonable. All in all a great stay at the Littleover Lodge!

Stayed here overnight while visiting family and would definitely stay again. The staff were great especially Tara in reception. The continental breakfast is good with plenty of options which we were quite happy with especially as it’s included in the price. The outdoor seating area by the restaurant is very nice and very peaceful. You could barely hear traffic despite being so close to a busy road. The driveway is quite potholed and in need of some TLC. Our room was clean and not bad overall especially for the price although the double glazing in the window is badly blown and full of condensation so wouldn’t keep the warmth in the room during the winter Overall we were quite happy and would definitely recommend based on the location, the staff and the price.

I stayed for 1 night whilst working in the area. I found the staff to be both friendly and helpful, there’s a reduced menu on Mon & Tues, but I did try the pie, which was delicious. I’d like to stay later in the week to try food from the full menu.

Clean room and friendly staff. Slightly dated furniture but everything clean and functional. Plenty of parking. Continental breakfast included is basic - pastries / toast and good coffee.

I stay here a lot for business but this time my husband was able to stay with me. I am always impressed with how clean the rooms are and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Well done to all as the food is excellent too

The property met my expectations and was good value for money. My room was clean and fresh, with plenty of items on the hospitality tray for drinks in the room. The food in the restaurant was very good and I would definitely eat there again.

Modern boutique style hotel with bedrooms in lodges. The room was simple but very clean and a large walk in shower. There were plenty of supplementary tea, coffee and milk too. The staff were super friendly and polite and the food was very good value and homemade too. I don't think there was WiFi in the rooms though and air conditioning would have been welcomed.

The hotel is nice but we had some small issues during our stay. The room phone wasn't working, so I had to go to the reception to order a pizza (not so good/tasty) and to say that the shower hot water wasn't working (it was fixed).

Bedroom was fine. Bathroom not so as extractor fan did not work, bathroom door jammed on the tile floor, hot tap loose in the sink & toilet roll holder broken. Reported issues & was advised that a refit was due. They however would look into the issues in the meantime. This was room 12. Evening meal in the restaurant was very good

On first impressions this looks like a decent budget hotel. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are modern but that’s where the positives end. The biggest issue is the noise. The soundproofing is poor and you can hear conversations, TVs and movement from adjoining rooms. Despite the double glazed windows outside noise from the car park comes straight into the room. The floor to ceiling window beside the door is only covered by vertical blinds so the room is bright from around 5am in summer and offers very little privacy. Full length blackout curtains would make a huge difference. If you want a quiet night’s sleep this isn’t the place. A delivery lorry arrived at 7.30am, building work next door started at 8am and housekeeping were making plenty of noise outside by 9am. Continental breakfast was very basic. Check in was confusing as reception was locked when I arrived around 5pm so I had to walk through the busy beer garden to discover check in was at the bar. The staff member was friendly but was trying to serve customers and check guests in at the same time. I also woke up with what appears to be an insect bite during my stay. Overall it’s cheap but I’d happily pay a little more to stay somewhere quieter.

Thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay or eat, rooms nice, excellent food, the decor in the bar and the restaurant are exceptional, staff were so nice and helpful, in your room it is so quiet at night, you cannot hear the traffic from the main road, would thoroughly recommend and will be booking this again for my next trip to Derby 😀
